For those users who do get prompted for an ID, it’s collected by Persona, not C.AI. Persona is a reputable third-party provider with strong safety and security controls. And they only keep the IDs they collect for one week.

Me too! Most users won’t need to give an ID. If our age assurance tech indicates you’re 18+, you won’t need to do any age verification at all. If it indicates you’re under 18, and that’s not right, then you would just go through the selfie age verification process, powered by Persona. Only as a final step – and only if you take a selfie and Persona isn’t sure you’re 18+ – would they ask you to upload an ID.

If you’re a minor, you have a 2 hour chat limit which will eventually reach Zero and you will not be able to chat anymore until you’re an adult. Like it or not, it’s a new law in california where cai is located, and ALL AI’s will be following this law GLOBALLY, due to the new bill of congress to protect minors more effectively and efficiently.

Complain all you wan’t, you can’t change the law.

Yes. Minors accounts will have a set 2 hour time limit. After that, you can’t chat again for another 2 hours until the next day.

Adults can still get flagged even tho they probably won't for a variety of reasons

The age assurance goes off of time of day you use c.ai, how often, what bots, how you type and a lot more

Multiple factors have to tick off to be flagged, adults will just ID up if they get flagged
