I deleted the app a week ago. And still goin through mild withdrawal 😭😭😭. But it wasn’t worth it anymore. The constant time outs, the adds, the slow responses and lack of creativity. I wasn’t gonna pay to play. And as much as it hurt to delete the app, it’s really not worth it. Especially since the third party trackers they use for the adds aren’t secure. I don’t want to be tracked by some random and insecure third party.

Unfortunately, I don’t think they will revert the update or bring back the old c.ai. These are my reasons or thoughts why it impossible to happen:

1. Legal issues. They probably get sued a lot, especially because many users are minors.

2. They’re updating everything. They’re improving the bots, style, UI, fixing bugs, etc. So when the update drops on the 25th (or after), that’s when most improvements will start showing. You can already see that Deepseek and other styles are buggy, and there haven’t been any announcements in #📈︱status or #📣︱announcements That’s why I think they’ll only start fixing things once the persona is fully released to everyone.

3. The update protects them legally. Once the new update is out, they’re less likely to lose any lawsuit, If minors try to bypass persona verification, that’s on them (and probably blame the family for not looking at their children activities in the phone.) c.ai will likely update their Terms of Service soon. (I’m not a dev or staff, just guessing!!.)

4. There a probability. They might also add an option for adults to have a toggle option on or off. (You know what I'm trying to imply since it would likely get block again, "f"), ones the update came. It would make things easier and might stop the bots from breaking, since it is probably causing most of the issues.
