screenshare audio on linux is not implemented in chromium so it's not normally possible

vesktop works around this limitation by running a binary that interfaces with pipewire (your system's audio server) and creates a virtual microphone that plays back your app's/system's audio, then includes this microphone in your screenshare

doing that is not possible on the normal discord app due to various reasons

Let’s customize your experience!” allowing me to choose my Discord Branch and some checkbox options to Start with System, Rich Presence, Import Settings, Minimize to Tray. I click “Submit” and my logs show ‘arRPC > ipc’ server starting. It pops a window letting me log in. I log in and it works

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Hello! I've been having this issue with Vencord for a while now
I believe ever since Discord modified (and then reverted the changes to) the client, Vencord's plugins have stopped working entirely.

I still see Vencord's own section in the Settings, including the list of plugins with the toggles for them, but none of them do anything even after a restart.
I have gone as far as to make sure I had the latest version available, getting it fresh off the website, but still it refuses to work, even after attempting the Reinstall/Repair feature to be absolutely sure.
is there anything else I should try?
