If you want longer responses you are also better off using a bot with a longer greeting. Even if you're low effort, the bot will compensate because the greeting directs the bot in the right direction.

This is true too! I mentioned in my post how, if you come across a bot with a good plot but poor grammar/ little storyline, you can edit the first message the bot sends by default. This way you can keep an interactive roleplay while sticking to the plot.

You can get long responses even with absolutely 0 work in any of the other sections.

You don't always need long details in the description and character definition areas, unless you want the bot to have/remember specific details. If you write the greeting well enough, and if you respond well enough, that alone can induce a creative roleplay. This especially applies to fandom characters that already have information saved in their database. For personal ocs, I suggest a simple, couple sentence long description in their description box, but even that isn't necessary so long as you work with a good beginning chat.

Not putting effort in the definition does show. The dataset behind the LLM is not good enough to go solely off a greeting imo. A good bot will have a definition chock full of necessary info, especially if the series they come from has a unique world to it.

Yes, you're just recommending it to them, but if they really do it, the more important ping —like when things get out of hand in gen-chat or if there's a more pressing matter that the mod needs to attend to—. those pings will get drowned out by ppl who do what you recommended.

Overall, imo it's probably better to not ping the mod/ team unnecessarily if it's not that urgent or if there's already an existing channel for that.

Are you unable to save/ edit it or smth? 👀
If yes, then it's probably bcs you have some banned words in the description/ definition/ greetings/ tagline/ bot's name that's hindering it.
The banned words could be smth Harry Potter/DC/WB franchise's related words, violent words (like k!ll, sh, murd3r, etc), or just words that could be seen as inappropriate even if it looks harmless within context.

What you can do:

• If you're unsure which word causes your issue, you can try leaving one paragraph at a time and try to save it, to see which paragraph has the banned words.
• Once you find which paragraph has it, you can try figuring it out on your own which word/s is/are the problem.

If you have further question, you can ask on #💭︱cai-discussion instead, since this channel is more for posting chat-feed screenshots & it has much lower cooldown there.
