I have looked into the lawsuit quickly and it appears that the timeline of events occurred within December 2024 — specifically a two to three week period before the parents were made aware of the conversations their child was having, having taken away access soon after.

And if you're wondering, no, fortunately the story of events doesn't end with a loss of a life, though the lawsuit does allege that their time on the platform has led to psychological and emotional harm with the conversation the AI was having with them.

Oh yeah, should add that the child in question was eleven at the time of the events.

Keep in mind that AI is still a very new field and when this app came out 3 years ago it was even newer. At that time it was still very hard to properly gauge the risks that come with it. Now there are more studies and people are starting to realize more and more that AI may not be as harmless, especially for teenagers, as they thought it was.

(Also, the old CEO of C.AI literally left Google, because Google wanted to do more research on the product, because they thought it wasn't safe... He left to publish it anyway, knowing that and accepting it. That's the whole root of this issue, tbh. The new CEO is trying to salvage the mess that came from the old CEO's decision.)

Hey does anyone have a solution for memory issues? I have c.ai+ but the bot just cannot hold a conversation. I could say "my favourite fruit is the apple", then continue the chat. Maybe 3 messages total go by, still talking about food, and then the bot forgets that I mentioned my favourite fruit is the apple, and then be like "omg no way, I didn't know you liked apples".

Like its been 3 messages. How is this acceptable? Its like it only reads back the last 2 messages. I am regretting paying for this. Its like I need to remind it every other message that, yes, we are talking about apples.

For me the perks are very heavily mitigated because the bots memory is so SHORT.
There's no point to deepsqueak or faster responses if the bot can't remember the context of the conversation.

Try changing chat styles and rewinding back to before the behavior started. It's just a glitch. Unless you have an excessive amount of pins, but usually full memory/pins cause the bot to keep reponding to the last pin and nothing else

Tips:

1. Make sure it's not a character from Disney, dreamworks, WB, DC. If they are then try not to mention their name or just try name them differently.

2. Make sure there is no banned words in either greeting/ description/ definition. If you don't know how to do it, then try to do paragraph each till you find it.

3. If none of those works then try to crop the picture of the bot's profile a little or just change it.

4. You can't edit moderated bots as well even If they came back (I think).

Last thing if none works then it's just error and you have to send ticket about it in here. ⬇️
