6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!
8. If you still get the same error, give your terminal app Full Disk Access and try again

Good Evening , I seem to run into an issue with my vesktop , I went to start the application like I do everyday and it's starts up but sticks on the 'loading vesktop...' It's been doing this for about 30 minutes now. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling vesktop and have the same result, I also went in and ran the installer/updater file and still have the same result of a infinite 'loading vesktop'. I read through the FAQ online and in the server and also looked in the known issues and don't see anything similar to my issue here.

to fix: go to task manager and end vesktop (if running). then win r & search for %AppData% and delete the vesktop folder & restart pc. then redownload vesktop and try again

Hey so I'm on Linux (Mint 22.1) using Vesktop, and I'm trying to screenshare No Man's Sky. I'm running into an issue with the audio though, because when you tab out of NMS, all of the sound cuts off from the game so when I go to add it as an audio source for the screenshare, it's no longer there. Is there any way I can get around this? I've already checked and there's no way to stop the game from cutting off audio when not tabbed into it through in-game settings.

Is there any way to like obfuscate against that from the server side? say I have some level of information in the name of that Hidden channel that makes it easier to identify at a glance, but I do not want to run the risk of other server members knowing what that is?

Similarly, you can see who is included in that channel with that plugin. Is there a way to prevent users of Vencord and others like it from seeing this?

yeah, when I was installing this distro I was having issues with updating everything using discover and had to go use sudo apt get update && sudo apt get upgrade... hopefully they figure out how to get it working better.

i think its just a general issue that gui software managers have, since i noticed the issue with gnome's software center too and i believe mint's app manager (or whatever its called) has the same issue

I didn't notice any issue with Mint's manager. It worked fairly quickly and didn't hang at all when I used it. (it also had vesktop listed in it by default without having to go to the website but thats a minor thing)

I don’t think it would keep everything, relationship notifier just tells you if you were removed/kicked/banned from servers, gcs and if friends remove you. I don’t think it collects old data.

If there was notification history it would be nice though, and if there is I’d need help finding that :/

I've had RelationshipNotifier spam notify me when I logged into a new account in the same client, just because the new account wasn't in the same servers as the old account! So I'm pretty positive it's saved somehow locally.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Hey folks! I'm on OpenSUSE, running the latest Vesktop - some videos seem to only play audio when embedded. I suspect a codecs issue, but I have installed my codecs and other packages (non-flatpacks) seem to load those files without issue. Did I miss a codec somewhere? Thanks in advance. 🙂

Hey, I just found out that when I change from one Discord account to another my Discord Nitro theme disappears, however, Nitro icon doesn't become default one and that's weird. Is it a normal Vencord issue or something is wrong for me?

I am trying to make my own little plugin to just rearrange some channels on a server but I can't seem to find any documentation on how patches work, I've tried referencing other vencord plugins to try and figure it out but it's so foreign to me, It feels like other plugins are using documented values such as this patch:
