is there microphone volume issues currently in vesktop? i checked the issues tab on the GitHub page and didn't see any problems reported but my microphone seems to be quieter than when using ven patched discord and web discord although all of the voice settings are the exact same between them all. I did see a feature request last month that claims that vesktop changes the system volume of the input device when the loudness is above a certain threshold but didn't want to automatically assume that was the problem or how much truth there was in that statement. not a huge deal but wanted to report this in case it was a potential problem

so for some reason the theme isnt working as it does for him (I believe he just stuck with BD figuring it wont matter which client mod is used for themes)

Hi, I noticed that quite often my streams are full of a bunch of gray-ish squares (unless in zones where the image is still, like some hud). I don't seem to have the same issue when using the unpatched Discord client... I also tried removing FakeNitro (which I thought it could be the issue because of the stream fps and quality changes). This is a stock Discord issue. There is nothing we can do

However, here are some solutions that should work:

• Many people have stated that opening devtools while Discord is still loading prevents the crashing
• Devtools work fine in Vencord's custom client, Vesktop, or just your web browser - you can use the Vencord browser extension
• It seems to be an issue exclusive to Windows. You could try switching to Linux

i think the error is with your plugins or something, i am not too good at these. maybe one of the plugins overrideed another thing u enable or something (this can happen if you have many experimentals features on)

Hello. I’m using the lastfm rich presence plugin along side richer cider plug in. I noticed that when I’m using cider and after cider’s rich presence status on discord gets cleared, last.fm rich presence status gets stuck, even when no more scorbblong data is showing on the last.fm site.

Any ideas what’s causing this? I usually have to restart discord for it to clear.

Hello guys, I have a question/ask for solution
since 1-2 months I'm facing with discord 5000 local ping issue, where im geting 5000 local ping and I cannot hear anyone but everyone elese can hear me and see my stream without any problems.
I was trying to contact with tech Discord support but they didn't help me at all, the conversation was like hitting a wall...
my internet is stable 1Gbps and every other apps/program etc works fine without any problems.
was testing discord mobile app with LTE same problem, I also tested discord app alpha/beta builds and vpn etc nothing helped
fun fact is that discord via web works fine also ARMCord modded app works fine without any problems.

My question is:
is there any possible solution with vencord to slove that problem? somne plugin for difrent connection protocol or something? I run out of ideas how to slove that problem
only what ik is that a problem with discord app for 100% not my internet or pc etc.

I installed Vesktop to try the audio sharing feature on Linux (I use arch btw) but me and a friend are having some trouble making the audio sharing feature to work and we're both out of ideas about what to do.

I'm sending the console output when trying to screenshare (the last 2 errors, it happens when i start and end the screenshare) alongside with neofetch to show relevant information about my rig and Linux details.

Another thing I want to add is that when I want to screenshare something I have to go through the process of choosing the image 2x like its shown in the images, and if I don't select anything or close the 2nd window the screenshare just stops.

Any idea on how to fix this?
