The Vencord part of the settings menu on Discord won't show up but at the same time, I think some plugins still work..? Like 99% of them don't but I got a relationship notifier and oddly enough, when I entered this channel, it said I was using an outdated version of Vencord. I tried reinstalling VencordInstaller.exe and pressing the uninstall button, then pressing install. This problem's still happening. It started a few days ago.

Edit: Also, I forgot to mention, if I try to press Reinstall / Repair, I get the first screenshot.

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

I assume the chrome extension is for people who use discord in chrome, meaning it's not applicable to me because I use the app

but also, I see other people saying that updates have already been sent out, but my server icons are still the default discord shape, and my info bar on the bottom left has now extended past where I put the quickcss script lets it. My vencord says it's updated normally, and its acting fine. everything looks fine on the settings side

okay so the CLI code is outdated, and it seems that they have a installer that produces asar files directly from the released files. apparently the server blocks talking about building vencord from source (which i personally think is different from building the installer from source, but the filter doesn't seem to disambiguate)

apparently it's that the CLI code is too new (https://github.com/Vencord/Installer/commit/fd7108be649a31b0c136d3db5d9c8a6cb47b64eb), i think just checking out the tag v1.4.0 from the installer repo might work?
