• It seems to be an issue exclusive to Windows. You could try switching to Linux

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

I usually use the app version of discord, and decided to enable DevTools on it through a button on the top right. This made the app crash, and now everytime I try and open it, it says discord has crashed(which it does), trying to recover, et cetera et cetera. I restarted my pc, reinstalled discord, reinstalled vencord and left it like this for like 15-20 minutes. The browser version still works, but like I said, I usually use the app version and I prefer it. I couldn't find anything really on this online either, knowing my luck there's gonna be a very easy solution but I just can't see it. Oh well

Hey! I have Vencord patcher on Mac M1. I patched Discord Desktop. I have two problems.

First problem is that every now and then the patched discord resets to normal discord, and i have to open the Vencord patcher and repair/patch it again. Is there any way to make vencord permanent?

Second problem: My scrolling is a bugged since I moved to Vencord. What i mean by that is, if i were to scroll in this thread to see some older messages it would work, but it would constantly return me to a certain part and I'd have to scroll up multiple times until it doesn't return me. And it happens constantly. Is this usual, or is this only my problem?
