I may have been doin this solution for a bit, but I found that if you have OpenAsar installed, uninstall it and discord should seem to not infinitely load/startup anymore

Issue: I'm trying to get userplugins/custom plugins on vesktop. The issue is that trying to load vencord from source just doesn’t work.
What I’m doing: Open settings → Go to vesktop settings → Scroll down to vencord location → Press change → Input /home/omni/Downloads/files/Misc/Discord/Vencord/src/ as the location → Press ok → Restart vencord (Closing and reopening it, pressing restart in discord, pressing restart in the tray icon, etc..) → Go to plugins → Search for ‘logger’ → Only messagelogger pops up, not enhanced. My path to message logger: /home/omni/Downloads/files/Misc/Discord/Vencord/src/userplugins/vc-message-logger-enhanced/.
What I have tried:

1. Restarting my computer
2. Removing and readding the path
3. Running it through the command line
4. Repairing vencord
5. Trying all path variations (Such as only /Vencord, /Vencord/src, /Vencord/dist, etc..)
6. Deleting vencord (The custom built version), rebuilding it, (Yes, I made sure to run pnpm install --frozen-lockfile), and reading the path.
7. Resetting vesktop, uninstalling it through flatpak, reinstalling it while making sure to uncheck the install from old vencord files (I forgot what it’s called), reading the location.
   I do not know what else I should or even can do. Please help, I am at a loss. I have attached my specs and all other useful information to this message. (Fwi: There is no mention of it in the console or when I run it through cmd). Thanks!

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

My themes broke and now I can't open settings or disable them

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup

that doesnt fully remove discord. do this:

1. close discord from your system tray by clicking on the up arrow in your taskbar & right clicking the discord logo and clicking quit discord. close any browser discord tabs too, and then check your task manager and make sure all instances of discord are closed there as well.
2. win key & r at the same time & paste %AppData%/Discord & hit the return key
3. delete the discord folder
4. win key & r at the same time & paste %LocalAppData%/Discord & hit the return key
5. delete the discord folder
6. empty recycling bin & restart pc
7. redownload discord
8. install vencord again to this new discord install
