Yeah settings are saved in Discord's cloud. That's how mobile and desktop can keep synced settings. I actually really like that feature haha

Hello, I need help hiding folders in vencord, I requested it as a plugin and got a response that I can hide the folders using css, but I have absolutely no experience in that, could someone help me out with that? Thanks in advance ❤️

Step 2. open dev tools with Ctrl+shift+i
Step 3. Use the inspector tool. If you want more info about it there are loads of YouTube tutorials. If you hover over the folder you want hidden you can get its class name
Step 4. Open your quickCss.css in Vencord settings. Paste in the name of the class of the folder you want hidden with display none. Something like

 .folder-class-goes-here {
    display: none;
}

The css file should automatically change discord without you needing to reload or anything

If it doesn't work it's time to troubleshoot. My guess is all your folders might vanish if you aren't specific enough with your class selector? I would test this but I'm on my phone rn

Key things:

• it's hard to really break anything while doing this so don't be afraid to experiment
• worst case you can just delete everything in the css file and it'll go back to normal
• once you get the hang of it you can make anything you want disappear or change color or animate. It's a cool skill to have imo

new vencord desktop v0.2.0 installer isnt working properly for me

on run with having vencord desktop open will just focus on the app and do nothing
on run without having vencord desktop open will launch v0.2.0 but with no install gui
