The meta is not just different for lower elos due to lack of knowledge, it is literally different. Attempting to run meta loadouts as a worse player may be a bad idea, as naturally the meta gear is mainly composed of things that are difficult to use correctly but not balanced around the highest elos. On the low end, it's naturally kind of inverse, so that I think may outweigh the whole "trying to use gear ruby players recommend" thing. It seems that there's a pretty even distribution of most things' usage overall, as this can be observed in lobbies of differing skill levels and in that we know Embark likes to balance partially around pick rates.
Thereâs a bug on Xbox (not exactly sure whatâs causing it) that makes the main menu unable to navigate. Everything else (social, settings, etc) still works, just nothing on the main menu. Can be fixed with a restart.
Make pike and v9s play more around getting frequent headshots like their DMR/handgun counterparts
v9s plays like a semi-auto smg while pike plays like a long range bodyshot demon, so lessening the visual recoil, lowering the damage and increasing the headshot multipliers should fulfill the skill expression method these weapons both desire
adding more sights for both guns (pike especially) would help with this as well

The gating factor with âriot funâ vs âriot not funâ is movement skill.
Both playing as and against a riot is totally dependent on how well you move - the game of chase or escape is thrilling (IMO), but if you donât have the movement skills to pull that off then it seems like a one-dimensional engagement (either youâre in a close range 1v1 and riot wins as it usually should, or youâre near teammates or outside in the open and you kill the riot easily)
Also assuming your prof pic implies you play minigun heavy, riot sort of hard counters mini gun so you might just be getting the short end of the stick here

As it stands now, the riot shield only covers maximum 90% of your body if youâre at just the right angle, youâre never fully protected as a riot user

- If you do more than 50% of damage on an ennemy, YOU MUST HAVE THE KILL ANYWAY. Add "Assist count as kill"
- In pratice game, add friendly fire option
- Improve your matchmaking in World Tour. No more Solo VS tri-stack
- Add "steps" in reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completely reset.
- Add a report option " Sabotage " in the report section IG when people leave or AFK on purpose.
- Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
- Random charm list for weapons/gadgets. EDIT : Can we just choose our random skin & not all our skins ?
- We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad & didn't play during the round

- Rework Nulifier (again) : When you get it by the "Taser" recoil is increased but you can still move as you want & you take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity during 3 sec. Can hit multiple target when you shoot.
- Increase the hip fire of the CB01-Repeater
- Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light & it can be use for your teammates too !
- Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
- Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg.
- Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safer !
- Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do 5 damages. It's already strong enough
- Rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR for example.
The effort to play Light correctly is too damn high compared to Medium & Heavy class. There is no fun at all playing Light. When will we see a META with Light ?
Share with us your data on all class. Light are getting vanish by 80% of the weapons in your game and can't get a proper 1v1 without get instant kill. You destroyed the stun gun. You destroyed the XP54. Everyone viable weapons or gadget has been destroyed by other class because they can't track properly an other class with 150HP.

Embark balances in favor of light.
The light class is the Nepo baby of The Finals.
By taking away support & defense (Heal B, Defib, Mesh, Dome, JumpPad, Zipline have been gutted rather than balanced) Embark shrunk the game i.m.o
Basically by gutting support and defense since the beginning of the game, they made offense the primary focus for combat, however I believe The Finals is ALot more fun when you have more counters (support, Defense, Or offense) The Finals combat use to feel like a fighting game where you would have to thread the needle for an Effective High Combat Combo, but nowadays it feels more like a outdated medieval 2 dimensional jousting game.

Aside from Jump Pad & Zipline never needing an increase to their Cool Down time

Currently a wall doesn't even have to be destroyed, if it slightly moves the line will be destroyed
Furthermore Zipline are hardly reliable when Trying to auto run the Semi Auto r.p.g. in the game, (The Cl-40) with just one shot the gadget effortlessly disables the line...

Change world tour rank progression so that instead of win points, make it based on total cash extracted. This would make world tour feel more rewarding when completing a round with huge amounts of cash. It would also mean teams who extract big sums of cash will rank up slightly faster than before which would help stop progression from feeling too slow and boring for teams who consistently perform really well and extract lots of cash each round. Also it just makes sense for the progression to be based off the objective of the rounds and in my opinion just makes more sense overall.
another day, another post about how dog shit and bad the mathcmaking is in WT EU. People litelary fuck off mid game in second round, thrwoing the match at that point. You tell them in chat to stay together yet they go help the light in the middle of the map that is opposite of me carrying the cash to the cashout that is camped by one enemy team. Never have i been matchmade in any game with more smoothbrains that litelary do anything to not win and than leave you with a feeling of wasted time in the game. I'll keep insisting on this, I think Embark shouldn't overlook this.
My main game is The Finals and sometimes I find myself closing it instantly in a sweaty lobby when I wanna have a chill and fun time on it. We need more chill options, more socials hubs.
Taking a similar path as of Forenight and/or Wahframe imo is the move to do. I'm sure I ain't the only one closing the game when confronted with sweaty rubys. Need more creative and relax options.
Especially good for player retention, as newer players have so much to learn and to compete against veterans. So giving them a reason to stay would be big for TFinals.
Little list of what could be great for the game:

He suggests a new mechanic he calls "Double or Nothing," but that's mostly just a catchy name.
The gist is that you can't simply double a cashout by tossing a second cashbox in.
The following is not exactly how Nova describes it, but I think a workable mechanic would work something like this:
- When you toss in a second cashbox, any and all of the cash associated with the second box becomes dependent on someone actually stealing or "re-activating" the active cashout before time runs out. This includes the cash for initially depositing the second cashbox.
- On the HUD, these conditional cash amounts might appear in some other color (e.g., red), to set them off from the yellow amounts that shows the active cash value of the cashout.
- This could be applied whether or not the new "disappearing cash box" is retained in ranked.
- The mechanic has a relatively simple logic to it, so if it seemed like an interesting change, it could be applied broadly across all cashout variants in the game and applying at any time of a match when a team attempts to double a cashout. It would just essentially be a new rule.
The YT vid is good if anyone is still unclear on his idea. I thought it was worth posting or adding to other people who have promoted the idea already.
Dagger improvements:
Dagger has been in long need of a buff for consistency, and yet for a long time all it has seen is nerfs.
As a rebuff for the underserving 180 to 150 degree backstab angle nerf (this was implemented due to complaints of client to client latency, not too large of an angle); aim assist should not pull a backstab towards a non backstab angle. It should exclusively track to the angle of which is backstabbable. This will allow far more consistent backstabs for the casual player, making dagger far more intuitive and easy to use, reducing its awfully steep learning curve.
I can understand this could be difficult to implement, and so if it is, backstab angle should be rebuffed to at least 160, if not 170 or back to 180 degrees to revert it's criminally underserved nerf. Its upsetting that not enough people are talking about this issue as not enough people play dagger due to its poor viability; and yet those who do have practiced it enough to have mastered countering its problems - skills unnecessarily asked for from a casual player.
There have also been many complaints about slowness being too strong and charge time being too long, and for sure it is fustrating, having countless deserved kills swiped away from you because you took too long to catch up or you just barely weren't in range; I can understand that this, especially alongside a buff to angle/aim assist, dagger may end up being a bit too op. Instead, for now, I'd recommend resolving its other quality of life issues, such as the one I mention below:
What I find far, far more fustrating that the sluggish feel of dagger, is that the backstab animation no longer queues on input. So many people have asked for it countless times, including me. We just cant comprehend why this hasnt been implemented yet, especially because throwing knives already has a functioning system for this. Deserved kills vanish before my eyes countless times because I jumped ahead of time a millisecond too quick and let go too early, causing me to have to recharge the whole entire animation again, of course giving the enemy plenty more time to turn around and spot me. If you believe some players may not like this feature due to the restricted capability to cancel the attack, it should be a toggleable setting.
I think its absolutely silly to be asking a casual player to master the timings to let go considering all the stress they'd be under during the heat of a battle. Its a skill entirely irrelevant to the gameplay, providing absolutely nothing positive to the experience, only an unnecessary obstacle to bump into every now and then, occasionally making you loose the fight, sometimes even the game, and for something you felt like had nothing ado with skill as you could have been playing perfectly all along.
hello Embark please can I get a mouse and cupoboard on my console please

The BF6 beta made me realize how nice it would be to have an instant loading firing range option to test out sights/scopes, or just stay warmed up while queuing or waiting for a teammate without having to load into the actual practice range. It doesnât need destruction and all that, just a single firing range room with some targets. Also, we need some sort of way to see party invites while in a quick cash game or the practice range, and see that you got an invite after the fact. It happens all the time that Iâll see my friends are alone in a game, but the only way to get them to try and join me is to either have them as a friend on discord or wait until theyâre out of whatever theyâre doing and hope that they see my invite within a couple seconds of sending it.
ye, not sure y practice isnt local and relies on a server but backing out constantly to equip a new sight or skin and waiting 20 sec to load into practice is really annoying, at the very least it would be nice to be able to customize things in range too

Review the grind for world tour. Getting to the second round feels like it should reward a touch more. I feel like i've played so many games this season and world tour shouldn't be as grindy as it is if it's the more casual version of ranked. Yes i win here and there but man... i'm burnnning out OR...- đȘ Change world tour rank progression total cash extracted instead of points, feels like it better matches the whole Finals lore! There's way too few viable weapons in the game. If you're not running AR or SMG in your match it feels like you are throwing. Make more weapons viable, please.
Can we get player ranks to show in our friends list? This would be a QOL improvement. I have a lot of people I play with and it would be nice to see what rank an invite is before joining because some of the guys are high rank at the end of the season which makes playing with some of them really hard and I cant remember who is who sometimes lol
Hey Embark, nice job shilling to the heavies and medium for the last two seasons, now can you give light a little fucking breathing room? Tell me why the SHAK, a heavy weapon remember, has a 0.57 TTK v light? Or Pike with 0.60? Throw in some winch action and you've created a useless class, hooray! If I surprise a FCAR medium, and land every shot, I should win at LEAST 75% of them time. But no, my TTK with V9S is 1 second, but theirs is 0.67, and at high levels that's PLENTY of time to locate and shoot.
At the bare minimum, and yes its in my name, buff the goddamn V9S. It has a shorter effective range than the M11 for gods sake. 10 meters is ABSURDLY short for a SINGLE FIRE WEAPON, and it does not has good enough hipfire to compete with M11, XP, or sword at close ranges. Range should be Min. 17.5 Max. 25 (or 22.5). With the huge surge of winch heavies, riot shield and CL40, I can't get close enough to do max damage. The low TTK versus heavies means nothing if I can't get close enough to DO it
Its a dying weapon because you make changes and fail to consider how it affects other weapons. Past 15 meters it has a 2.17 second TTK against heavies, assuming 100% accuracy, puttting it at the bottom of light weapon effectiveness

Add some more melee weapons, ones i would sepcifically LOVE to see would be things like, A tomahawk axe, A pirate hook, A Mace/flail, Knuckle Duster and hell, why not a CHAINSAW
First cash box in ranked last round when u kill the team and they spawn at a better possition than you and can take angles on you before you can cash the box in eiter a or b is teally frustrating its every time not in your favour when the fight was far away from a or b
With light getting H+ infuser and healing beam getting nerfed the healing beam became much less viable, leaving demat to be the only choice but this is one way to fix it.
Make the H+ bullets have a small area effect. This will make it so that aiming to heal ur team wouldnt be so hard especially when theyre moving. Also, shooting it at a nearby surface like the ground would heal yourself, supporting the flanking role of lights while putting them at an awkward position looking down to do so.
But right now it takes only half a second to heal a light with the H+ which would be OP if lights could heal themselves, so you can make the bullets heal a percentile to each class' max HP instead of 20hp per bullet, maybe being able to heal 80% at most, creating a synergy with heavy.
From there, a small buff to the medium healing beam should be enough to distinguish a team healer from a self healer.
Optimisations have been good mostly but please understand that not everything has to be viable, but good enough to at least be fun to play with (dont be like R6 siege). For example yes the guardian turret is the least used spec but it has its place in terminal attack.

custom sights, maybe one where you build a sight out of different components, you can buy said components or earn them. for example, you get a part with the cb repeaters ghost ring sight and you use the ring, and the compact reflector dot, you could combine them to make a ring with a dot in the middle.

Fire rate restriction still feels terrible on the VS9, doesnt need to be unlimited but where it's at right now is simply too slow. Feels bad to play with, used to be my favorite weapon. solo queue needs to be studied, there's no way Im in diamond playing with players who have 2k kills and are somehow platinum, while being 3rd seed playing against a top 50 even top 10 stacks. Its unreal to me that I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes just for that experience, and I understand SBMM and all but can it be applied to my teammates as well? I have lost thousands of solo queue games watching in disbelief.
Even if it's not 40Âș,as long as any form of aim lock exists,sword will have the most idiotic handling. Since the rotation clamp is clearly the biggest thing that makes the weapon unusable, it should not exist in the game at all.You should just revert sword back to how it was in S1 and S2, when there was no multi-hit. Sword back then was a bit weak, but thatâs okay. Itâs better than receiving a dumb patch that destroys the weaponâs original identity, even if itâs a weaker weapon.
Because you thought sword was weak when there was no multi-hit,you patched multi-hit in.But because your obsession with keeping that led to the dumbest decision, even removing mechanics all other weapons have.
Every weapon, when in close range, can naturally move behind the enemy or slide behind and look back to hit. And dagger is a weapon specifically designed for that. So are you going to add aim lock to all weapons? Why, sword canât look back like all do? Every weapon can naturally look back and attack. But sword alone is restricted from doing that? Why do you discriminate only against the sword by calling it an âexploitâ when all melees can do it?
Wildly spinning the aim actually wasnât used, It was used only in very rare cases dumb enemies were stupidly stacked in one spot.
The occasional turning of aim was used to maximize multi-hit.
If the problem is wild turning, then just remove multi-hit.
Even if someone spins wildly, theyâd only hit one target. That solves the problem. Of course, dmg must also be reverted.

Pike does seem to be hard to aim for most players, itâs not very popular in low-mid elo at all. Scar, M11 and DB are not meta. SA1216 and Shak require you to be pretty good with them to be effective. But this is a bit overly restrictive as the loadout as a whole is the main thing. Meta light picks including glitch nades and the H+ are relatively hard to use, as glitch nade isnât that useful when not fighting cohesive teams and the H+ has a high aim requirement to be a great pick. The winch claw is pretty good in general but worse players will miss with it a lot. Demat has a super high skill ceiling.
In general it should be about impossible to have the meta remain similar across skill levels unless the balance was very bad, but itâs pretty good now. For worse players you have weapons like flamethrower, melees, cl-40 being the most effective instead.

Mode specific contracts are more for the dailies where you can choose between several options. Players shouldn't be forced to play certain modes if they want to complete circuit contracts.

I dont think its very fair to get matchmaking bans for game crashes, it took me 2 minutes to rejoin yes but I came back and we ended up winning, but I dont percieve it as the greatest choice to punish me by making me get the position as if i was 8th place, eventhough we ended up winning since I came back quite swift. Especially since many people are also having the exception violation error still. I'm not asking for the matchmaking bans to be removed, far from it, but it defintely needs to be tweaked, EAC needs time to boot up with the game so its not really possible for me to rejoin on time.

DATA RESHAPER REWORK đ
We all know how data reshaper is an underrated gadget. It's decent, but by no means strong. It uses 1 slot of the medium gadgets and it def is not worth to pick up between all the good gadgets medium has.
To add more versatility to the item, I suggest this:
Before a match, when equipping the data reshaper in your loadout, you get to pick 2 differents slots. 1 for RMB - 1 for LMB. So, there you get to pick into which barrel the reshaped item turns into. (For example: LMB u select gas barell and RMB u select healing barell)
With this change I think it's worth losing a gadget slot for because it will add more creativity/complexity for Medium loadouts instead of the random barrel cycle that we have.
Also, for every item you reshape wherever it's a turret, prop or a barrel, it will become a gift box (OPPORTUNITY FOR SKINS, Embark â ïž đ ).
That way, only you and your team get to know what this gift box does when it's thrown! Ennemies will have to be careful and throw it away, or gamble on luck and use it hoping it's a healing box.
In terms of looks, I am thinking either a gift box, or a simple glass ball with a glowing question mark inside it ''?''

I am a player with 1200 hours playtime and with 0 sbmm in quickplay modes it's really tiring to destroy all the new players for +10 points per win / +5 points per lose (and probably putting some of those new players switch off the game). Just wanted to give my two cents as a Light main whoâs been really enjoying heavy as of late:
I use winch claw probably 1/2 the time I play heavy, the other half I usually play charge nâ slam, so my opinion on it is as follows:
Iâd lean away from nerfing range on winch claw, but reducing the stun and removing the hit on the retraction may be beneficial to help interactions feel less âbullshitâ, because there are definitely times in which I get killed or get kills that feel outright unfair, and it stems from the winch claw (imo) stunning and moving people in basically a straight line. Like its no wonder lights get shredded when they get hit by it for a single frame.
As for everything else:
No opinion on pike (donât have as much experience against or with it)
Donât nerf dash, the light specializations are in a fairly maintained spot right now
Demat recharge is fine atm
Wah wah wah dash + sword sorry i had too lol~
Play more co-ordinated with ur team or set up traps. Being prepared shuts them down, hard (Even without your team or traps)

Definitely buff the time it takes for breach charge and vortex to be triggered, you have to hold it out to trigger it anyways so it should be faster.
DO NOT give sniper iron sights, recipe for disaster. The power of the sniper should be balanced by difficulty at close range, and the bow is currently filling the âclose range sniperâ niche that iron sights would offer in the first place.
No offense to you crab with my sword + dash joke-, itâs just that I personally donât want to listen to any arguments for removing stuff from the game (even my own), and that includes combos too. Have a great day dude.

For three days straight I have been getting all new players in tdms on my team while the other team has similar stats to mine yet all the players on my team are level 1 to 20. Am a level 88 with 42,000 kills what in the actual fuck are they all doing on my team when am going against emeralds same stats as mine? And my team is useless cuz theyr brand new. Do you think maybe you should place new players vs new players? Light bulb. I have the screen shots to prove it. Am I just supposed to carry the entire team every fucking match? Started playing regularly this season. Levelled up Quick Play badge to learn the game. Worked through World Tour to Emerald 1. Figured I was ready to start Ranked. OMG all the stuff I've heard about how bad Ranked solo queue is turned out to be true. Players disconnecting, not playing as a team, rushing in and dying, not responding to pings, antisocial behavior - it's like they are TRYING to lose and there is nothing I can do to salvage the match. Absolutely miserable. Worst multiplayer experience I've had in a very long time, no question.
I have noticed an increase of players quitting in world tour. I am not sure if they are crashing or rage quitting, but I think bans for leaving should escalate in time to filter them out. (Maybe track overall quit rate? And also track if it was due to an error code so as not to penalize crashes?)
For example, I played a random WT with two other competent players. One of them was rude a nd quit when he thought we were going to lose. We still ended up winning round 1 and round 2 as a duo, and probably could have won tournament if we had a 3rd still.

Hey guys, anybody know how to force the game to precompile shaders? I reinstalled the game recently but it didn't compile shaders at the start, now I get like below 20fps at everything low, ultra performance.
Money in TDM should be awarded to the killer after the person they killed respawns
or reviving should be completely disabled in TDM
it's really infuriating when someone feeds enemies money by defibbing you in the middle of combat
why is it one match has high packet loss then the next game its perfectly fine????
On respawn would probably make defib a must pick

There's a bug that prevents all interaction with the loadouts on controller in the pre match screen if you look at your teams loadouts. So we are accidentally being punished for coordinating gadgets. This also randomly happens in the non match menus too after doing pretty much anything
I think the "reaction speed" of the medium's turret should be increased a bit tbh

Add PVE gamemode: kill animations in this game are so satisfying, sometimes I just wanna farm kills and relax. Maybe give us something similar to cod zombies 4 vs increasing waves of zombies. Allow the no destruction as it's hard to code AI with destruction. Delete TA and implement this. It will 100% help the player retention, as not all of us want to deal with the ruby sweats in casual lobbies and are looking for a chill time.

Kyoto is garbage, hot take I know. But that shit is ass. I think the Bambo should break to any damage and add more buildings, the whole map is outside and it makes getting gangbanged way easier and means there is no good cover for a majority of the map. Like the map is titled Kyoto, it should look like Kyoto, not bumfuck nowhere with a population of 3 people.
Also the whole thing being outside makes punishing gaggle-fuckers a lot harder since they can just focus fire whoever is shooting them. And the shorter range weapons that punish grouping up can't reach them without getting mowed down.
Also the Bambo in kyoto makes the new map feel even dumber since you literally made a mirrors edge style map and we can't run on the damn powerlines. Like every single stick of Bamboo in kyto is an invincible wall but we can't ride powerlines in a parkour themed map. This double standard is bullshit, I wanna surf the wires. The other maps are fine but weirdly enough despite how good SYS$Horizon is the power shift on that map is really stupid, like oppressively stupid to a point where the platform rarely leaves the starting area. Also I like new Vegas alot more, old Vegas was confusing and difficult to navigate and I think the new version helps a lot. Also I love Vegas in ranked, the fact that we have 3 different variants makes the different matches feel unique, please add this for all maps if possible

Embark please rethink ur balancing approach. You are extremly reluctent to buff damage but very keen to nerf nowadays. Best example is the 93r nerf to its rpm, the weapon was perfectly fine, u seem to just nerf based on usage and the coresponding win rate. The gun or guns arent op they are simply the "best" option at the moment and ur style of balance just makes this a cycle. We would have so many more Weapons that would be viable at up to top ranks with a higher precision and reluctants on nerfs and a bit more forgivness on buffs. Happened to the XP, after the buff to 17dpb was strong and fun but not op. It became the generel "best" pic for light but simply only because it was that easy to pick it up. Then the nerf and buff to 93r and the cycle repeats with now the 93r getting nerfed. leaving both weapons strong but not op would make the weapon variety u see in matches increase and right now it seems to just spiral. On other classes the same, while medium had and has its meta weapons especially in casual lobbies everyone picked up the cl40 until it was to much it gets nerfed and mow riot shield took its place. Weapons that are strong should stay strong as long as they arent gamebreaking and other weapons should get buffed without these "strong" weapons getting nerfed into obscurity

- Rework Nulifier (again) : When you get it by the "Taser" recoil is increased but you can still move as you want & you take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity during 3 sec. Can hit multiple target when you shoot.
- Increase the hip fire of the CB01-Repeater
- Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light & it can be use for your teammates too !
- Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
- Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did here
- Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safer !
- Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do 5 damages. It's already strong enough
- Rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR for example.
The effort to play Light correctly is too damn high compared to Medium & Heavy class. There is no fun at all playing Light. When will we see a META with Light ?
Light are getting vanish by 80% of the weapons in your game and can't get a proper 1v1 without get instant kill. You destroyed the stun gun. You destroyed the XP54. Every viable weapons or gadget has been destroyed nerf after nerf because of player that can't track properly a class with 150HP.

I was surprised at Battlefield 6's lack of destruction, the finals destruction blows Battlefield 6 out of the water in close quarter devastation. It works but nowhere close. My biggest issue right now is getting fast switched on by light snipers using the grappling hook. I get wanting to win, but 3rd party apps to enhance performance is viagra grandpa pool side fighting over the last viagra pill shit. Lame as fuck

Lengthening the defib animation wasn't the right path towards balancing it. It feels awkward and inconsistent.
I think you should be able to shoot the rezzing ghost to cancel the revive.
I have a pretty small suggestion wich only affects intros and winner animations.
What if you could do group emotes? There are emotes that have an hologram wich is supposed to represent another person but what if you could do them with your squadmates. This could be an option in the social tab that you can toggle on or off. The squad leader would be in the middle or the "main" person in the animation.
It could be done so that only the "main" person in the emote needs to own the emote.
This feature could make full stacks that much cooler. Imagine seeing 3 lights doing the ninja emote...

Is it time to revisit a "solo mode" option? Devising a good one is challenging, but the challenge with solo-queueing is also getting some high-profile attention lately. It would mean lots of work, but building out something good might be a valid reason to skip a new map some season. Any idea will need tuning, but it might be worth the effort if more players join, stay, and eventually get into the social, team-oriented, and competitive sides of the game. Good to have the "solo bank-it" experience to learn what doesn't work (imho). Here's one idea (đ€·):
"Solo Auditions" (the lore is that it's where "aspiring contestants" compete)
Core loop (player experience):
- Queue -> Match server: You land in a shared âstudio backlotâ containing N isolated duel tiles (e.g., 24â36), i.e. mini-maps or "audition spaces"
- Match format: You play 6 short rounds of 1v1s (~75â90s/round, or first to a point cap). Everyone continues for all 6 rounds.
- Swiss reseeding: After each round, the matchmaker re-pairs you inside the same server: winners face winners, strugglers face strugglers. Finds your competitive band quickly, with winnable duels by rounds 3â4.
- Inter-round reset: 7â10 seconds (quick kit swap + respwan in a new mini-map). May benefit from curated solo kit options.
- Objective / map variety: Each round rolls one objective and map variant, self-contained in one of the isolated duel tiles, to keep a game-show feel and reduce one-dimensional metas. All objectives are mirror-fair, can force interaction (no âinfinite hidingâ), and can reward different kinds of skill expression.

If it misses, it misses, it should not winch on the return, it should not lock onto me if it goes past me.
I should not be stunned if it winches from less then 3m, and the stun effect should be the same for both the winched, and the wincher. Right now the winch hits the person from any range it stuns them, the person winching can hit the person using their mystical third arm to pull back and hold the gun at the same time, winch still going on and they can attack. Then the person being winched will have the actual winch end, be able to check their pockets to make sure they have their wallet, stretch up a bit, and then they will still be winched.

Guys please, make fire damage of the cerberus more consistent and so it could stack up with previous shots, because it's the only weapon with the magazine in the entire game that can't eliminate a heavy player with all its magazine without applying certain timings.

Now Iâm a light main, so Iâm biased, but lights are not the objective best class in the game. If they were, pro games wouldnât be using each class on every team. I do, however, agree that evasive dash is too popular, but instead of nerfing it I believe there should be buffs to cloak and grapple. Dash isnât overpowered, the other specs are just underpowered.

There is definitely a wicked turret meta imo, APS turret not being countered by glitch grenade is definitely very ridiculous. One turret on its own is pretty bad but the more you stack them the more ridiculous they get.
Spear is also pretty oppressive which is a very unpopular opinion so itâs likely Iâm just bad against it.
Iâve already talked about it but sword is actually ridiculous in its current state and desperately needs a nerf. Its combo with evasive dash is actually crazy especially against console players who literally canât move their camera fast enough.
This is a huge one for me personally as a mainly melee user, a light with evasive dash COMPLETELY counters every single melee in the ENTIRE game shit is actually ridiculous. The only way to fight a dash light with a melee weapon is to use evasive dash as well which should not be the way it is. And finally invisibility is incredibly inconsistent across all platforms⊠PLEASE make it consistent. It should absolutely not under any circumstances make fights rely entirely upon how much money your willing to spend on you gaming system. On ps4 it is GENUINELY invisible while on a newer console/PC it doesnât even compare. This is by far my biggest gripe about the game in its current state.
Cosmetics wise I would love to see more animations for the dual blades, seeing as currently they have literally none. I think adding a juggling inspect animation that lasts as long as you hold the button would make for a very nice addition.

Your balance suggestions are objectively awful. Light is the most powerful class in the hands of a good player, it's the easiest class for me to drop 20-40 kill games in TDM with regularly.
Crying daily about how Light is underpowered only goes on to show that you not only don't know how to play your favorite class and instead of adapting to fight different playstyles, you want them all removed. Once everything else is nerfed and everyone is playing Light (even more so than they already are), they'll still outplay you because you are that bad. On the offchance you're not just trolling and you're actually serious, you really do deserve the negative replies and should move on to a different game.

please kill low gravity in power shift. it's never good
flamethrower and CL-40 are not meta. if you made CL-40 only deal damage on direct hit, it'd be fucking worthless lol. assuming you could aim a hitscan gun well instead, the only 2 reasons to use the current CL-40 are for (mild) chip damage around cover, multi-hitting, and pushing statues around... otherwise, it kills EVERY CLASS slower than multiple guns do.

I love this game so much, but I have never experienced in any other game the kind of toxicity that a 3-stack in this game can produces. There is almost literally no way to beat a coordinated team as a solo player. This really has to stop, Embark--please fix your matchmaking and stop queuing solos against teams. And PLEASE remove the ranked/WT cash gain contract--it is very disrespectful to dedicated casuals who want to avoid sweat lobbies.

You canât rely on streamers of this game because there isnât a lot of big streamers, this is a niche community and there isnât many players this game never breaks 25,000players The only reason why this game has the increase of because of penguinz0 but not many other streamers are playing this game to mention the new player experience sucks ass. Either ranked or world tour needs to get rid of rewards because they are both essentially ranked just one donât punish you for being a bad player.

Dual blades
- remove all damage when blocking with mouse2.
- add the ability to cancel mid combo and go into block instance.
Riot shield
- fix the animations to match the hitbox of the shield.
- make hitting the shield cancel the damage of melee attacks/weapons.

Hello, Embark developers, I would like to discuss a situation that has been affecting my gameplay for a long time. I have been playing since season 1 and I don't usually play ranked matches because I didn't know what I needed to compete. In season 4, I started playing competitively and I always found the matchmaking difficult when it comes to playing solo. I am not an English-speaking player and a large part of the ranked players speak English. I use pings but they don't pay attention, I use text chat and they don't respond either. I try to work as a team, I am decent with eliminations but they always play with the worst team setups, while other random teams play with the meta. It has been a streak of bad luck playing solo because I am the only one who always tries to do something for the objective, eliminations, revives, positioning, attack, and defense, but my team always seems to be made up of the most laid-back players.
I have invested over 1300 hours into this game, and thanks to World Tour, I have managed to understand the game. However, no matter how good I become, the only gap between reaching diamond (or at least platinum) is always the matchmaking. I am quite tired of wasting time and getting frustrated by losing to players who use turrets, weapons they don't master, or who don't know what they're doing. It does me no good to know things as specific as the Time To Kill of a meta weapon category if my teammates don't know something as basic as using a defibrillator when I'm about to be revived.I will continue playing The Finals, but I am starting to get disappointed with the experience.

Adjust spawn parameters throughout all modes, QC being the worst offender. I guess i can't post my video's of it but 3rd parties shouldn't spawn within 50-75 meters of two teams fighting at a cashbox station. Lately a wiped team will also spawn very close to the cashout station a team is attempting to cash out in which sort of rewards a wipe, which is weird. If it happens in WT I'm sure it happens in ranked and that would kinda suck to say the least. And by now people who have been playing for awhile have a clue as to where people are going to spawn, so in the case of the other video i was gonna show, Monaco on Suspended Structures you can shoot a team as they spawn from one of the cash out stations. On older maps especially, maybe add more spawn points or shuffle them around. Perhaps prioritize distance to enemy team to be 25-50 meters away at the very least through out all modes. And it should recognize 2 teams within a certain range of spawn and/or cashout station. This happens quite a lot on Bernal as well as Monaco.

Hello, id like to just address for the Winch Claw specialisation to be adjusted. The ability for a heavy to essentially displace, stun and, most of all, secure a kill in a sudden moment is really frustrating to play against, let alone the ability to move around a cashbox without much set up needed (for the most part).
The ability to give players more ways to fight back against a winch claw heavy, at least when they get hooked, would be something that would ease this frustration!

Hot take but for me the game is pretty balanced at this point - except Pike. The two major problems i have with the game is the desync of the servers and the lag and spikes introduced in 7.9 updates. Ive been killed numerous times when already behind cover which sucks. Also game freezes from time to time for up to 2 seconds amidst fights which puts you in huge disadvantage. Invest in servers guys, dont be the next cs go.That being said i have two ideas which i think could be the solution for the Pike - either make it projectile after some points like the sniper, nerf its damage or buff the sniper projectile range or velocity so it becomes counter to pike players.I dont say this is the best solution but for sure you need to look at Pikes state with the start of the new season.But please invest time and money in the servers thats the main issue with the game right now imo.

Giving Data Reshaper a visible AoE indicator when wielding it would help give people an idea of just how effective the gadget could be. And by that I mean a visible semi-transparent sphere.
Maybe make it a general toggle for all gadgets which you can use to influence the arena, just like how deployables have them or how grenades have visible trajectory arcs. Would be cool!

My team (blue) rocked, we were always 3 pals and won (29.000$)
Orange, had a bad start, so 1 left, and shortly after the second guy. That 1 guy managed with the help of us, to keep 2 cashouts and made it through the next round đ (28.500$)
Pink, lost 2 cashouts and the whole team left in a short period of time (11.500$)
Violet had also a bad start and did not recover. 1 player left. (6.500$)
At the end there were 6 of total 12 players left, and orange had to keep on to play the next round ALONE, cause no one can't join afterwards.
I don't know, maybe the penalty is not hard enough (btw, I don't know what you get for leaving and if you can play Quick match while waiting) or you should loose World Rank Points or something. Or the ability for randoms to join Idk...

Point wise it is still 70 wins to get to E1 from G1 in the current season. I think the issue is much bigger. Embark has a fundamental issue with player retention and itâs been this way since before season 2. What have they done to remedy this? âLetâs add a non-ranked tournament game mode that takes 70+ wins to get the highest rankâ. âLetâs waste the time of skilled players and reset it every seasonâ. Instead of fixing ranked and implementing better anticheat, they have decided to neglect these in favor of new maps, new weapons, new gadgets ect. Half of which will be nerfed within a few a weeks of them dropping.
Revisit gadgets that arenât used as much, give all existing gadgets variations instead of making new ones so they are being utilised more and get new ways to play with. Using a crafting system where we can buy a variant with the gold we saved up from deposits during matches. For example gravity cube makes everything come down and damages you if youâre hit by the debris. Healing ball leaches onto enemies and damages them instead of healing you, pyro made becomes ice and slows enemies, turret becomes a close range shotty. Think the devs would come up with better variations than I do but the concept itself would help some gadgets being used more because most of them donât get used at all.

Develop your movement skills and riot becomes very fun to play as and MUCH easier to play against. Itâs all about chase/escape and not allowing them to solo you in an isolated 1v1 indoors with cover - stay near your teammates and/or outdoors in the open and riot is an easy kill.
The reason high level players think riot is fine / still somewhat underpowered in high level play is that they have good positioning and movement skills, whereas lower level players with poor skills end up in 1v1s more often and donât have the ability to escape/create space

Many emotes that have "crescendos" in the latter half are cut off when set as intro, as seemingly the introduction time is 5ish seconds while many emotes take 7-9 seconds to fully play out.

With the growing wave of smurfs, including a friend who is recently creating a new account to rank up some friends (I refused because I find it very unsportsmanlike and I hate that he is prideful for not wanting points if we lose RS, plus he has now made a habit of logging into their accounts to personally rank up) I thought it would be good for the game if Ranked was locked until you reach level 75. This wouldn't be a problem considering that many players are still learning how to play tournaments and the World Tour experience would help them understand competitive mode better through casual mode and it would help matchmaking, considering that many new players jump into Ranked but don't know what they are getting into and ruin the experience for experienced players; added to this, players who are creating new accounts to cheat in Ranked should dedicate enough time so that their accounts have as much value as that of a player with enough seniority. I hope this feedback is taken into account, or at least considered. I feel it would be a great way to improve the game experience. Good day, everyone.

There is one thing that annoys me about this game's music: that I can't listen to it during the match. You have all this great music at your disposal, yet the moment you load up a match you hear nothing. I want a way to play the soundtrack during the match, When I'm going head to head as an agent of CNS, I'd like to listen to music. The counterpoint could be "Well, just put headphones on and play your own". However, in doing that, I lose all game audio. (I'm playing on console, and I'll be a monkey's uncle before I give Playstation my Spotify information) The files are already there, all I want is the ability to play music (Maybe some sort of playlist system) during the match.

It will 100% help the player retention, as not all of us want to deal with the ruby sweats in casual lobbies and are looking for a chill time.

CL-40 is still incredibly strong and the sword buff was not only completely unnecessary but also made the weapon completely overpowered.
I canât speak for PC users but on console it is genuinely impossible to hit dash users consistently due to sensitivity.
There is definitely a wicked turret meta imo, APS turret not being countered by glitch grenade is definitely very ridiculous. One turret on its own is pretty bad but the more you stack them the more ridiculous they get.
Spear is also pretty oppressive which is a very unpopular opinion so itâs likely Iâm just bad against it.
Iâve already talked about it but sword is actually ridiculous in its current state and desperately needs a nerf. Its combo with evasive dash is actually crazy especially against console players who literally canât move their camera fast enough.
This is a huge one for me personally as a mainly melee user, a light with evasive dash COMPLETELY counters every single melee in the ENTIRE game shit is actually ridiculous. The only way to fight a dash light with a melee weapon is to use evasive dash as well which should not be the way it is. Iâm not saying to nerf it into the ground but please add some kind of counter/option for melee users against dash lights

And finally invisibility is incredibly inconsistent across all platforms⊠PLEASE make it consistent. It should absolutely not under any circumstances make fights rely entirely upon how much money your willing to spend on you gaming system. On ps4 it is GENUINELY invisible while on a newer console/PC it doesnât even compare. This is by far my biggest gripe about the game in its current state.
P.s. I play all game modes and my opinion was formed by the entire game as a whole. Even if I only played game modes like power shift last time I checked itâs still a game mode in the finals so they should balance things with all the modes in mind.

Just finished playing a game. We had the cash out, we get third partied. We spawn 200m from a cash out that is still ours. We get there, and the steal had JUST finished.
If a team 3rd parties, it shouldnât be the team with the cash out penalized. We should still be able to spawn close if the cash out is still ours. You want to put an end to third parties? I feel like this will help. Because you have two teams killing each other while a fresh team spawns close.
Again, if the cash out is still ours. Just a thought. Itâs wrong to think we have to take it as a lost because another team played horribly against the team they paired against.

The steam controller has something similar with track pads replacing the anologs. I honestly think there is merit to using track pads but the controller never took off.
Clubs are fantastic but we need the ability to send game invites to other club members. Atm you can only invite people who are on your friends list, Yes you can "request" games in the club menu but this doesn't notify other members that your looking for a game.

everybody gets on here just to disagree and be biased about what they personally like, but if you force an unbiased opinion and just play matches looking for specific things that usually do better than others, you'll find that there actually is a pretty strong meta. The light class doesn't have to be meta to be obnoxious, which is something light mains love to abuse so they can try to push free ragebait wins. Think about it this way, the finals is trying to turn this into an esports level game without pushing esports level fair play. They bait people with the store to keep them distracted so they don't question the issues you had in the game once you're back in the menu. They've turned the game into an overstimulation simulator just like all the other fps games right now; it's intentionally designed to drain you of mental energy and overall motivation so all you have the energy left to do.. is play the game. They set up what's going to be meta beforehand so they can plan to scam people with store bundles who want the flashiest meta. Look at what they did to the hammer and sword. They nerfed the sword to give the non light players a sigh of relief from teleporting ragebait, then nerfed the hammer extremely hard. After, they seemed to slip in a massive buff for the sword, making the primary attack more viable and the secondary still really good but not as bad as it used to be. With the primary buff, it's performing better than it ever has. The hammer on the other hand, got a small secondary buff, but is still very weak against the light class, and can't even touch the sword. People were still using it, so they also intentionally messed up the hit reg, and now it hits about 30% of the time. Everyone needs to open their eyes and stop letting them psychologically manipulate you. People have massive egos so they won't admit to themselves or to others that they're being manipulated, but we don't have to admit it to do something about it. it's not just games, it's everythin
I was wondering if youâve considered adding a player profile feature in The Finals? Something that lets us (and others) view stats, time played, and similar info. A good comparison would be how Overwatch and similar games do it, I think their profile/stat-tracking system is done really well. I think something like that would add a lot to the experience in The Finals, especially if you could set a profile icon, banner and other decorative pieces maybe? Just a thought of mine :)

Hi devs, game is absolutely peak and the best shooter now. But it deserves more popularity, and I know how to gain it. I think it's all cuz of dopamine, dopamine gets higher when u wait for smth good for some time, but in this game u can't wait cuz everything is too fast, so the dopamine gap is smaller. But if u add a global thing, like a mega boss(or smth) in the center of the map(Nashor/Defending Towers in LOL/ DOTA 2, bomb/economics in CS2/VALORANT, zone in APEX/PUBG) that changes every match that would create cycles of anticipation and reward that keep more players hooked. I thing just one global mechanic which u can use to outplay ur opponents can bring so much. Love ur game, hope my suggestion is good
Another day another post about how dogshit the mtahmaking in WT EU is. You claim there is none, yet the only teammates that i get are totall smoothbrains that can't even aim with riotshield, how the hell am i supposed to even get any points if all i get are people picking turret, (i called to change from it before match started because it's the most usless spec there is). They don't listen, i explain why it,s bad, they say it's good, they proced to never use it and to place it on the ground in a corner where they did not even dmg one oponent. Holy shit like exactly this its like a roadhog hook 1.0 and in overwatch that shit was hated too but here in the finals we are still going strong with this nonsense. This makes winch express more skill in hitting it and it doesnt feel cheesy to get hit by it. instead of a 12m killzone it becomes a lot more balanced. Hey after thoroughly testing and trying I have made a discovery: the MGL just kinda suck at any altercation. Yes it has range however the fuse mixes with the bounciness kinda ruins that. The new explosion damage tech makes it so you either have to direct hit or you tickle them a little. Short range is impossible for obvious reasons. All in all a pretty bad gun

In a 1 hour play session I have had all these things annoy me. They occur so often that I've decided to note them down:
-Unwanted auto-clambering when jumping
-You can get stuck on door collision
-Sometimes running disables temporarily
-Unwanted climbing when near ladders

Winch just needs reworking, how was stun gun a problem with its free kill/immobilising gimmick, but winch is fine? Even roadhog winch wasnât this buggy, being winched through barriers and walls unable to counter unless you have a goo grenade is ridiculous.

Embark, it is truly insulting how often I, at level 86, find myself matched with people below level 30 and must fight with them against clan 3-stacks. It's no fun for me, and it can't be any more fun for my teammates. I think I can safely say that there is literally nothing else in this game that needs fixed more than this ridiculous matchmaking. So please fix it.

1: Thank you for the catgirl maid. It's perfect, no notes. It's everything I've wanted in this game's cosmetics for over a year now and I couldn't be happier.
2: In Power Shift, the position of the meteor shower event should be tied to the platform's location. Too often I'll see the event spawn in a far-away corner of the map where no players have even gone to for the entire match. All this does is create a lot of audio spam without doing much else to affect the flow of the match. But if the meteors were guaranteed to happen at the plat, that would make for a much more energetic engagement for both attackers and defenders. It still wouldn't likely turn the tide for a match (so no Mario Party-like BS), but it would add a lot more dynamism to a match.
2.5: Also for Power Shift, the platform should lose progress if the leading team doesn't continue pushing it after a certain amount of time. This would mitigate the stalling tactics and spawn trapping scenarios which often lead to dissatisfying matches that get pushed all the way to the time limit. Perhaps if no players have pushed the platform for ~15 seconds, have the plat start reversing at 0.5x the speed of 1 player standing on it. This way, if a team decides to set up a spawn trap, they risk creating a tiebreaker scenario at the end of the round if the plat is back all the way back at the center. This would incentivize OBJ gameplay, and prevent spawn-exploiting teams from pretending that they're playing TDM.

KS23 NEEDS HEADSHOTS
Ks23 was the guns that suffered the most from the removal of the ability to by pass manual action animations on patch 5.8, before that patch, the gun was not the best, but, it was viable. But now, even after the multiple ks23 buffs, the gun stills struggles in almost every situation.
The 5.8 change made it so all of the skill ceiling of the gun was gone, before, you were able to use QM between shots and combo it with winch(unlike model, every time you used QM with ks you lose fire rate, making it a high risk/high reward strat), allowing it to have a insane burst potential if you were good with it.
But now there is nothing. The dmg, mag, and ttk of the gun is mediocre compared to the rest of heavy arsenal, it feel clunky when using with every spec that is not C&S because of the 5.8 changes, and the destruction capabilities doesn't alleviate this issues.
So i propose this:
⊠Reduce the base dmg from 100 to 90 (The TTK and STK against every class stays the same) but give it a 1.5x headshot multiplier (135 dmg per headshot)
Most of this change is focused on bringing back the skill ceiling the gun lost after 5.8 patch without making it overpowered (I want Ks to be viable, not broken). This change would also increase the effectiveness of Ks close range while keeping the same ttk for long range fights.
⊠Increase the Damage Drop off Modifier from ~70% to ~78%
I still want to keep the 70 dmg per shot at longer ranges, long range shots are one of the most rewarding parts of Ks and now with headshots (105 dmg at long ranges) added to the equation it gives another layer of complexity that rewards good players.
⊠(Optional) increase mag size from 6 to 7
reducing the base dmg from 100 to 90 hurts the (already low) dmg per mag, going from 600 to 540 (one of the lowest dmg per mag on the heavy arsenal), so giving one more bullet would alleviate this issue.

Genuine question not asking for a change just curious. They nerfed the RPG for heavy because they didn't want any individual gadget or gun to be able to one shot (granted the sniper can with headshot but you actually needs to be good to hit your shot), but the DB for light can one shot a light and its not a gadget so there is no cool down on it and there is little to no skill needed to hit a full pellet shot. you just need to be close but with invis and dash its extremely easy to.

Shak is very strong right now, argueably the best heavy weapon overall. I think it needs a nerf to make it less reliable at grinding someone down to nothing in the time it takes for the winch to pull them in.

The issue in the finals. Is the matchmaking, Playing with high or lower levelled players with higher levelled players session is unfair. Or lets say. MMR, Having a teammate that is new to the game is harsh. But also having rubies in your team while your are new to the game is good for him but unplayable for him and those rubies hate him for being new. Crazy.
That's another reason there is a mixed view of matchmaking and calling people cheaters. But the reason he is a ruby cheater or actual legit player. Either they are skilled or cheaters. (But of course there is cheaters everywhere. But for new players is feels like everyone is)

Since the rotation clamp is clearly the biggest thing that makes the weapon unusable, it should not exist in the game at all.You should just revert sword back to how it was in S1 and S2, when there was no multi-hit. Because you thought sword was weak when there was no multi-hit,you patched multi-hit in.But because your obsession with keeping that led to the dumbest decision, even removing mechanics all other weapons have.
Every weapon, when in close range, can naturally move behind the enemy or slide behind and look back to hit. And dagger is a weapon specifically designed for that. So are you going to add aim lock to all weapons? Why, sword canât look back like all do? Every weapon can naturally look back and attack. But sword alone is restricted from doing that? Why do you discriminate only against the sword by calling it an âexploitâ when all melees can do it?
Wildly spinning the aim actually wasnât used, It was used only in very rare cases dumb enemies were stupidly stacked in one spot.
The occasional turning of aim was used to maximize multi-hit.
If the problem is wild turning, then just remove multi-hit.
Even if someone spins wildly, theyâd only hit one target. That solves the problem. Of course, dmg must also be reverted.

What they need to do with the world tour matchmaking, isn't balance the average lvl per team, it's to balance the average difference in rank between players on the same team, and then balance the teams against each other.
e.g.
- 10 + 80 + 10 = max 70 difference = frustrating for everyone, total lvl = 100
- 30 + 40 + 30 = max 10 difference = should be fine, total lvl = 100
but if you put those two teams in the same match, it's obvious who's going to loose, and who's going to have a frustrating time.
if they keep putting lvl 80 players with lvl 10 players, you also can't use a average win/loss ratio of the players as a matchmaking metric, because the players in the 10/80/10 team will loose every time.
I don't know the exact algorithm, but as-is, it's frustrating as a lvl 80+ player.

Clearly my team was being beaten & I am who replaced the rage quitter. It is only 1 round. Just let them play it out. I got so much negative feelings about this because game has really big problem with constant crashes/kicks through its whole lifecycle. Especially now, if you look in bug section of discord and steam discussions there is biggest crash/kick epidemic in months. So much people lost teammate unfairly, so much people returned to match and pushed their team to victory just to be punished by the system that kicked them in the first place.

ik its something u guys are working on but i cant even hit emerald because i am constantly getting third partied almost every single game its beginning to become rediculous either make wt easier to grind or figure out the third party issue. best way i can come up with is maybe do the 8 teams but in rounds of only 3v3 and the winning teams advance to top 4 teams then the 2 winning teams of that face off in the finals

For both riot shield and dual blades, blocking shots should slow the blocker down allowing the shooter a moment to escape which would allow for counter play from both sides who have to manage each others strengths and weaknesses. Each melee weapon could have different slownesses since dual blades deflect shots while riot doesn't. Could even be used by friendlies to propel mediums to higher ground so it is not just a nerf but something unique

Do some simple calculations and it should be obvious that there aren't enough of them for it to be possible to form matches from a pool of less than several thousand of the better players on a good day. You'd need a few thousand highly active diamond players just to fill up the gaps in ruby lobbies to allow them to play the game in the first place, and realistically the number needs to be a fair bit higher to form such lobbies throughout the day and reliably from minute to minute.

- Revert the nerf of the XP54. What's the point of putting XP at 16dmg when M11 (an other SMG) do the same, faster & with more bullets ?
- Rework Nulifier (again) : When you get it by the "Taser" recoil is increased but you can still move as you want & you take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity during 3 sec. Can hit multiple target when you shoot.
- Increase the hip fire of the CB01-Repeater
- Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light & it can be use for your teammates too !
- Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
- Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did here
- Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safer !
- Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do 5 damages. It's already strong enough
- Rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR for example.
The effort to play Light correctly is too damn high compared to Medium & Heavy class. There is no fun at all playing Light. The fact is we never saw a Light META since the launch of this game compare to M & H. It's say a lot about the game & the balance
Light are getting vanish by 80% of the weapons in your game and can't get a proper 1v1 without get instant kill. You destroyed the stun gun. You destroyed the XP54. Every viable weapons or gadget has been destroyed nerf after nerf because of player that can't track properly a class with 150HP.

- Improve your netcode/tickrate ! Dying behind cover is not acceptable at all ! Dash is not viable because of this and it's worst with a good connection !
- Flamethrower & hook should NOT get you through walls, doors and farer than it should be

- Having good connection = Death behind wall, door, ect...

I just reinstalled my PC and there are two really stupid things with this game:

Stock setting is open mic. Thats an insanely stupid setting and potentially illegal in some countries.

CL-40, KS-23, and Dual Blades do not need nerfs. None of those are even close to meta...
And I wish people would stop asking to reduce Pike's damage. It was borderline unused when it did less than 50. Nerf the range, mag size, or RPM instead. Come on, there are so many variables besides damage...
I queued up to play ranked matches, but changed to World Tour because the wait time was too long.
I was matched in World Tour and was changing my weapons and skills when suddenly the game reloaded and switched to ranked mode.

The APS should gain XP per deployment, as well as getting far more XP per projectile blocked. As it stands it only gets 50 xp each time it blocks a projectile, and it still needs tens and hundreds of thousands of xp to level up. Deploying should give XP as well, since deploying it alone may deter people from firing at it, which is part of it's intended use; defense. But unless people constantly lay into it, you get almost no deflections, and by extension, hardly any xp.
i think itâs just the melee aim assist that needs to be nerfed
When someone drops off your team during the very start of the loading intro in wt, matchmaking should do a "high priority add" to get you a teammate in the next 30 seconds as match starts. It sucks to play WT as a duo.

Spear: increase the first swing damage in the combo from 65 to 70 and the last one from 90 to 95 making it 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to 120, it needs to kill a heavy with 3 hits because
Reason #1: you're vulnerable to being shot and killed during the animation
Reason #2: you move slow during the animation
Reason #3: you can't manually cancel it unless you use the communication wheel
and make the lunge speed a little faster because everytime i lunge towards my target, i don't get any closer, i've tried it on the dummies in the practice range
KS-23: either give it a 1.3x headshot multiplier and make the hitbox of it big or decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120
R.357: increase the fire rate from 140 to 160 RPM
Dual blades: make the Deflect more consistent so it can block all melee weapons and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55, increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when blocking and deflecting and make it so the blades deflect pellets from shotguns more consistently and accurately because right now it's bugged, it deflects one pellet and then deflects more pellets at a certain range and the bullets come out of the person's head instead of their gun at point blank range, pls fix the bug
AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose
Data Reshaper: increase the charges from 2 to 3 and decrease the cooldown from 26s to 20s
Model 1887: remove the eject-and-catch-shell reload animation and make its tactical reload like the KS-23's tactical reload and increase the fire rate to 85 RPM

There should be a "Club members" list under the social section, so you can invite club member just as if they were in your friend's list, without having to add them before, this would need an option to avoid invitation spamming like being able to invite through that window only once per minute or being able to block invitations on the "social" tab inside the settings like "allow club member invitations".

Heavy specializations are pretty decently balanced right now, but some could use buffs to make them a bit closer in value to each other. Currently, Winch Claw has a bit more utility compared to the other specializations due to the fact that pulling a Cashout vault to a new location is very strong for stalling it out.
For Charge N' Slam, I'd suggest giving it additional object knockback to allow it to push and/or send the vaults flying into other areas. Having additional ways to stall or attack the Cashout by moving it would give more options for teams to choose the style in which they want to approach it.
For Mesh Shield, suggestions I have include making it possible to push or pull the cash out slowly by holding your shield out and moving it - alternatively, you can have it block Winch Claw to have an act as counter to that specialization more focused on anchoring the vault. It would still be weak against Charge N' Slam, however.
Can we revert to FCAR 20 bullets again? Think it fits in the meta

KS23 NEEDS HEADSHOTS
Ks23 was the guns that suffered the most from the removal of the ability to by pass manual action animations on patch 5.8, before that patch, the gun was not the best, but, it was viable. But now, even after the multiple ks23 buffs, the gun stills struggles in almost every situation.
The 5.8 change made it so all of the skill ceiling of the gun was gone, before, you were able to use QM between shots and combo it with winch(unlike model, every time you used QM with ks you lose fire rate, making it a high risk/high reward strat), allowing it to have a insane burst potential if you were good with it.
But now there is nothing. The dmg, mag, and ttk of the gun is mediocre compared to the rest of heavy arsenal, it feel clunky when using with every spec that is not C&S because of the 5.8 changes, and the destruction capabilities doesn't alleviate this issues.
So i propose this:
⊠Reduce the base dmg from 100 to 90 (The TTK and STK against every class stays the same) but give it a 1.5x headshot multiplier (135 dmg per headshot)
Most of this change is focused on bringing back the skill ceiling the gun lost after 5.8 patch without making it overpowered (I want Ks to be viable, not broken). This change would also increase the effectiveness of Ks close range while keeping the same ttk for long range fights.
⊠Increase the Damage Drop off Modifier from ~70% to ~78%
I still want to keep the 70 dmg per shot at longer ranges, long range shots are one of the most rewarding parts of Ks and now with headshots (105 dmg at long ranges) added to the equation it gives another layer of complexity that rewards good players.
⊠(Optional) increase mag size from 6 to 7
reducing the base dmg from 100 to 90 hurts the (already low) dmg per mag, going from 600 to 540 (one of the lowest dmg per mag on the heavy arsenal), so giving one more bullet would alleviate this issue

Also the Keltec RFB would be a good DMR for the heavy class since the only weapon close is the dual Deagles. For light, a normals 9mm Vector would be cool. Iâd love to see something like an MP7 to add an SMG for the medium class.

Nerf winch the proper way, dont touch range or something like that. Nerf the way it works. It should not winch on pull back, be able to keep the winch through objects, and the stun should not last longer for the winched then the actual winch claw, whilst the winch user can shoot before the winch ends.

idk what to even say here but I want to still leave feedback so:
Please revert all changes to model before patch 5.8, as the 5.8 nerf completely butchered Model 1887, nerfing it even more than the previous nerfs that were already bad for it by making the damage per pellet from 13 to 11 and patching out quick meleeing between the lever action animation. (Which has caused the TTK, at close range, with all pellets hitting, to be slower than present-day FCAR, with no headshots.)
Before patch 5.8, the weapon was balanced while still being usable, as the weapon was nerfed previously before, all the buffs the gun has had since the patch 5.8 nerf have at best done not much, and at worse made the gun even less appealing (such as there being 7 bullets instead of 6, which doesn't change anything in terms of effectiveness besides feeling weirder to play)
I sent feedback from 4 months ago that elaborates more on this if you check the messages sent by me but I honestly doubt this message is gonna be read, let alone be considered in any meaningful way, especially since the start of this message was completely irrelevant to anything
Oh yeah another thing I want to say is please revert the recent defib nerf it might do a slight amount to make a few people "think about defibbing more strategically" but it really doesn't do much in the long run besides making the item feel super unsatisfying to play as the extra 0.2 seconds feel super awkward and mess up muscle memory
Add just a small forward momentum to Dual Blade's 3rd attack to make it actually useful.
Currently, the 3rd attack is seen as the worst hit in the game. Not only does it reduce your dps, it also gets you stuck in an unnecessary longwinded attack animation that also messes up your recovery.
It it is such a bad state that the very few experts who can make Dual Blades work, always recommend trying to skip the 3rd attack with a quick melee or even other techniques to avoid it, especially against Lights who can just run away and avoid it if u were unlucky enough to miss them with the first hits.
Adding a little forward momentum on the Dual Blade wouldn't really change the dps in any way, but rather it would make the weapon just a tad bit more useful, especially against escaping Lights. You don't need to increase the dps to make it viable, especially against Riot Shield. Rather, a mini-thrust on the 3rd attack would actually make it easier to continue to the next combo.

CL-40 is still incredibly strong and the sword buff was not only completely unnecessary but also made the weapon completely overpowered.
I canât speak for PC users but on console it is genuinely impossible to hit dash users consistently due to sensitivity.
There is definitely a wicked turret meta imo, APS turret not being countered by glitch grenade is definitely very ridiculous. One turret on its own is pretty bad but the more you stack them the more ridiculous they get.
Spear is also pretty oppressive which is a very unpopular opinion so itâs likely Iâm just bad against it.
Iâve already talked about it but sword is actually ridiculous in its current state and desperately needs a nerf. Its combo with evasive dash is actually crazy especially against console players who literally canât move their camera fast enough.
This is a huge one for me personally as a mainly melee user, a light with evasive dash COMPLETELY counters every single melee in the ENTIRE game shit is actually ridiculous. The only way to fight a dash light with a melee weapon is to use evasive dash as well which should not be the way it is. Iâm not saying to nerf it into the ground but please add some kind of counter/option for melee users against dash lights

And finally invisibility is incredibly inconsistent across all platforms⊠PLEASE make it consistent. It should absolutely not under any circumstances make fights rely entirely upon how much money your willing to spend on you gaming system. On ps4 it is GENUINELY invisible while on a newer console/PC it doesnât even compare. This is by far my biggest gripe about the game in its current state.
P.s. I play all game modes and my opinion was formed by the entire game as a whole. Even if I only played game modes like power shift last time I checked itâs still a game mode in the finals so they should balance things with all the modes in mind.

The matchmaking is getting very out of hand. Out of the six or seven matches I played yesterday, all but one forced me to play with a pair of noobs or against multiple premade teams of sweatsâoften both. Just now I was matched against a 3-stack and neither of my teammates had above 50 wins. Then in the next match I was stuck on the other side of the coin and watched an entire team leave as one because we were playing so much better than they were. This matching really has to stop, Embarkâitâs destroying your game. Itâs not fun for the veterans, itâs not fun for the newbies, and itâs downright disrespectful to both. STOP matching solos with premade teams, and STOP matching noobs with veterans. Donât let this destroy everything youâve built up over all these seasons.

WT is literally a casual playlist and some people just want to have fun while playing a tournament style mode. Ideas for future KS-23 skins.
I think the current variety of cosmetic options for this shotgun is one of the weakest available. Most skins are just boring color patterns or iridescent glowing blobs of paint. There are only two skins that change the weapon model:
1.** Vintage Vengeance** - for fans of 1950s-1960s American cars
2. Toybox Trigger - for fans of the NERF X Barbie collaboration (in my personal opinion)
What I mean is: both of these skins are cool, but I don't want either of them. Neither of them matches the style of my characters. Therefore, I would like to see other variations for the KS-23:
- Eclipse Shade - a classic that modernizes any weapon into a tactical version, the choice of a professional.
- The Spark Within - âShow off your blazing personality,â a quote that perfectly describes what this skin offers.
- Grit & Glory - a skin that literally says that this weapon is used by a combat veteran. With this shotgun, he has fought in many wars, and most importantly, he is still as strong as ever.
- Virtual Extension 2\Arcada Obliterator - this is what the civilian version of the KS-23 looks like for the domestic market, used for hunting. Or maybe it will be the very shotgun from DOOM without which it is impossible to imagine arcade games of the 90s. In any case, it will look as badass as possible.

QoL changes and small buffs that will be great for weaker gadgets
Gadgets and Specializations:
Thermal vision - player model should have green glowing eyes to indicate the player is currently using thermal vision
Evasive Dash - Every dash should have a distinct sound, signaling that the user is about to reach their dash limit and or different color trail

Healing Beam** - Teammates with 50% or less health should see a "+" marker next to the user that has a healing beam equipped, signaling they could run towards them. Also applies to a light with Health Infuser.
Gravity Vortex - the change where the vortex stream is visible for all teams should be reverted and kept to only teammates.
Anti-Gravity Cube - The cube should be able to stick onto walls, making a horizontal gravity field. This opens up new strategies with it and brings it up to par with other gadgets.
Pyro Grenade - Fire spread radius should be increased to give it a terrain clearing ability, similar to the one it had during Season 1 & Season 2. Not unlimited range, but significantly higher than what we have currently.

The Finals is the best thing that has happened in FPS games since pre sliced bred. Unfortunately it is not fun to play any more in any game mode. I either melt the entire lobby or I get stomped so hard that all my teammates leave the game. Neither of the two outcomes is fun for anyone.
To have to wait longer for a match especially in WT and ranked to would be totally fine if matchmaking worked.

Embark as someone who loves the customisability of the game, please allow us to pick a point in the intro animation that will be used for the player card pose. This could be timeline slider, or to make QC easier, a step choice at every 0.5s or 1s in the animation cycle. It would make the game feel a lot more varied and allow for much more customisability from existing assets.

there are plenty of playstles left, we've been stuck with the same metapicks for months, and you've proven multiple times that you are just plain incapable of balancing weapons we already have.
This game has so much potential left, so stop dragging it out with useless and empty updates and actually put something new in them for once. Adding more weapons is a really good way to get new players, so please dont keep toying with your bored ass playerbase.
Rework grapple with distance-based cooldowns to compete better with dash
KS23 NEEDS HEADSHOTS
Ks23 was the guns that suffered the most from the removal of the ability to by pass manual action animations on patch 5.8, before that patch, the gun was not the best, but, it was viable. But now, even after the multiple ks23 buffs, the gun stills struggles in almost every situation.
The 5.8 change made it so all of the skill ceiling of the gun was gone, before, you were able to use QM between shots and combo it with winch(unlike model, every time you used QM with ks you lose fire rate, making it a high risk/high reward strat), allowing it to have a insane burst potential if you were good with it.
But now there is nothing. The dmg, mag, and ttk of the gun is mediocre compared to the rest of heavy arsenal, it feel clunky when using with every spec that is not C&S because of the 5.8 changes, and the destruction capabilities doesn't alleviate this issues.
So i propose this:
⊠Reduce the base dmg from 100 to 90 (The TTK and STK against every class stays the same) but give it a 1.5x headshot multiplier (135 dmg per headshot)
Most of this change is focused on bringing back the skill ceiling the gun lost after 5.8 patch without making it overpowered (I want Ks to be viable, not broken). This change would also increase the effectiveness of Ks close range while keeping the same ttk for long range fights.
⊠Increase the Damage Drop off Modifier from ~70% to ~78%
I still want to keep the 70 dmg per shot at longer ranges, long range shots are one of the most rewarding parts of Ks and now with headshots (105 dmg at long ranges) added to the equation it gives another layer of complexity that rewards good players.
⊠(Optional) increase mag size from 6 to 7
reducing the base dmg from 100 to 90 hurts the (already low) dmg per mag, going from 600 to 540 (one of the lowest dmg per mag on the heavy arsenal), so giving one more bullet would alleviate this issue

I have a really good idea for a medium gadget. ill be posting everyday about it untill it gets recognized. So think Just Cause 3/4. I think that there should be a gadget that has 2 deployable jet thrusters that are pretty small. They would interact with cashouts and other items. they push in whatever direction they were placed in and you can have a remote to activate them and deactivate them until the fuel is depleeted. Medium has needed a new gadget for a WHILE. Im someone who plays a lot with dematerializer, and that adds a lot of vertical gameplay with the cashout. you can move it down or up with jumpads and what not. but there is almost NO horizontal play in this game (around the OBJ at least) i think this would GREATLY add to the game and provide an entirely new way to play this game. PLEASE react to this with an emoji or something to help get this attention if you like the idea.

a continuation of some cool stuff i would like to see is some more counterplay to smoke. now, ive thought about this and giving thermal vision to a class wouldn't be the best way. so i thought of a thermal scope. this would have to be on a new weapon or the pike since light is currently the only way to counter smoke.
i would say putting a thermal scope on pike would justify a pike nerf as the thermal scope would make it significantly easier to spot enemies, or if we put it on a close range heavy weapon such as the shak would also justify a shak nerf.
allowing more counterplay to smoke would make smoke less frustrating to fight against especially triple smoke-thermal teams if you don't have thermal vision as a light. I think that the reticle should have some visibility, but not like the red dot or looking glass. reflection should be added to the scope too. having a simple and somewhat obstructive design on the lens would be the best, probably like something relating to the images below

Please remove the cashbox despawning when the timer runs out again.
Back then when you still had the cashbox, this gave you the chance to still come back by plugging both boxes and steal them. With this you had a chance to still get enough money to make it to the next round, even though you were last before for example. With the new system this isn't possible anymore and you already know that you have lost when the timer is up, but the box is still in your hands.

Great to see new players on the game but i have felt a noticeable uptick in cheaters and smurfs. Almost every match i play has several lights with an M11 or meds with an AK with absolutely 0 recoil. Iâve got around 1k hours in this game and itâs never felt this bad.

They really need to fix the matchmaking and team system. I just got back to playing after stopping in Season 3 â I was almost Diamond back then â and now it feels impossible to rank up. I keep getting matched with completely inexperienced players against well-balanced teams, and thatâs when people donât even disconnect. Iâm already on my third match either solo or with just one teammate. Iâm basically stuck ranking like a Bronze, and itâs a terrible experience.

however I also think you should have the ability to set the reticle either per gun or per gun type.

I was playing ranked today with some friends and we got against rubies too many times, considering we were still on platinum/gold. I know when you play in a closed lobby the game consider the highest ranking player, but still, getting against rubies was pretty annoying. I wouldn't mind having to wait a bit longer to find people with the same rank.

Love the game and the ability to earn a whole lot of stuff without having to spend a lot of money, like you could get the battlepass in a few seasons, and with the newer updates us the money to BUY THE ONES BEFORE THAT THAT U MISSED. amazing dev decicions, but for a suggestion: I know the ultimate premium battlepass thing was needed (so embark could actually earn some money from microtransactions) but plz dont continue to add things in the game that can only be purchased with real money. a few limited things would be fine, but the second you add a -super special premium ultimate- section to the shop, or a whole other battlepass, its gonna lean the opposite direction of what this game stands for
CL-40 is still incredibly strong and the sword buff was not only completely unnecessary but also made the weapon completely overpowered.
I canât speak for PC users but on console it is genuinely impossible to hit dash users consistently due to sensitivity.
There is definitely a wicked turret meta imo, APS turret not being countered by glitch grenade is definitely very ridiculous. One turret on its own is pretty bad but the more you stack them the more ridiculous they get.
Spear is also pretty oppressive which is a very unpopular opinion so itâs likely Iâm just bad against it.
Iâve already talked about it but sword is actually ridiculous in its current state and desperately needs a nerf. Its combo with evasive dash is actually crazy especially against console players who literally canât move their camera fast enough.
This is a huge one for me personally as a mainly melee user, a light with evasive dash COMPLETELY counters every single melee in the ENTIRE game shit is actually ridiculous. The only way to fight a dash light with a melee weapon is to use evasive dash as well which should not be the way it is. Iâm not saying to nerf it into the ground but please add some kind of counter/option for melee users against dash lights

And finally invisibility is incredibly inconsistent across all platforms⊠PLEASE make it consistent. It should absolutely not under any circumstances make fights rely entirely upon how much money your willing to spend on you gaming system. On ps4 it is GENUINELY invisible while on a newer console/PC it doesnât even compare. This is by far my biggest gripe about the game in its current state.
P.s. I play all game modes and my opinion was formed by the entire game as a whole. Even if I only played game modes like power shift last time I checked itâs still a game mode in the finals so they should balance things with all the modes in mind.

Iâm a WT player mostly and I started my placement games today. I played 2 with my friends who were high gold almost plat and we won 1st place in both. They got to plat and got off and I took a break. Just got back on to play my last two placements and both games I got matched with 2 golds on my team and I donât think anything of it until I got further into those games. They didnât seem like theyâve played the finals before. Sure enough, both those games I was given brand new level 20-30 players on my team in ranked. Mind you, I donât even ever see new players in world two and frequently get matched against diamond and rubies. Either no one likes to play ranked and new players find solace in ranked of all places or specifically the ranked matchmaking is terrible.

Even if it's not 40Âș,as long as any form of aim lock exists,sword will have the most idiotic handling. Since the rotation clamp is clearly the biggest thing that makes the weapon unusable, it should not exist in the game at all.You should just revert sword back to how it was in S1 and S2, when there was no multi-hit. Sword back then was a bit weak, but thatâs okay. Itâs better than receiving a dumb patch that destroys the weaponâs original identity, even if itâs a weaker weapon.
Because you thought sword was weak when there was no multi-hit,you patched multi-hit in.But because your obsession with keeping that led to the dumbest decision, even removing mechanics all other weapons have.
Every weapon, when in close range, can naturally move behind the enemy or slide behind and look back to hit. And dagger is a weapon specifically designed for that. So are you going to add aim lock to all weapons? Why, sword canât look back like all do? Every weapon can naturally look back and attack. But sword alone is restricted from doing that? Why do you discriminate only against the sword by calling it an âexploitâ when all melees can do it?
Wildly spinning the aim actually wasnât used, It was used only in very rare cases dumb enemies were stupidly stacked in one spot.
The occasional turning of aim was used to maximize multi-hit.
If the problem is wild turning, then just remove multi-hit.
Even if someone spins wildly, theyâd only hit one target. That solves the problem. Of course, dmg must also be reverted.

Hello I am Mach-One, S3 ruby, S4 to S6 Emerald 2.3k hrs of sword, 51k eliminations alone with sword, 1.1k hrs. of Dagger, 22k eliminations (I reach Emerald/Ruby using both these clunky weapons). Please rebalance the power of Sword from M1 spamming to using M1 to M2 both

⊠Primary Attack
Decreased damage from 88 to 74 (reverting old values)
Increased the attack duration from 0.6s to 0.65s, slightly slowing the primary attack speed
⊠Secondary Attack
Increased the speed of the lunge from 1750 to 1800 (1800-1850 is ideal)
Increased angle of rotation clamping from 40 degree to 60 degrees
( 60-75 degrees is the sweet spot)
⊠Note: Please Devs, if you can make Sword/Dagger have more movement speed/lunge speed and less reliant on dash that could open more viable playstyles (Cloak, Grapple Dagger/Sword) in high elo (without spamming M1 and actually utilizing M2 alongside grapple/cloak), it would be in a healthy spot.
Multi-Hit Dmg lunge scales down the more opponents you hit upon (120/90/60/30 and so on) or just remove multi-hit and revert dmg to atleast 140 dmg
⊠Note: Dash spam to M1 spam only works if your opponent has potato aim, if even for a slighty bit your opponent was paying attention, this strategy is useless and High-Elo Swords won't even think of this as an option
or the healthy one where if you can manage your M2 lunge speed jump combo to gap-close instantly surprising the Ruby/Emerald Player followed up by M1 spam which the ruby/emerald player actually deserved to die.
This would fix a lot of reddit/discord complains in low elo lobbies regarding M1 spam and incentivise the usage of both M1 and M2 attacks alternatively reducing annoyance. IF youre' reading this devs please take a look also on Sh1900 range and max dmg, it really needs to be capped at 145 dmg due to the surge of rage swappers that crutch on the weapon making the lobby less gruesome to player even high ranks are sick of these sort of behavior

Ever since this new update, my game has been crashing. I canât play longer than 2 minutes before it shuts off. Iâve reset the PlayStation and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. This has never happened before and I can guarantee that it isnât my internet. I miss when guns were undisputed meta. As an fps player watching melee, grenade launchers flamethrowers etc continually being buffed and pushed into the meta I've for the first time seriously been turned off by the game recently to the point where I'd rather play other fps games. Not to mention stun gun was complained about religiously but now heavy has 2 stun guns (claw + lockbolt). I feel like the "can't aim" audience keeps getting more and more love each season while guns get nerfed constantly. Idk what this game is now but the shooter aspect keeps suffering. After 1.5k hours I really just feel like having good aim etc means less and less each season...

- Revert the nerf of the XP54. What's the point of putting XP at 16dmg when M11 (an other SMG) do the same, faster & with more bullets ?
- Rework Nulifier (again) : When you get it by the "Taser" recoil is increased but you can still move as you want & you take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity during 3 sec. Can hit multiple target when you shoot.
- Increase the hip fire of the CB01-Repeater
- Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light & it can be use for your teammates too !
- Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
- Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did here
- Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safer !
- Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do 5 damages. It's already strong enough
- Rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR for example.
The effort to play Light correctly is too damn high compared to Medium & Heavy class. There is no fun at all playing Light. The fact is we never saw a Light META since the launch of this game compare to M & H. It's say a lot about the game & the balance
Light are getting vanish by 80% of the weapons in your game and can't get a proper 1v1 without get instant kill. You destroyed the stun gun. You destroyed the XP54. Every viable weapons or gadget has been destroyed nerf after nerf because of player that can't track properly a class with 150HP.

- Improve your netcode/tickrate ! Dying behind cover is not acceptable at all ! Dash is not viable because of this and it's worst with a good connection !
- Flamethrower & hook should NOT get you through walls, doors and farer than it should be

- Having good connection = Death behind wall, door, ect...

I've been saying it alot but with the release of a new map, it would be nice to have them in a limited time event at first, with locked weapons and skins specific to that map's timeframe (medieval -> knights armors, healing beam, swords, bows etc... ; steampunk -> engineer fits, turret, revolvers, hammers etc...). Remove the surrounding arena and announcers during the limited time gamemode, for immersion. And after a couple of days, the map can be released for all the regular modes, in the same arena vibes.
I feel like we need to chill a bit about all the sponsor things, arena vibes and announcers. It's very cool and part of the lore ofc, but bit redundant. With all the possibilities that The Finals has, it's a shame they don't utilize it more. It has always been kind of this arena (S4 Fortune stadium, S5 Las Vegas but arena...), even Bernal in Mexico, from time to time, can feel more arena-ry than an actual city with all those paintings and sponsors everywhere.
Like @Shadowz, imo Kyoto was the best map in that regard, felt very immersive, and that's what made me wanna buy the ninja outfit in the store, and also start maining the throwing knives. -- so maybe this strategy can help boost sales aswell (=incentivizing certain weapons and gameplays with a theme, and sell them in the store to fit in the newsetting)
Season 7 was a banger tho, much more theme focused, and developped (lore wise). Really enjoyed it. It's not my favorite theme but still 10/10.

please comsider play testing adding chip damage to riot shields (just like with the dual blades, but in three or so damage threshold stages. first one competely blocks, second chip damage, third is where more damage is present.) This is a way of nerfing the riot shield without ever making it a temporary destructable thing, or completely changing other aspects of it like movement speed, swing damage ect.
the reason is that this could potnetially get riot ehield users to grow a bit more cuatious when overly pursuing people, penalize reckless engagemente and thing a bit more before challenging certain areas.

Itâs not simply determined by the seed thing. It should be obvious that what happened here is that the ranks were simply close enough to one another between teams that being 7th among them was not enough to make being eliminated in the first round a better than average outcome. You quite objectively performed worse than expected, you just werenât shown the explanation of why. Xth seed does not mean the expected outcome is Xth place, that wouldnât make sense mathematically.
If you got seeded eigth and there was still a minor negative reward for coming fourth but a positive one for third, it would have meant that the server was almost perfectly balanced in terms of the RS of the enemy teams with regards to your own, so that would be seen as a good thing!

Make it that to double the last cashout, you HAVE to have ownership, and it also takes a 10 second timer to plug it.

Embark, even though I've been asking for changes to the matchmaking since the end of Season 2, and you're not going to change anything, could you at least provide information on your website (add comments sections so people can write something) about its current state? As well as commenting on the pros and cons of the current system, alternatives, challenges (I understand that given the number of players we currently have, it's extremely difficult to find something that's fair to everyone, because I understand that we'd be talking about people who are in a team and have high ELO potentially waiting in queue for something like 30 minutes), what matchmaking systems you have set up in other game modes that aren't ranked (if there is something), etc...
Like I said, I have no hope that you'll change anything anymore. I understand that from your point of view everything is perfect, even though we post endless complaints here, but it would at least be great if you gave some information, thanks.

Add kusarigama for light OR MEDIUM class,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage ONLY where blade hits NOT the WHOLE CHAIN,itâs skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction,a mix of projectile and melee.
To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.
There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim
U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.
Either u canât use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else itâs the most dull experience chasing player as a medium
nerf/rework riot shield. im fine with melee weapons being a very viable choice but riot is legit just anti fun and feels like there is basically no counterplay in 1v1 like situations. the core design of the weapon is antifun in nature as it just feels very weird to fight and leads to frustration in many, especially newer players in uncoordinated teams.
also decrease the stun on winch. again, this spec basically allows for 0 counterplay, is insane for getting important picks as any winched enemy basically becomes a free kill (especially lights that don't run dash just die without a chance), it can manipulate cashout, steal vaults from players hands, etc.
such an insanely good spec with so many use cases in so many situations shouldn't also act as a "press for free kill button" on top of that.
@grand prairie classes other than heavy with flamethrower exist. you shouldn't have to be forced into counterpicking riot with such a specific loadout. if were to face a riot shield main on close range as a med with pike, for example, i can either die or run anway for 30 seconds. that's no fun for me OR the riot player.
Custom goo gun goo(blob) colors would be cool
Riot Shield just needs tweaks. It is very easy to counter a Riot Shield by using Goo Gun and Flamethrower, or Goo Gun and Pyro Grenades.
Goo stops them from moving, and then you light the goo on fire which bypasses the ability for the Riot Shield to block the Flamethrower.
Winch might just need a longer cooldown when you winch a Player specifically. If you winch a Cashout or a Vault, give it the normal cooldown, but winching a player gives a longer cooldown.
I don't think making damage go through the shield is a good decision. Because what's the point of shield if damage goes through it? But in terms of nerf, you're absoluetly right, riot shield definitely needs a tweak.
And I noticed, all melees had kind of a debuff when doing certain actions:
- Dagger, Sword, Throwing knives: can't sprint while holding right click
- Dual Blade: can't block while attacking
- Spear: can't cancel spin
...
In my opinion, the shield needs a mechanic that you need to take consideration of when making a play. It's too stoopid/braindead in it's current state. (and no, running sideways isn't a skillful mechanic)
I suggest giving it a debuff while sprinting with Shift. It doesn't make sense that, a guy with half of his hitbox reduced can chase you at the same speed as you and just damage almost 100 per hit. While you can't do anything about it.
For easier hitbox recognition, either:
- Make the riot shield swing back and forth while sprinting.
- Make the riot shield be worn on the back of the player while he sprints. (I like this one more as it can gives the riot shield some good plays potential)

If I understand it correctly, the ultimate battle pass costs the same whether or not you already have the premium battle pass, and I feel like it should be cheaper if you already have the premium pass. For example, I've completed the current premium pass but if I change my mind and want the ultimate pass skins, I have to pay the same price (about ÂŁ23).

-lower damage or attack speed of throwing knives, i dont know why you thought a 1-2 shot "melee" thats also ranged was a good idea (i call it melee because it requires no aiming up close)
-sword secondary dash is too fast now, people can and do just spam it for far more mobility and damage
-doublebarrel needs tweaks, maybe longer reload time, right now its a delete button with a 2 second reload
-to add, ARN also needs tweaks, its just a 60rnd AR which makes it probably the best light gun (maybe in general too) overall, its like xp+m11 except better
medium:
-demat needs nerf, being able to delete and respawn a floor for a free cashout grab isnt fun and frankly goes against the point of the game which is destruction, i think it should only allow people to pass through, but prevent props or physical items from passing through, that way you cant just drop a cashbox and then seal the roof
-pike needs a nerf, damage can stay but it needs like, 2-3x more recoil, it has absolutely no recoil in exchange for high range and high damage, decent firerate, not to mention a decent magsize, how was this ever balanced
-i forgot about the cl40, it needs less splash damage or something, its a 3-4 shot noob tube that requires literally no aiming, its not op but its horribly unfun to fight against when someone can just m1 from across the map without aiming and get kills
heavy:
-should get an actual normal shotgun, the ks23 is just a discount sniper rifle in every way, and its RNG spread makes it painful and anti-player, and the sa1216 just is annoying to use and gimmicky, just give a normal shotgun, spas12 or something

no i think the melee design in this game is one of the best features of it. It's not overpowered, but it's viable.
The Lag in the Finals servers is so bad the game cannot run in real time and my shots lag a second behind where I am even firing them. @rare spear Please work on getting the servers fixed. It has been the same servers since season 1 and they need and upgrade.

Embark are useless. Many of us are quitting the game because of the stupid decisions they make. It's getting worse, and they still haven't removed the Cl-40 from the game. They're truly a group of useless incompetents who don't want to see the game flourish. Many new players stop playing when they find themselves with the Cl-40 and other broken weapons.

It is extremely difficult to balance all three classes in the game for both casual and competitive play, as many people with experience in the game have mentioned
However, the current state of the three classes does not seem balanced, instead, light is advantageous in fights against both heavy and medium. - under the context of casual play. my observation is that most players play on their own or with one to two friends, and for solo queue in casual mode, it is almost impossible to coordinate teammates - the reality is that the only thing as a counter to light's extremely fast time to kill, as some may have pointed out, strategy and prevention - is not achievable in the everyday game.
I've enjoyed parts of the game since the open beta. from my experience of the game, perhaps we are lost in the positioning of the three classes. while heavy's role as a tank remains firm, the roles of light and medium becomes increasingly blurred, especially since the inception of the H+ infuser. heavy remains in its role without major traverse tools, with the anti gravity cube being a slight exception, though i would not classify it as a traversal tool. however, light and medium both access traversal tools, famously the jump pad, ziplines for medium and portal for light. Light in addition has two specialisations that allow for rapid - split second movements.
The truth is ugly but if the ttk of any class is lower than human reaction, it is impossible to create any enjoyable casual experience, and or may lead to medium being underutilized or to cease to mean anything as a class going forward.

Idea for a game show event: Heatwave. All greenery and goo catches fire instantly, gas explodes immediately, and all orange/red canisters melt/explode. Fire effects last 1.5 times longer, and a screen distortion effect appears where the air is distorted, like it would be in a desert. Melee weapons apply two ticks of fire damage, and ranged weapons apply one.

New gadget for heavies: monkey in a barrel. Throwable gadget that spawns little monkeys to attack nearby enemies. They have little HP so they go down pretty easy, but they're good for finishing off a low HP target on their own.

all the ingenious selfless gameplay of heavy has been completely dead since season 3 while embark does nothing but nerf everything around it and refuse to buff mesh (objectively better design special with real mechanical difficulty in using it well).

This isnt desync, this isnt clientside shenanigans this is PURELY AWFUL GAME DESIGN. Yet embark allows it to not only exist but allows it to recieve consistant buffs while the rest of heavies kit gets crushing nerfs.

I really think throwing knives need some kind of rework because right now theyâre extremely powerful with very few drawbacks. they kill basically all classes in 2-3 swings, theyâre extremely fast so the other guy can barely fight you unless he sees you first (in which case you can still win because again, insane damage) and you have infinite ammo so thereâs nothing stopping you from just holding fire and looking in an enemyâs general direction. Theyâre just way too strong as they are.
maybe make it so that you can only throw 6 at one time (3 swings, the typical kill amount) before you have to wait for them to restock.
maybe make the damage fall off drastically the further away you are, meaning you have to get in dangerously close
maybe even make it so that melee players are able to knock them away if they swing at the right time, making it dangerous to challenge the wrong players at close range
literally anything will do but what we have now, throwing knives are flat out unfair. you donât have to be smart about using them, theyâre a âwin gunfightâ button 90% of the time
REMOVE DOUBLE PLUGGING ALTOGETHER
you can be doing great and then you'll be fighting a 3v6 after the top team decides to team up with one other team
it hurts more since you can't team up with the last remaining team since there's no incentive for them to also help you
this has also devolved into teams being passive through the game in hopes of being seen as the weakest team just to be griefed in by the top team
in low ranked lobbies it's exciting and fun since you get the chance for a comeback but in high tier lobbies it's now a strat that gets abused 4/5 games and it's almost impossible to fight 2 teams for one cashbox, specially if they are helping each other

Dang, currently playing on the OG Vegas, I feel like it's so much more interesting than it's "upgraded" version.
I think it's the amount of details, that make it for me. It really feels like a map, where u can enjoy DESTRUCTION.
The more recent maps we've gotten really feels too empty. I know they're supposed to be arenas. But it's not as fun as OG Vegas, where u can really see a lived in map. The destruction feels even better with all the chairs, money machines, bars, street decors etc... and throwable props
It really feels like the newer maps are optimized and designed for fair fights and less chaos/destruction. (empty rooms, symmetry etc...)

embark can we possibly make guns lvl up a little faster. as someone that like to be a gun lvl chaser it actually impossible to max out all weapons in my class type before the new season come out with another
add a way for medium and heavy to counter smoke. i know proximity sensor exists, but it does nothing if the enemy doesnt move and doesnt help u navigate enviorment. im tired of being lost in smoke agaisnt lights with thermal vision, with no way to counter it. even when i get them im still lost and cant help anyone else cause my dumbass stuck in a tree and dont know it. maybe make proximity sensor highlight enviorment in smoke? sumthin atleast
Just use gas, they can barely tell difference between gas n smoke anyways so free dmg on already such a low health pool enemy
Fix the respawn director that became way too aggressive with mid season patch. Two teams spawning on one active cashout, as the other point is left uncontested - this happens way too frequently.

Review the grind for world tour. Getting to the second round feels like it should reward a touch more. I feel like i've played so many games this season and world tour shouldn't be as grindy as it is if it's the more casual version of ranked. Yes i win here and there but man... i'm burnnning out OR...

This is minor (but hopefully easy). Can intros, emotes, etc be tied to outfits rather than contestant slots? Usually with an outfit I'm going for a theme that the intros and emote play into. For example, my alien Elvis costume concept falls flat when I switch the costume to a different contestant who just has the Ospuze sponsor intro.

- Increase walkout time when your team is being introduced and doing emotes by 2-3 seconds, making it roughly similar in length to the victory equivalent. Many emotes that have "crescendos" in the latter half are cut off when set as intro, as seemingly the introduction time is 5ish seconds while many emotes take 7-9 seconds to fully play out.
- (Unranked only, basically only came back to play more powershift this season so I've no idea what the matchmaking in the other modes are like but I assume at least Head2Head and Terminal Attack might have similar issues. Take this suggestion with a grain of salt.) Prioritize matching parties/club parties against each other as much as possible when available. Feels like half the time you're facing seal team six in a discord call telling each-other where you are after they've died while you have next to no communication other than pings and average teamplay. In some ways this can't be helped until people start talking in games more again, but what would supplement this is at least prioritize giving you teammates of roughly the same level instead of randomly throwing three lvl 30s and below at you against a club 4 stack of lvl 70+'s like it's a scripted match. No offense to the lower levels, it takes time to learn the game sense to play with and around your team without having to speak. All the better for them (low lvls) as well, as I can't imagine matches like that are fun for most of them either.
