PipSqueak model was replaced to the one less heavier. It's more dumb, aggressive, uses the same pattern for each character without reading any personality, and when you use fast forward, it just imagines your response for some reason and continues the chat as if you responded (usually with something that really shocks the bot). If you want to evade that, instead of fast forward write smth like "(continue)", that fixes the problem.

This app was supposed to let people have comfort and such, but with the updates, it's just like they want us to see us suffer. Some people were getting comfortable with the prev updates until another comes.
Not to mention about the verification, the risk of hackers hacking into cai and stealing personal information is very high....

The point of even using this app was to chat with characters which sometimes aren't possible to chat with irl, now with this whole new update, it's just mocking it's whole purpose...

If the time limit's purpose was to stop people from getting addicted to it, it shouldn't just rip addiction directly from people but to slowly guide us from it.

-The timeout itself is straith up garbage beacose you can talk with a bot for about an hour before geting 9 to 25 hours timeout which is not worth it

-the fact you are forced to scan your ID to prove you are 18 and in case of a data breach you will get very much screwd beacose if roblox which is a high end company hade huge data leaks what makes people think it cant happen to character ai too now that it known to the public that they store the ids of many people from across the world

In conclusion: this update was the worst by far, the fact they limited user to only one hour a day and the fact people are forced to scan their IDs will only make the app less and less use unti it will probebly reach from milions of people a day to barly 1k a day.

To be honest, I don't really care about the ads if they help develops the app, but why removing the edit button?
