Alright I am coming in here cuz I noticed something wonky with the Tampermonkey script for Firefox, and I'm 100% sure it's a bug???

So to put it short, if I set Firefox as my default web browser, the script does not work whatsoever. It acts as if Vencord does not exist.
HOWEVER if I set another browser as my default and then open Discord, the script then decides to work.

Small question - I use Discord via Flatpak, is there something I can do (whether via Vencord, Flatseal, OBS Studio, anything) to get automatic Streamer Mode to work?

I know Vencord has a plugin named AutoDNDWhilePlaying but rich presence doesn't work, something I'm not concerned about other than the fact that I'd like Streamer Mode - or Do Not Disturb - to kick in whenever OBS Studio is running

I did try this (ArchWiki) to get rich presence working on the Flatpak Discord instance, but it didn't make a difference. I don't have a ~/.config/user-tmpfiles.d/ directory so I didn't make it, especially since the 1st of the 2 steps didn't work, but I can try it.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

A fix if you updated to the new discord settings design and lost vencord:

• Force enable discords hidden Experiments (See link lower down)
• Search for redesign-1
• Change to Variant 0
• Close and re-open settings.
  Done.. you have the old settings back and a working vencord.

anyone have a clue as to why PinDMS is causing my discord to break like this? providing to examples, one when im not on a dm page (ex. friends, nitro home, etc) and one whenever i'm on a dm page (it removes the "DIRECT MESSAGES" tab completely, and merges it all into the category i have. though, whenever i shrink the category only the dms i have pinned in that category shrink.)

If you are trying to use cloud integrations in the browser (specifically Firefox), it won't work due to CSP issues as the Vencord extension cannot correctly allow access to the API. There's no fix besides using a different browser or using the desktop clients.

to fix vencord not appearing with the new settings rollout design, follow these instructions;

• enter the console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+I
• type allow pasting into the console and press enter, if it says "unexpected identifier 'pasting'" that means it has worked.
• enter the following code into the console;

what may be the equivalent file locations on a linux system? I'm observing similar symptoms on Fedora 42.

Flatpak breaks until I specifiy to erase all data on the software installer and reinstall. Same thing observed for the tar.gz. I get a fresh one, and I go back to hanging at the "Starting..." screen upon running the vencord installer.
