it’s for when you have channel permission setting perms in the first place: That’s on servers where you are owner or staffer. Discord then tries to prevent you from removing access from yourself

You will want to edit some old msg of yours, so you can mention without pinging or being seen

Hi, I started using vencord fakeNitro today, I'm wondering if there's a fix for emoji link showing when sending emoji of a different server along side text, it doesn't show if its alone though

from my testing, when it’s showing, it’s prbly a FakeNitro emoji, even when you have Nitro. You can check that with the ViewRaw plugin.

The reason being that discord does not normally allow posting of the emoji. One reason for that is that the channel perms forbid it, like in this channel here. No emoji from any other servers are allowed.

And i have another kind of case where i can’t (without FakeNitro) post the emojis from a certain server, idk why. Maybe the server has set its emojis to premium or something like that? The server is basically shutdown anyways (which is why i don’t have an invite at hand, but it’s a friend’s server, so i can get an invite if someone wants to investigate).

Anyway, would be good if there was an indication whether an emoji will be posted fake or real. E.g. by a border and bg color.

every time i install vencord on my flatpak discord i get this error when i load discord. the only way to fix it is to completely uninstall the discord flatpak and reinstall it, but once i apply vencord+openasar it comes back. distro is bazzite which is basically just fedora silverblue

I'm using the OpenAsar thing, and also many plugins, my discord or computer are not slow or loaded but my discord just randomly crashes, the window of the discord turns into the grey colour of the loading screen and then the loading screen loads for about 3 seconds and discord comes back to normal, it just disconnects me and reloads my client without me doing anything (to my knowledge) and then it rejoins the current call im in and its annoying... can someone help me try to figure out whats cause it?

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
