Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

This message is misleading. Run sudo chown -R "${USER}:wheel" /Applications/Discord.app in your terminal, then run the installer again afterwards.

You may also need to grant Terminal.app (and friends) full disk access for the operation to work properly.

Sadly, i'm encountering multiple problems with my client and 3rd party service. Randomly, out of nowhere, my client just reloads or crashes completely. It says something with java error. I don't know where the logs are lcoated tho.

Another problem is the game crashing when trying to stream. I tried reinstalling windows, discord and the game. I encountered this with multiple gpu's and drivers. When I try to stream the game directly it just closes after some seconds. Only with some games, e.g. Insurgency Sandstorm or Ready or not.

A third problem is me being unable to open the .exe
Also the shell installation doesnt work, since it tells me it's a virus. I dont know how I say that I still want to install it. The installer opens in the background, but it doesnt show anything. I tried an old installer, but that didnt work either.

A forth problem is that some plugins dont seem to work anymore, even though they're activated. Like image zoom.

I encountered quite the issue. Having Canary + Vencord running causes Fortnite specifically to crash with a "the system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application" error. It only happens with Vencord injected. Doesn't seem to be happening with Stable + Vencord.
