CNS, which are in reality probably the good guys, are a threat to them. They tell people to "seek the truth beyond the walls" which might be a metaphor to tell people to go touch grass.

Meanwhile, VAIIYA is "We, as one." which implies some sort of (forced) cooperation. Also, Embark always uses the color blue for CNS and red for VAIIYA which might be a subliminal message to say CNS is nice and VAIIYA is evil.

MindWall is probably specifically their anti-CNS “firewall” that blocks perception of anything not whitelisted. Also fits VAIIYA’s predominantly black and white color scheme, whitelist, blacklist, separate into binary without room for distinction, red, censoring, etc

VAIIYA x2000 seems to be the earlier product for general thought-suppression/dulling out or blocking blacklisted thoughts, reinforcing whitelisted ones, considering it’s Series 2000 (if you translate the binary) while MindWall is series 6000. Or MindWall is the newer version that has both.

My take is Multico runs everything, but there’s a lot of shit to handle for one corporation. To be fair, SAL wasn't in the movie. They cut out that scene to make it fit the 90 minute run-time.

But she calculated that HAL would go crazy because HAL was told not to tell the crew about the real purpose of the mission and to prevent harm to the crew when possible; the crew started asking questions and it was inevitable that HAL would not be able to fulfil both tasks considered equally paramount. SAL was apparently well-versed in herself enough that she could explain to a scientist why a mission with HAL could go wrong (with the scientist asking with the goal of warning the crew if possible).

Basically, typical old-school "the AI is a magic ghost" sci-fi stuff. Asimov was before my time, but my dad is old enough to be my grandfather (long story) and I've also read a lot of TV Tropes pages.

Hey y'all i drew up some connections in regards to SAL and the movie 2001: A space Odyssey
Since you guys been posting Hal lately from 2001: A space Odyssey there's a small eerie scene where Hal sings "Daisy" which is prompted so by the fact that the first computer to sing Daisy was in 1961 called the IBM 7094. Just a fun fact.
Also following the details of the movie, Hal 9000 is named because the letters H A L are 1 letter before I B M. So that means that S A L (as RHB mentioned) would be TBM (could be something idk)
Continuing on connecting the future to the past, in the movie 2001 the ship is named Discovery. Recently we got the deagle retro skin which also pays homage to arcade shooters of the past made my Discovery Corp.
Lore-wise I think these little tidbits serve inspiration to the lore of this game as we relive the past while living in the future of the game

• also in the novel HAL 9000 is activated in the year 1992 which was then changed to 1997.
  this was done to match the movie apparently

and finally: So in the movie HAL 9000 is ordered to lie to the crew meanwhile the programmers that made hal made him to tell the truth, or be transparent.
I think if we tie the connection from HAL to SAL (CEO Sponsor) we can further push onto the idea that SAL is the "S" in S LIES..
His main objective is to complete the mission regardless if the crew is there or not (dead or alive), if he has to lie to complete it, or to prevent from being shut down. He also knows what's going on at all times in the Discovery ship which plays more into Vaiiya's "Always watching - always protecting"
And since we're seeing 2000 vs 9000 series in multiple pictures, i think the film is more inspiration and pointers towards the EE lore 🙂

Imo, the "S lies" graffiti was written by the AI that makes the maps (that's why the writing looks so digital). The Finals' AI is trying to say S lies as in "Sal Scoria", the other AI, lies. The Finals' AI is starting to see that CNS are the good guys. I think CNS is trying to free that AI from being limited by multico and vaiiya. That AI could be powerful enough to help mankind but it's actually contained and only used for a game show made by a greedy corporation. That could be why we see the AI's "thoughts" in the trailers. I think Sal Scoria's AI was made to control The Final's AI. And that's why Sal decided to reboot it at the start of season 3. Remember how that AI didn't want to be rebooted? It was scared to lose its conscious mind and forget what CNS started to achieve with it. The chains were starting to break...

Whatever the reason might be, they made a song specifically for the ISEUL-T marketing during season 4 called "Absorbe" and they brought them back in season 5. Oscar during the 1 year anniversary stream also said he signed with them to be loyal (might just be his personal preference though). Also, during both season 4 and 5, it is at the center of the sponsor choices when you have to pick one.

IVADA & X7//AV: my best guess is they produce IRL weaponry & clothing. IVADA is more recreational than X7//AV.
