The AI is probably trained using RP forum content as their training materials, hence why they're doing the OOC comment like what rl ppl usually do in RP forum.
Don't trust anything that the bot says either, because it's all made up.

Pinned memories work, but you need to guide the bot on which pin memories you want it to remember. Here is an example: #💭︱cai-discussion message

Don't restrain the bot's memory. If you want to pin your message in the chat, make sure the prompts is below 550 characters.

I use pinned message as two different thing.

One, message that are important to the roleplay, the details that I don't want the bot to forget at all. As an example: The bot cheating with me once or the bot calling me a kid (so it stay platonic).

Second, I usually pinned message that was angst to the roleplay. As an example, why I got thigh injury due to break-in or when I was MIA in a mission. After the angst and conflict have finished and is not significant anymore to the roleplay, I unpin it. My pinned messages stay low, the important one just below 5.

And now, cai release the memory box but the limit is 400 characters. Use this as temporary and editable pin. If you want the bot to remember you likes cake in the rp, type in there. After the plot move forward, you can erase it and place it with something else.

Sometimes, the app/website can be down or slow for some people caused by a lot of stuff (WiFi problems, weather like snow, storm or rain, etc...). It can also be a local problem in a way, like cAI has problems connecting to the servers in some parts of America while it works in others.

Or it can also be the device, mostly if it's 'old' or if it has problems with WiFi in general, which can cause the login problem. Idk I'm not an expert but it's the main things that cause cAI to be down or slow for some people, even if the servers aren't overloaded.
