Discord fixed their issue with images getting converted to webp losing quality. In the future this plugin can be re-purposed to keep images format as the original, but that requires more than just removing part of the Discord code, and a bit of study to make sure it does not cause issues.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Vencord is uninstalled the same way you install it. Just use the "Uninstall" button instead

then use your package manager to remove it

its very likely that its called vesktop or vencord

try searching it through there

Found it, I only searched up vencord not vesktop.

after opening vesktop today, no external links are opening the client but open the base discord install instead any tips?

don't know if It's a Vencord issue, but opening up the screensharing menu by clicking the share my screen button has become laggy and takes a bit to load, it crashes Discord every other time

I updated Windows, but I don't think that's the issue
