Hey. I see when I put vencord installer in virustotal, in relations tab, it says that it tried to execute "ssss.scr" file, which in turn is a notoriously known trojan.

I also have seen that this question was previously asked in here a couple of time and was buried with "false positive" answers which is totally invalid. ssss.scr from relations is NOT false positive. And I'm not talking about that 1 antivirus in virustotal flagging the installer as malware, I'm talking about sc.exe and ssss.scr.

What does the dev(s) have to say about that? And please, no need to pass me as a "noob". I know how to read a virus signature name 🙂

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

• Every time you make a change make sure you reload (ctrl + r)
• Sometimes toggling it off and on again is necessary (and reloading)
• Make sure Settings > Activity Privacy > "Display current activity as a status message" is toggled on

Can you see it and no one else can?

• if you've set a big image and/or a small image you need to fill in their respective tooltip field
• don't add any values to the unix timestamps
• emojis work, some unicode don't. try with just alphanumerics (0-1, A-z) first

Do you not see a preview of your intended RPC in plugin settings?

• Change your image link, the plugin is likely not able to extract the image from it

Am going to be shifting over to Linux some point soon and wanted to know if it was possible to have two/three different versions of vencord running without them clashing. Is mainly just because there is some code that needs to be ran in the QuickCSS for one of the themes but I don't want it on the other.

someone told me that due to discord limitation only bots can do watching or other stuff, and other third party softwares can only do playing

So when I send a voice message by using the plugin to upload a file, it doesn't load at all on mobile. Voice messages recorded on my laptop mic and sent through the plugin works as expected, loading and playing on all platforms, but for some reason if I click on upload file for voice messages it doesn't work. It loads and plays perfectly fine on PC tho.

discord's client side code only sends the playing and listening status (only for spotify), but it supports all other statuses still - there's just not a way to do it in the vanilla client

the plugin just makes it so the client can send the other statuses as well, there's no actual restriction stopping users from having those statuses

I'd like to report a bug with the pin dms plugin. If you are to pin DMs, and then close out anybody that is not in your pinned DMs, you won't be able to access their direct messages (Image one). If you scroll down, it gets worse. You will not be able to see your friends tab at all and the only way to fix it is to refresh discord. (Video 1)

If you open up somebodies DM, and try to scroll up and down, you get a weird visual glitch where you can briefly see your DMs showing up and then disappearing. (Video 2)

However, the bug sometimes fixes itself, and you suddenly for some reason get back to where you have your pinned DMs, as long as you have a dm that you do not have pinned.
