Hello, I noticed something on Vesktop. When I speak into the microphone during a call, the audio comes out fine. However, when I use the microphone testing options, the microphone doesn't work for them. This happens both in the noise suppressor and in the Voice and Video option.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

If you ran the command it tells you and it still doesn't work, try running the Vencord Installer as administrator.

To do so, open a terminal and type sudo /path/to/VencordInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller, changing /path/to with the path where you saved the installer to.

enable notification badge in vesktop settings and make sure discord notification settings are set up like they should be, you could also try setting it to show for all messages and see if that works, if not, it's an os issue

I don't know if this is a bug or if there is something wrong with my install, but whenever Vencord gets an in app update, it breaks Openasar and the Vencord installer has to be opened to reinstall it. Im on Windows 10 Pro (22h2) with discord stable

Is there a way to have custom rpc only start when I open a specifi application (a modded version of elden ring) and have it start the time i have been playing it from when i open the game. Also is there a way for me to have it say "for x time" instead of just having the time elapsed? I basically want to get it as close to the normal one as possible but am using vencord since the game won't be picked up by discord since it's a modded version
