Okay, I’m not sure if this is a problem with my browser or with Vencord, but I’m having an issue.
I use the Vivaldi browser on Linux (CachyOS), and when I try to share my screen on Discord, other people can’t see my stream even though I can see it perfectly on my end. And when I try to stop the stream, the page crashes.
I don’t know if it’s caused by Vencord or something similar. I’m using the Vencord Web extension, and at first I thought it was because of the FakeNitro plugin, but even after disabling it, the problem continued.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

it's not a vencord problem, it's a discord problem. the fix that worked for me was going to windows power plan settings and setting max cpu usage to 99% (apparently factory default for most cpus + installations of windows 10/11 is 95%). 100% cpu usage (even for a millisecond) flags discord to turn off krisp lol

sounds like a crazy compromise for discord but the change in system performance is almost negligible (it would make a bigger difference to up your ram speeds or overclock your cpu at all but few people do that lol

Just wanted to report, MacOS Discord 0.0.378 (0.0.378) (Latest Update) completely breaks and becomes unlaunchable requiring reinstallation when using the official Vencord Installer version 1.4.0 (8bd9dfd).

After attempting to install, the OS reports the Discord App is broken and needs to be reinstalled with the only option being to Move to Trash.

Attempted reinstall on fresh copy of Discord (Launched once, verified operation, Installed Vencord, attempting launch and was corrupted and required reinstall as even the Uninstall Button in the Vencord Installer failed to correct)

Suspect something has changed somewhere causing the injection of whatever is being done to fail.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

I exclusively use Discord Web, so that method for completing quests doesn't work for me, as it requires the client.

As for the CSS, I just tried it, but it has some incompatibilities with some of my plugins; I was looking for something similar to a button that hides the sidebar, like Discord Web does on mobile.
