I'm using presence.nvim with arrpc and webrichpresence(arrpc) plugin
the server shows the socket connection succeded and connected to web and neovim also shows activity is set for <file> but no presence is shown in discord

I use my laptop

I unlock it
Vesktop hangs on this screen
I need to relaunch Vesktop
%80 of the time it logs me out of the account i'm logged in so i have to login again

You can only use plugins made specifically for Vencord.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Looked at GitHub the setting seems to be Settings.store.steamOSLayoutVersion and I think if I set that below 2 it'll re-prompt, how would I go about setting that

Just in case someone else has the same issue in the future the setting is located in state.json in /home/deck/.var/app/dev.vencord.Vesktop/config/vesktop/ change the 2 to some other number and it should prompt you to setup steam deck controls again
