Persona's facial recognition is probably flawed when it comes to people who are 'not old enough'. I imagine if I were to sit an actual elderly man in front of a smartphone's camera and have him scan his face, the facial recognition software would probably detect the fact that, well, it's an elderly man. But if you're, say, 18-20, there's a good chance you still have too many physically 'young' features that the software is detecting.

Just a guess. I can't say I know for sure.

This lol. C.ai is a fun writing tool but there's no way on God's green Earth I'm trusting my government ID to a third party like Persona, even if it's "trustworthy" and "used by services like LinkedIn and Roblox".

I've said it before, but I'll say it again for effect. All it takes is one intern getting compromised and running a RAT or something and then that's it. Game over. You'll be looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life, credit frozen, worrying about identity theft.

Corporations have no incentive to care about losing our private data because there's no consequence for doing so. A slap on the wrist, a 'fine' that's equivalent to a few seconds of lost revenue, nothing more.
