Quick question as I could not find anything after a quick search through the channel or #1257025907625951423

I am having issues with images (gifs, pictures, server icons, etc. Seems to be any image in discord) loading and ive identified it to likely be a vencord imposed issue as ive done the following which is pointed me towards it being the cause:

1. Disable vencord (desktop stable)

• Issue resolved

2. Re-enabled vencord with my usual themes & plugins enabled (desktop stable)

• Issue persists

3. Disabled all themes & plugins but otherwise left vencord installed/enabled

• Issue persists

Has anyone encountered this before? Ive attempted to re-install/repair vencord several times. I also went and wiped out the discord cache a few times now with vencord enabled & disabled. For the peeps with the memory leak and crashing, it seems to be occuring only with Vencord, and while running a game. Having game overlay disabled seems to stop it.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Hello everyone, I have been having massive problems with Vencord since the last Discord update. If I run Discord without Vencord then everything is fine but as soon as I install Vencord Discord takes more and more power from my system until the whole system crashes and then Discord just crashes. It's especially bad when I'm still watching streams in Discord. Is there a solution for this or will there be an update soon?

Turn off discord overlay and discord clips, this is the current suggestion

i tried the wildberry theme if it matters

and that themes supposed to make the grey into like a deep purple

vencord sometimes automatically restarts after some time, happened to me 5 times while playing valorant, tabbed me out every time and the discord icon was flashing in the taskbar
