Hello I recently installed postmarketOS and I can run firefox and Vesktop on it but neither is good, for firefox there is the server list and side bar that prevent me from chatting, for Vesktop the whole app is just too wide
I assume nobody ever tried to use userscripts and shit to heavily modify the web UI to display better on mobiles right?

How to update if you can't update via normal means

Sometimes Vencord might break or crash and make it impossible to update via normal means. Here's how to fix it!

Discord Desktop

Use the Repair button in the installer. You will not lose your Vencord or Plugin settings.

Vesktop

Right click the vesktop tray icon > Update Vencord.
If you don't have a tray, you can run the following script in devtools (ctrl + shift + i, then click on the console tab and paste):

Userscript

the rpm version (fedora) of vesktop seems to be broken rn. today it started cutting off parts of the window, so either the chat bar on the bottom or anything at the top isn't visible/reachable. i fixed it by installing the flathub version instead. that fixed my issue with textreplace as well

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back
