The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows or vencord that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows or vencord system files and restore corrupted files. If a Windows or vencord Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows and vencord may not behave as expected.

Follow the below steps:

Right click on the Start button, click on Command Prompt (Admin).

Oh yeah since I like to report when I need to diagnose my install: had to just reinstall discord and it was a fairly simple reinstall and use the installer after for vencord. Also helpful (patched some corrupt stuff which likely complicated my old install).

if you download the vencord installer already pre-built for you off the github you'll get stock vencord
if you build your own vencord using the installation guide in the repo following the docs then you should reinject with that
