Thats an issue of the site so cant do much about that

Once you pick a theme you want, you open discord settings, go to the theme tab, press “open theme folder” and drag the theme you downloaded into there

Then you press “load missing themes” and the theme you downloaded should show up, enable it and it should work

The only way to edit the theme is within the file itself, if the theme has an image background it will generally have a link to the image, you just need to replace it

I fixed it by restarting my computer, so its not encessarily an ongoing issue, but everytime I patched discord on Ubuntu I would get the error "a.trackMainWindowJSAppInteractiveDuration is not a function" after launching

Almost every other day, I have to re-paste my QuickCSS settings back in because the entire text file gets wiped...I started keeping backups of it just in case and it's kinda getting annoying. u need to reinstall bc u got the different app.asar file that vencord cant patch, if u go into ur local appdata and discord, go into the latest version folder and find a file called app.asar.bspatch that means its broken and u need to reinstall

When switching between two accounts using discords switch account function in the bottom left, it resets the default discord theme in the app settings tab to dark rather than keeping it set to onyx.
uninstalling vencord and testing it kept it set to onyx and to my knowledge none of my enabled plugins affect themes

I'm having a lot of trouble installing vencord, basically this is what it tells me:

Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

That's not the problem, the problem is that when I install vencord I also use the script to close vencord by running the taskkill command, I'll show you what I mean:

I always had it created as admin, the script is for Discord Canary I use it because I'm a beta tester, but strangely I have this problem, I try not to start the script as admin and go close it directly from the task manager, in case I reinstall Discord Canary since luckily I have a backup of my plugins

I've been using the script for at least two years, if not more, because it's convenient for me as I don't have to go crazy downloading the visible installer.

This is the very first time I write here, for this problem, I have never had any problems, I have always run the script as admin, it has never given me any problems, only now that I have forced the shutdown of the PC I have this kind of problem

the reason you are having problems is because you have run it as admin in the past

plus theres really no reason to use it over stable because it rarely actually gives you new features early

When you view a hidden channel using the ShowHiddenChannels plugin, it shows you members who have access to the channel, is there a way to see the members full user, because from what i see you can only see their display name.

It seems like you're trying to use the development build of Vencord without actually understanding how to use it. Please read the documentation, or better yet get the installer from https://vencord.dev/download.

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

It’s not really a support problem, but would it be possible to make Vencord notifications in the notification log clickable? For example, if a "Friend Removed" notification pops up, clicking it would ideally open that user's profile. This would be a great quality of life improvement for tracking changes. If this isn't something currently possible, is there a way I could implement this myself?
