ik this is very off topic but would anyone have a fix for error 2012 when trying to watch a screenshare or if someone has there cam on.

its random with users but i've tried the following:

turn off all firewalls
clear all discord cache
reinstall discord
changed my primary dns to 1.1.1.1
tried every single youtube video with no fix 🙁

So, I managed to fix my DiscordPTB client. I ended all 5 instances of DiscordPTB from Task Manager, I deleted the version folder, I resintalled PTBDiscord from their website, and now it works!
Best thing is that I have all of my cache, drafts, other local data back without having to delete everything to reinstall!

Hi, i have an issue with my ShowHiddenChannels plugin i have reinstalled and uninstalled and then installed instead of reinstalling ive checked known-issues and maybe im being stupid but there isnt any support regarding my issue, all of the hidden channels have turned into 'No Access' rather than showing the name but with a little lock they are also above the actual voice channels meaning if a server has loads i have to scroll all the way down, ive tried disabling it and enabling it and that hasnt worked either, sorry if this issue has been mentioned and i just missed it but i have had a good look and i cant see it, ive also updated and its been going on for a week ish now.

That's what vesktop essentially does. Also the discord app itself is a lot more than just a web browser displaying discord.com, it's also over a decade of sloppy code bodged together that somehow still functions but not really too well.

Either use vesktop and see if that helps or just live with the fact that discord is a memory hog.

Hi everyone, I have a quick question. I was looking to download Vencord and found two links: the official Vencord and another one called 'Vencord Arabic'.

Is 'Vencord Arabic' affiliated with you or officially recognized? I just want to make sure if it's safe to use or if I should avoid it.

whenever i try to open the vencord installer it says ue4ss error failed to load ue4ss.dll and ive uninstalled the installer and reinstalled it, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling discord itself, but it hasnt worked

ive had this issue twice, seeming no correlation between either incidents. randomly, as i was typing a message, my full email and password were typed out then sent (i did not type them myself and they were typed out very quickly). every time it happened i immediately changed my password and email, repaired my version of vencord and ran a virus scan on my pc but it never came up with anything. couldnt find anything online for it either.

It was in ~/.var/app/com.discordapp.Discord/config/discord/app-1.0.139 with a binary symlink in ~/.var/app/com.discordapp.Discord/config/discord/Discord
but I renamed the folder and it launched

hii, i tried to download vencord but it's not showing up in my settings! i've gone through the installer as normal, restarted discord completely, reinstalled it when i couldn't find it, restarted discord again, it's unfortunately still not there 😔 the vencord folder seems to be outside the discord folder which i feel like i read somewhere shouldn't be the case? but i could be wrong i don't know this stuff

Do a clean reinstall using Discord's guide for your platform (completely different from a normal reinstall)
Windows – macOS

TLDR for Windows:

• Press Windows key + R

• Paste %AppData%

• Delete Discord folder

• Repeat for %LocalAppData%

• Reinstall Discord
