when using vencord (desktop), my whole discord runs very badly. some servers don't load at all, images and videos load very slowly and message take up to 1 min to send. but my internet connection is running all fine and when using discord in browser, it works also as well.

this happens in kinda "waves". e.g. for a few min it works fine and everything loads, in the next minutes it just completely stops working

If you ran the command it tells you and it still doesn't work, try running the Vencord Installer as administrator.

Hi. I'm having issue that Discord freezes/unloads while minimized. It can take even up to 10 seconds after reopening window for it to start responding again. Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

pipewire is a multimedia server, not just audio

it powers screen capture, audio, video routing, etc

if you're using wayland then you're using pipewire capturer to screen capture

How can I determine the title class name? The inspect element picker doesn't highlight UI elements. The title at the top of the channel is capitalised, but I assume the one in the windows title bar is not stylable?

Your Discord seems to have installed in the wrong place. This could be due to a variety of issues.

To fix it, click the "Take me there!" button and follow the instructions in the dialog.

1. Make sure discord is fully closed in task manager

2. Press "take me there"

3. ctrl+a and delete (aka, delete everything in the folder)

4. Go back a folder (outside of the "discord" folder, it'll either be "ProgramData" or your windows username)

5. Delete the "discord" folder

6. Now open discord

• If it works, cool, install vencord
• If not: reinstall discord, install vencord

Hello, I've had vencord for a while and I haven't been able to remove a certain theme I've had. I've tried repairing it and even uninstalling and reinstalling but this certain theme always stays on. I've also checked in my theme folder but it just doesn't show up.

I believe you would have to uninstall Vencord first if you haven’t and see if Discord will revert its self. I’m not a staff but it should work if not wait for a staff to respond.
