I accidentally pasted 2 different theme links into the online themes section. My discord is broken I can't open the settings and I can't delete themes.

Chances are it's like that in vanilla discord, or the emoji is from the server you're in

discord backend doesn't check if you actually have nitro when your client sends request to change the vc status containing nitro emojis
for everywhere else it checks, this is a bug and they might fix it in the future

your client sends message to discord and then discord checks if message contains nitro emojis and if so it verifies that your account has nitro
for vc status they forgot to add the check

This message is misleading. Run sudo chown -R "${USER}:wheel" /Applications/Discord.app in your terminal, then run the installer again afterwards.

You may also need to grant Terminal.app (and friends) full disk access for the operation to work properly.

RESOLVED

Discord is flickering , completely disappearing for short duration (less than a second) then reappearing again. Doesn't seem to be tied to pressing buttons or anything else. Sometimes stops entirely, sometimes flickers so often that it's barely usable, cant really find the cause. Might be related to themes, cause that only happens with theme installed (?), need to test that, will do soon. Really hard to catch on record, but i'll try. (For some reason when i start RECORDING (keeping it open doesn't do anything) with OBS it always stops? Maybe unlucky but 5 tries) I did caught that with my camera though. (On video looks like entire screen is flashing but its just Discord's window)

Vencord Desktop, I'm on Archlinux (Wayland+Hyprland), more info attached. Checked for errors, seems like all of them are complaining about Spotify API

upd. Not this exact theme's issue, changed it to different one, same effect. Might be related to transparency somehow. (I use https://betterdiscord.app/theme/Translucence )

upd. Disabling themes seems like fixing it, but due to random nature of this occurrence, kinda need more time.

SOLUTION - Don't buy nvidia cards ever again, and rollback to 535 proprietary drivers. This bug also affects many games.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
