1. Open your terminal app
2. Type sudo
3. Drag VencordInstaller.app into your terminal
4. Append /Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller
5. The final input should now look something like this. Double check that you have everything correctly, especially the space.

6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!

if the ctrl + shift + i keybind doesn't work, it's likely because a different program conflicts with the keybind. This is most commonly the AMD Radeon Software. If you have that, disable keybinds in it (see the video below)

Your Discord seems to have installed in the wrong place. This could be due to a variety of issues.

To fix it, click the "Take me there!" button and follow the instructions in the dialog.

1. Make sure discord is fully closed in task manager (or tray)
2. Press "take me there"
3. If the folder is named after your username, delete it
4. Reinstall Discord
5. Try installing vencord again

it could've been an update that was pushed out to you that's causing it

i ask that you try it on a client without vencord first, and then come back if it an issue, and list your /vencord-plugins

@royal trail if you install thru snap store its more of a pain in the ass imo to patch using vencord, if you download the package from discord directly and dpkg -i discord.0.0 it will automatically find the path and make life a bit easier edit: flathub not snap im dumb

I already made a post about it but it was ghosted
so basically the Spotify Crack plugin works when it comes to listen along, but ads are still being played
That wasn't the case earlier and I suspect this started happening after trying Spotify on phone which obviously didn't have the plugin

I discovered there isexist alternatives Discord clients, heard about Vencord and OpenSar... installend Vencord and here I am, with my question:
Does Vencord directly include OpenSar?

From what I could read Vencord include (or can include) OpenSar to increase data control/privacy but I don't think I properly understand the difference between the two

appears to be an issue with vencord on the latest release of discord on arch linux (0.0.70). trying to launch discord with vencord installed will cause it to hang on the startup screen, close and open a new window, then crash completely. Here is what I found in the journalctl:
