Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

please try a clean reinstall of discord with these steps below:

1. close discord from your system tray by clicking on the up arrow in your taskbar & right clicking the discord logo and clicking quit discord. close any browser discord tabs too, and then check your task manager and make sure all instances of discord are closed there as well.
2. win key & r at the same time & paste %AppData%/Discord & hit the return key
3. delete the discord folder
4. win key & r at the same time & paste %LocalAppData%/Discord & hit the return key
5. delete the discord folder
6. empty recycling bin
7. restart pc
8. redownload discord

and lastly, re install vencord and test again

it wasnt vencord issue, but i thought it was since it started happening since 2024 and thats when i started using it. so i thought it was vencord issue.

i got all drivers up to date, its just hardware acceleration that works bad on older ones.
