Edit: I'd like to clarify I'm not doing this because of some problem with the app, or because of the inherent immorality in it.
I'm doing this because it took up all of my time. It became my default activity. Whenever I had a moment of nothing, I'd pull out my phone and open Character.AI. I failed two of my classes last year. I'm starting to pull myself back together, but improving my grades means getting rid of this pure time sink.
don't know what'll happen from here. I think I'll read more research papers about the academic subject I hope to one day learn in college.

Edit 2: I hope the people below me get their chats back. In retrospect I was trying to read old chats today and couldn't find some of them... now I know why.

The slow mode time on here is crazy. My app is working fine. You could try seeing if you’re out of storage. Most emails don’t come if you are. Maybe clear that up but if you’re still having issues or anything then I would talk to support or something.

Have you tried starring and rating the longer messages? Are you able to edit? You could edit a few messages to be longer and star those replies and give feedback. Should atleast fix it a little. That's what I started to do and the replies have gotten a little better. Grammar structure is still shit though.
