Even tho it says the version is 6ee6033, it is actually 51b4748 because it doesnt fix anything and the version stays 51b4748 after restarting vencordinstaller.exe

Restarting my PC doesn't fix anything. I'm using Windows 11 Pro 25H2 Desktop PC

I read about and heard that vencord is low risk as it doesnt nessecarilly access private information or grant permissions that someone shouldnt have. Hi, new installs of discord canary on Linux no longer seem to install the executable into /opt/discord-canary and instead uses the bundled installer to put the executable into the user's config directory

this seems to break the default vencord installer since it seems to look in /opt/ by default

the issue seemed to start when canary's version got bumped to 1.0.x

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Hey so for some reason Vencord React DevTools is not showing up inside the dev tools. I tried redownloading vencord, repairing it, reloading and restarting Discord and same problem with VeskTop. im having an issue that suddenly cropped up only a few minutes ago that i didnt have earlier, idk if its a vencord issue or discord issue, so ima need some help, ive been chatting to some peoples here and there in dms and in a server, and after sending a message, it sends as if its a deleted message, the message appears all red like its been deleted OR not sent? idk whats causing it

heres my most recent message, right when i sent it it appeared like this. i cant tell if its sent, or been deleted. when i right click it, it brings up the option allowing me to delete it, and its happened in dm's AND a server. so its not like some moderator bot or anything.

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back
