Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

Found the solution after a bit of testing, if anyone ever needs it: In autostart app you open options for Vesktop and in 'arguments' at the very end you add space and --start-minimized. Works on KDE Bazzite

lastfmrichpresence seems to suddenly be refusing to show song info on presence. i have updated vencord, restarted the client, verified settings on last.fm are set correctly, verified my api key is still active, verified that activity privacy is properly set, but it is simply not pulling anything from last.fm rather suddenly as it was literally working a few hours ago and ive been throwing rocks at this client to no avail. i can see that the lastfm api is actually returning a proper response in the network tab, but the activity itself is not actually appearing

the issue is that Discord pushed shitcode to production

trying to look up application assets of any app will result in a 404 Not Found error

application assets are these images. you upload them to your discord app, then later fetch them and discord gives you an id that you send in the presence

but because of this bug it can't look up the assets of any app so it errors trying to set presence

the reason some people still have working presence is because Discord caches application assets for a while and those people have the icons of that application cached
