Vesktop-specific support ended with "i have no idea" so im here now. Vesktop opening with nothing but a white screen, tried both right clicking the tray icon to repair it and using the console command but to no avail. The cause is almost definitely me being on a school laptop until my main one gets fixed and they completely disabled access to the C:/ drive without an admin password.

Some actions seem to make it lag more than others tbh. Restarting only helps for like 10mins but yeah. Something's definitely changed because BD does not have this lagging problem at all

Yeah It's different for everyone. A friend of mine has no issues on one of his laptops, but his other laptop it lags hard. Same setup, same plugins. Both of them are vesktop and yeah. That's why I mentioned it again because I find it a bit odd

100% discord did something. Have been using discord since 2015 and never once experienced lag until after the new UI was introduced. Even when it was in the client, with the expirment flags to revert back to the old UI it was flawless. The second they removed that flag, that's when it went downhill

A friend of mine was using Vencord plus, recently, he's been getting massive memory leaks, lags, and a generally bad performance with Vencord. I read the #1257025907625951423 but his case was different.
Those are his specs:
i5 12600k Gigabyte Z690 RTX 3070ti Corsiar vengenance 16x2 GB DDR4 Have 2 samsungs SSDs and an HDD

im tryna get this theme working, its sposed to look like pic 1:

Not all elements get skinned correctly
the top and left side, their colors match whatever "Default Theme" I have on discord, in fact some other themes break even more of the theme (pic 3)

but the dev cant reproduce these issues, and my new vesktop buddy can use the theme just fine (pic 4)
so it seems to be an issue with me specifically? i tried uninstalling and deleting my vesktop data and reinstalling fresh but no cigar.

the dev mentioned at least one other user had the issue but they werent able to reproduce it
so im not alone in having it but if its as i suspect then more people will have it over time and itll have to be another thing themes need to update

No. These packages are maintained by people (usually) unrelated to Vencord. We can't provide support for unofficial repackages of Vencord unless it's an actual bug in the mod itself (except when such bugs occur due to the repackage).
