Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Okay so I did some minor digging around since I'm guessing my question was too vague.

When using the 'SpotifyCrack' plugin I noticed that the 'Listen Along' session would terminate itself at what seems to be a random period of time (30 seconds to 3 minutes being the range it seems). The longer end of the range is usually because the 'listen along' session would reconnect.

I'm not really an expert in networking stuff or js, but I noticed that the websocket connection fails. I just want to understand if there's anything I can do to make it work without premium (though that seems unlikely)

So, does the websocket connection to the dealer.spotify.com thingy with the access token have nothing to do with the spotifycrack plugin (I assume yes) and that the plugin isn't able to start a new listen along session once the previous one gets terminated?

I think it's more of a Firefox issue than a Vencord issue. QuickCSS will still load if you export your settings from another client and import them as a JSON file.

Updates stay the same, it's auto. If you use vesktop you don't need to worry but if you use the client you'll have to rebuild dev shell everytime vencord/discord updates
