Something on c.ai as well, make sure you're reply to all of the bot's messages. If you send a second message from the bot, it's more likely to speak for your persona

sometimes it's an interesting method if you're like- completely stuck on what to say next. Not saying copy-paste what the bot makes, but it can give u at least a mild idea if you really need one

Oh, I find this so annoying anymore. It's been getting so much worse, especially when bots started sending replies acting as though you replied to the previous message even though you didn't. You used to be able to make it work and I miss being able to have the bot send multiple messages for it to continue its actions or responses with a second or even third one.

If you are possibly using an android device, sometimes the app on android can be glitchy depending on the kind of phone you have. I know it’s typical but I would say maybe just try restarting your phone and see what happens? Android or not cause yeah sometimes your phone can make the app go weird. It happens to me and I have a iphone.

Also, this could also mean that there’s something wrong with cai itself. Like a bug or something, another suggestion too id say is try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see what happens

tbh i think it’s not beneficial for the team adding the reading mode because many users are flying to other apps to avoid giving their id or verify their ages.
It’s both an advantage and disadvantage, the maintenance is expensive and having less people in the app means less money they get from ads.
Plus the reading mode goes agains what c.ai was in 2023, an app open to everyone.

As much as they might have wanted to leave it as open to everybody, they no longer have the choice. Multiple incidents, lawsuits, and a law passed in their home region (which they are required to obey, no matter where the app is downloaded and used) forced them to make C.ai an 18+ app. They may not have updates their terms yet and I'm not sure if the rating in the playstore was changed either.

Besides, it is not their fault nor their responsiblity if users choose to switch to a different app or site. Many have already started to implement changes as well to avoid what C.ai has been dealing with.

However, what they could've done differently cost-wise is not add all the extra features - image generation, stickers, stuff like that. I'm sure that stuff is more expensive to run then it would've been to patch the many bugs already existing within the app/site

Well, since it's supposed to be a global thing they've been slowly working on getting the update out everywhere. Some people get flagged right away, and some kinda just have it sitting in the background

When i tried verifiying myself on roblox i got accepted as over 18 by persona but i‘m kinda worries that they just randomly guess my age wrong when doing so on cai (bc somehow everything breaks once its interacted with cais servers)

I believe not everyone HAS to verify though. I‘m not sure whats the criteria, but i guess writing style. I rarely use like brainrot and stuff so maybe thats why

The way Roblox has it set up is a lot different than C.ai, since roblox is a gaming platform with access to direct chat with other people, they have to try and pick an age group to plop you into. C.ai only really checks if you're 18 or not

That's been happening for a very long time, even last year when people got stuck on it, it showed a shortened version of the number....mine no longer shows any number at all

Not too sure what the criteria are exactly, but I think they do some checks like seeing when you use it, how long, what bots you interact with (tho they don't read the chats themselves) and could be more that they check

Uhh, i usally use it in the evening, before going to bed and rarely in the morning, like only on weekends. And i mostly chat with characters from adult gaming franchises like resident evil so i should be fine
