the timer on slow mode doesn't matter. it is an estimate and not an exact time of when slow mode ends. in simple words: as long as the servers keep being active and loaded with users, slow mode will decrease the response time on bots so that the servers don't crash.

First thing I would do is take out the stutter text, or the bot will continuously use it for a long time, since it's in the intro, and from there that also might make it easier to write more, because doing that limited yourself a bit to short dialogue since you imply they can't speak well at the moment

You can also still have short dialogue in the intro as long as your definition has the bot talking in long paragraphs, since the definition has more of an impact on behaviour than the greeting.
