The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

If you're all up to date, try reinstalling with the installer anyway!

i am able to drag files from the Files gnome app into vesktop but when actually sending the message, the upload always seems to fail.

1. Open your terminal app
2. Type sudo
3. Drag VencordInstaller.app into your terminal
4. Append /Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller
5. The final input should now look something like this. Double check that you have everything correctly, especially the space.

sudo /Users/YourUsername/Downloads/VencordInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller

6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!
8. If you still get the same error, give your terminal app Full Disk Access and try again

Vesktop Crashing when i try sharing my screen. i use vesktop on the linux mint 21 distro

ok, the lastfm plugin doesn't really work if you have spotify connection status enabled on your profile, im guessing recent discord updates mean it doesnt like receiving 2 listening to statuses anymore. Can an option that's the inverse of Hide with Spotify be added? (i.e. disable spotify status while lastfm song recognised). Otherwise I have to leave the status off permanently
