It just means out of character, like in a roleplay, you tell people 'OOC' to show that you want them to be talking to you and not your character.

This doesn't work very well with bots, because that's not how they're designed.

There's the Recent chat list on the lefthand side of the page (PC), or the Chats tab at the bottom (mobile)

But that doesn't hold all of your chats, just the most recent ones you've used.

On mobile, you can pin specific chats to keep them at the top of the list

As a note, CharAI remembers the older chats, it just doesn't show them.
This is relevant because you can manually reenter old chats if you search for them/re-find them.
Alternatively, you can hide the chats you like the least to bring the older chats back onto the list

(Of course you may want to copy the chat's links/save them before hiding them so you can get back to them later if you might forget)
