However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

I use Microsoft Edge as my browser, and I use Vencord browser edition for my Discord. I've set sleeping tabs to a very long time, and excluded Discord from ever sleeping, but Discord still won't remain constantly up. I have the plugin that tells me if I get removed from servers, as well as pretty much any plugin that shows you stuff like that, but the problem is I don't know what happened because Discord will "reset" if you get what I mean

Is there a way I could just make Discord in my browser to like, literally always run?

Basically this seems like an arch based specific issue. The voice quality sounds considerably worse compared
to discord's official client. Disabling noise suppression under Voice & Video seems to mitigate the issue, however the loss in quality is still quite noticeable.

Unfortunately, I don't see a custom built plugin under the Plugins section of Vesktop.

What I did:

• cloned from master, built an rpm with pnpm package --linux rpm and installed it
• cloned the plugin under src/userplugins:

1. Open your terminal app
2. Type sudo
3. Drag VencordInstaller.app into your terminal
4. Append /Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller
5. The final input should now look something like this. Double check that you have everything correctly, especially the space.

sudo /Users/YourUsername/Downloads/VencordInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller

6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!
8. If you still get the same error, give your terminal app Full Disk Access and try again

Reinstalling is excessive. All that is needed is reset Vencord settings by either temporarily relocating or deleting the settings and then reconfigure it as needed.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
