This is a known issue with the frame discord is built off of completely closing Discord from the task manager should fix. Otherwise there’s nothing we can do about it.

Hi, I've been using the rpc plugin with my own arrpc server since the built-in server doesn't work for me. However, I have another thing on my computer that uses port 1337. I successfully managed to get the arrpc server to run on another port, but vencord/the builtin rpc plugin doesn't seem to detect it. Is there a way I can change the port it looks at?

My themes broke and now I can't open settings or disable them

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
• remove all themes

Hi, I've been using the rpc plugin with my own arrpc server since the built-in server doesn't work for me. However, I have another thing on my computer that uses port 1337. I successfully managed to get the arrpc server to run on another port, but vencord/the builtin rpc plugin doesn't seem to detect it. Is there a way I can change the port it looks at?

Is there a clean way to use vencord with regular desktop discord(-canary)? currently using vencord-installer every time which isn't the greatest solution. The AUR package also seems to depend on vesktop so that's not an option

It might not be a vencord issue, but sometimes when Im in a call and im watching a stream / a camera is open my discord just freezes. I need to minimize discord en reopen it, but after 10-45 seconds it will freeze again. I never had this issue before

Hi everyone! I've searched to fix my problem on the web, but I didn't find any solution to that. So, I've come here with hope that someone known how to fix this. In short, I can't screen share in vocals with my friends if I put my headset as the default output, but it work if I put my monitor speakers by default. It look like the problem is that Vesktop/Vencord is detecting my headset has a normal device and a communication device (it does the same for the microphone). If i delete the driver of my headset and unplug it then it does the same thing but with my monitor speakers. Someone has experienced this issue before?

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Yes it’s a know issue and there are alot of well-known issue(s) with TabsV2 that honestly won’t be fix until/ if discord fully rolls out the update. Until then id recommend just disabling the new Ui.

You can only use plugins made specifically for Vencord.
