I press the button to, the options for models pop up, but as soon as I hit 'start new chat', the button bounces to show that I pressed it, but it doesn't,, do anything. I've tried on chrome mobile, chrome laptop and edge laptop. None work. I have to open the app to start new chats. Still. I write so the direction is moved in but also give the bot a bit of a prompt.

I know I said I don’t get this from the bot, but if the bot asked “can I ask you a question?” My response would be “sure. Is it about ______?” So the bot could either confirm my suggestion/prompt or disagree and give another answer. The loop happens when the bot is too dumb to think of a response, so you kinda gotta help them. Anyway that’s my take. It’s better to prompt bots into responses (for me).

You can only edit the bot’s last message. If it’s not letting you do that, it’s probably a bug, happened to me a few weeks back. Restarting the app or reinstalling it usually fixes it. If you’re on web, try clearing your browser cache and cookies.
