Hi! Windows desktop version of the app, didn't have this issue before today. Discord pulled down an update, then proceeded to take like 2 mins to start up (was on a gray screen for that time), it was so slow I thought it was dead. Even going to the settings menu in the app took 1 or 2 minutes.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Vencord fixed it, posting so others can see. I didn't see anything mentioned about this with a quick search.

I was a long time betterdiscord user, and recently switched over to vencord because BD was just too slow for my liking.
I was only really using a couple plugins that vencord basically had, and I had a decent amount of custom CSS that was easily copied over.
however, I noticed that one of the things had stopped working a while ago, and I haven't noticed until now.
when someone posts multiple images or videos, you know how it goes into a mosaic? I actually like the mosaic, but what I don't like is how it crops the images.
previously it was as easy as a object-fit: contain, but upon further inspection, discord started using a separate href to a square thumbnail, which I'm 99% sure css alone can't change.
I've never written a plugin before, how easy would it be to do? (unless there's some css magic but I really doubt it)
alternatively, would it be possible for it to eventually get added to the NoMosaic plugin as an option, rather than removing the mosaic entirely?

3. Make sure you are in the discord folder, if not, go there

4. ctrl+a and delete (aka, delete everything in the folder)

6. Delete the discord folder

7. Now open discord

• If it works, cool, install vencord
• If not: reinstall discord, install vencord

Trying the solution on the website does not work (I do not have the button in the security tab) and the sudo chown command return "operation not permitted" errors

4. Append /Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller
5. The final input should now look something like this. Double check that you have everything correctly, especially the space.

6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
