Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

Hrm, I use both Discord release and Discord canary for two different accounts. Is there a way to separate settings for things like Pinned DMs, etc?

Obviously the two accounts have different friends aand things

I think you would be able to set them apart by signing into vencloud individually

but im not sure how that would work with local storage

Hi, I installed vencord on my new laptop and tried to use the cloud backup to restore my settings from my pc (since I had already set up everything)
However I'm getting a failure saying it was unable to get OAuth configuration?

vencord locally stores settings in a shared folder for all clients

so there's no account separation

I'm unsure if it does but settings being retained across acounts just seems like undesirable behavior

vencloud can sort of solve it

because when it fetches the settings for your account it'll replace the local ones

and then when you switch accounts it'll get those settings instead

its just inconvenient
