yeah sword needs to be reverted or atleast given something to compensate for the new damage numbers
I think they should turn goo gun into gadget, like, the spec it self is good, but other ones just overshadows it. So IMO, it should be gadget and not spec

There are too many cool skins for a single weapon. I would love to see the ability to equip multiple weapon skins and have them cycle either at the start of every round or even after even respawn. Honestly anyway to show off more skins would be appreciated

Id love a slight rework of how the ARN reload works, the idea of the gun sounds really cool but in practice spraying 7 bullets at a wall to get the fast reload is just clunky and unsatisfying. Id love if it got reworked, for example single tapping R while you have 2 mags does the fast reload even if its not empty, and double tapping R does a full reload. That would probably solidify its niche as a useful and intuitive feature rather than a gimmick that people dont really respect

Embark. I love this game as much as the next player, but this is absurd. The times that I can play the finals means I cannot play world tour or ranked in my region. Playing in other regions severly hinders my skill and enjoyment of the game. Please allow us to reroll circuit contracts, especially gold ones.
Embark, why did you nerf the sword but not get rid of phantom strikes. You literally admitted to knowing about it but still didn't do anything about it. Now for the sword to be even somewhat competitively viable you HAVE to use a bug. Why are you PROMOTING a playstyle which isn't meant to be in the game in the first place???

You MUST revert sword back to 140 damage. sword was balanced. just remove phantom strike . That damage was completely fair and wellācalculated. Claiming sword was ānerfed for lightsā is simply wrongālights have always been its natural counter. Compared to a 'oneāshot' with lunge + quickāmelee, Cerberus is far more oppressive. So sword must have lunge + QM 'one-shot' light kill, because light is counter to sword, as everyone knows. You keep saying youāre nerfing for lights, but the real beneficiaries are the mediums. Mediums are the most powerful class in The Finals, and sword needs to have its original 140 lunge to at least be competitive against them. also, without at least 140 damage on lunge, itās never viable against heavies.
Additionally, ranged weapons are strong not only at distance but also in close quarters. Yet meleesāwhich canāt exert any power at rangeāmust naturally be devastating up close. The idiots who have never used melee donāt understand that you have to shut down melees before they get in range, because they lack the intelligence to grasp how difficult it is to approach a ranged weapon firing from the roof.

That stun gun change is what Iāve been thinking! It makes so much sense as it is less oppressive in 1v1s and more of an option that benefits teamwork. It should also work off of charge, so make the maximum charge however long it used to stun. This way it can still be used to quickly stop steals without wasting the stun, but canāt be used in a 1v1 scenario

I think some sort of option for screen indecation for certain things would help, like letās say thereās someone walking close to you on the right hand side, in the middle or come here convenient on your screen you could get a little footstep icon on that side, similar to how a few other games have it.
(Because people that can hear from only one ear canāt really tell where the sound is coming from with headphones on so without comms Iām pretty much just guessing, and ppl that canāt hear at all would be able to play the game if that change was made)

Look, Iāll be honest. I only play sword š”ļø, I donāt care to much about any changes. I just like playing sword as long as I can dash attack, even if it did 50 dmg I would still have fun with it.
What I would love as someone who has recently started getting into Star Wars, I would love a laser sword skin. I recommend a battlepass type skin that you unlock the basic color at the beginning and as you progress through the battle pass you unlock other colors or variations and then to follow the lever rifle skin, maybe make the last laser sword either reactive to actions or RGB š
Either way I donāt care how powerful the sword actually is, just please make sure itās still fun to use. Maybe also a laser sword skin so I can feel badass š
P.s. - Lazer dual swords with medium would be great too⦠they literally reflect bullets⦠like Jedi.

Plz make offensive gadgets viable again. Explosive mines, frag grenades, c4, rpg... They deserve more love than just "the ability to do chip damage" or "win the lottery to do damage"(in the case of C4).

Hello Embark! I really like what you all did with the Risk and Reward World Tour Event a few weeks ago! I feel it had a positive impact on the META weapons and really changed to META because there was a good incentive to try new things! I know a lot of people sticked with their weapons even after that World Tour Week! What Iām asking is for more events in-game that give a slight META shift without any new weapons entirely or balance changes!

Sniper shift sucks, every game is just people camping with snipers and not playing the objective
we should be able to select multiple people in our friends list and remove them at once. We should also be allowed to request to join party's of those within our friends list.
Still enjoying the game, but as a casual player I know that I have ZERO chance of finishing this circuit. The last challenge says to earn at least 45,000 dollars on 3 different rounds, and I have yet to win a single wt round (not for lack of trying, either), and my chances in ranked aren't looking very good either. I know I'm bad at the game and some things should be out of reach, but 45,000 in even one round is going to be a serious struggle for me.

Imagine doing strike a pose for a second time. How is this going to fix the 3rd partying? Or is WT no longer a testing ground anymore for real changes? Seems like it's been reduced down to a place for extra nonsense. Which is fine I guess; I was under the impression though, it was to test stuff to address issues for the mode as a whole.
I would prefer to see a change tested where people earn based on the amount they hold the cashout for & if they manage to hold it 100% get a bonus payout.
I'm writing this as a player who would love to log on regularly to play. If powershift or TDM is the only thing that is enjoyable now to me as a solo player & even those aren't all that fun due to it either being a steamroll or being steamrolled; then I am not going to waste my time.
Especially when there isn't a custom games lobby to better encourage community interaction & replayibility when no events, etc to progress.
An idea for Power Shift: A really annoying "strat" some troll teams will do is push the platform about 75% and jump off to set up spawn traps and stall the match. These lobbies are no fun because the match will take the full 10 minutes, nobody gets to play the game, half of the victim team will quit early, etc.
A potential solution would be for teams to incur some sort of penalty for not touching the platform. For instance, if your team is in the lead but nobody has touched the platform for a certain amount of time, your team would start to slowly lose health until the platform moves again.
Or perhaps the losing team in that scenario could get a buff, instead of penalizing the leading team. Perhaps if the leading team hasn't pushed the platform in 30 seconds, your team gets a health bump until the platform moves.
With either option, it should affect the entire team, and not just individual players (since some strategies legitimately require some teammates to remain away from the platform), but either option would ensure that the platform stays in motion, and would dissuade griefers from stalling matches. This idea also leans further into the "Power Shift" identity, as this literally shifts power between teams as they progress the objective.

I'm trying to play ranked with my gold and bronze friends. I'm a platinum player. The game thinks that my friends are smurfs and put us against diamond and ruby. How can this be fun for us? We just lose every match unless top team is griefing and letting us win because we're shit. Because this is every match, it's really worth an uninstall.

Nerf the CB's fire rate.
Nerf Cerberus damage.
Nerf CL back to where it was.
Nerf defib:
- Either limit it's pick rate per team to prevent 3x Medium defibs or lower the defib health regain for Medium as a deterent.
Buff Riot Shield or change it's mechanics.
Buff dual blades, or change their mechanics.
Bring back KS and other animation cancels for specializations.
Add a grenade indicator.
Put glitch mines on Light or Heavy and nerf them. Maybe have their do a burst of glitch, not a consistent one.
Overall, I believe this game is suffering from Medium's current style. It is designed to be able to do basically everything combat-wise, which is ridiculous. You want to snipe? Medium can do it. You want to melee? Medium can do it. You want to use a shotgun at close quarters? Medium can do it.
I understand that Medium is meant to be a Jack of all trades kind of deal, but it should be capable at most, but a master at nothing in specific. Instead, it's a must-have for sweats who want to optimize everything, and they get the best of both worlds because of how Medium currently it.
Medium can perform support duties:
- Healing
- Defib
- Mines
- Turrets
Medium can perform movement duties:
- Zipline
- Jump Pad
- Demat
Medium can perform combat effectively and indepedently with it's variety of weapons.
- You can have 1 person for long range.
- 1 for close.
- 1 for mid.
While all still having a defib to bring themselves back, effectively giving everyone on the team 2 lives. And also having the movement and support responsibilities that Light/Heavy should be handling.
Medium is the problem in this game because it has essentially nill drawbacks, BESIDES area destruction... which can now just be substituted with expo canisters and grenades. Change how Medium works, stop freaking out about Light and Heavy being too strong, they both have very noticable weaknesses, while Medium really doesn't (other than destruction). It's infuriating seeing the 3x Medium meta, and it's even more unfun to play against. You made 3 classes for a reason, make them all a viable choice, preferably being LMH instead of a 3x of ANY CLASS.
Also, criticism is welcome.
Please buff spear, or at least just fix its hit registration problem. I could make a montage of my spear fazing through enemies at this point.

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.
With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.
Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.
Breach charge should break smaller holes in walls so lights can minimise exposure that large destructon has right now, because u have 3 charges u can still make bigger holes.It should still stack damage.
I think it's a bit odd that you describe the situation like this since the other classes can similarly fulfil most roles and have a variety of ways to specialise their builds. I would say it's more pertinent to ask what a class cannot do. And I may have missed something obvious, so feel free to counter, but in my mind it's just:
light: cannot fulfil a fortification role
medium: cannot fulfil a destruction role
heavy: cannot fulfil a movement role
that said, you could say that medium's a bit shaky on that assertion thanks to demat.
Add a feature to preview what an expression will look like on the player card before you buy.

Sbmm in ranked only applies to the highest ranked player in the party, aka you, a platinum. Itās common for platinums to end up against diamonds and rubies, since not a lot of people are that high

Where stun gun?
Goo-gum should get a rework. Goo-gun sounds really strong on paper, can stop steals, can build bridges and other things. But in-game you will rarely use all these techs, and other specs are pretty much better than goo-gun. My solution is turning goo gun into a gadget, giving it a rework, making magazine include 10 goos instead of 20, And Make it so that there are 10 magazines in stock, and if you spend one, and this one magazine will reload 10-15 seconds. Hi devs! Loving THE FINALS, but I think the "NEED HELP" voice commands and enemy marking could be more situational and impactful. Hereās how:
- Contextual "NEED HELP" Voicelines
Currently, characters often say "Help, Iām stuck!"āwhich rarely fits actual gameplay. Suggested fixes:
During Reloads (especially long ones):
"Iām reloadingācover me!"
"Out of ammo, need backup!"
"Swapping mags, help!"
(Current reload lines are too random and lack urgency.)
During Objective Interactions (revives, stealing Cashout, etc.):
"Reviving a teammateāwatch my back!"
"Stealing the Cashout, need support!"
"Carrying the Cashboxācover me!"
- Improved Enemy Marking for Low-HP Targets
Since enemy HP is visible, marking should highlight critical threatsāespecially in solo queue without mics. Examples:
Marking a weak enemy (e.g., <25% HP):
"The enemy is barely breathingāfinish him!"
"Enemy critical, donāt let them escape!"
This would make pings more tactical and help teams prioritize targets without voice chat and make soloq expiriance more pleasent in general.

Itās not like SMGs where you can just switch to another flavor smg if you nerf one hardā thereās no viable or comparable melee weapon for lights. Completely gutting sword is like removing the light class overnight, or leaving behind a sad shell of what it once was ā just an excuse to say itās still there, while quietly reaching the same end goal of disabling it.

Ranked > Incentives for being first need to be implemented
- High ELO Cashout is, play everything correctly or mostly correctly, but you end up getting griefed due to the double mechanic, and the first team being "safe" as there's no good reason for them to stay first.
- The incentive to being first and how it differs from ranked was highlighted in PHL, where second and first had a solid difference in points gained based on positioning.
- Yes there was griefing, but not to the extent of double last box haha focus second team fair gameplay.
Cashout still has issues:
- S3 promised a more robust and balanced gamemode as it was āshelvedā temporarily for TA. We have not received much, and the only changes have been to WT have not affected Ranked in the slightest.
- WT, introduced as an experimental ground, hasn't tweaked significantly with the rules, and any tweaks have not impacted ranked in the slightest.
- Spawn quality has deteriorated since the beginning of Season 6, Monaco especially has been affected the worst and continues to play horrible due to the spawns piling up on one active cashout.
- Not sure why we have to wait for weeks to fix a bug in the spawns
Balancing:
While most balancing is in a good place, there are a few outliers. The Cerb and the DB have way too much damage potential, and i'm honestly surprised sword got nerfed for "1-tap" potential when you can literally 1 tap lights with both, 1 tap mediums with DB, 2 tap mediums with cerb. The fire effect is also weird for the cerb, if i'm outside the supposed effective range, a pellet will still set me on fire, and chunk my hp which both slows my regen, and also is a weird feature. it's horrible to play both of these weapons on either light or medium.
Modes:
I'm a player who puts in time and is somewhat decent at the game, but if i ever want to try out wacky loadouts that i don't typically play with, there is no mode where i'm able to do that without running into either cringelords or sweats.

Stun gun rework: Make it so you hold it down to fire and it keeps stunning a target as you hold. Give it a charge like cloak and thermal vision that lasts as long as the stun effect used to last. This makes it less useful for 1v1s but more of a teamwork option, while still being able to do short bursts so you can catch up to enemies or interrupt steals. Being able to stop steals repeatedly might be a problem, but goo gun can do that too and nobody really uses it so I donāt think it will be that bad. If it is too bad though, you could just make a āstun invincibility periodā after getting stunned

BUFF THE V9S
No one ever plays it anymore because it has seen no improvements while other weapons across all classes have increased in light killing effectiveness. Its a single fire weapon that sucks at range, but hipfire is unreliable, so you end up losing close quarters most times. It can't even kill a medium by surprise if they have good reflexes, unless you literally hit EVERY SINGLE shot. You miss literally once and you're dead. Increase damage and reduce mag size, or reduce recoil. It is in a miserable state.
People say that its good because a full mag does 800 dmg, no, a full mag does 800 dmg only at <10 meters, then damage MAJORLY falls off. It takes 7 SHOTS to kill a LIGHT at 20 meters, whereas XP takes 9 shots, but the XP has a MUCH higher firerate and larger mag size, plus its full auto so you can just hold down and aim, instead of picking and choosing your shots. LH1, another single fire weapon, only takes 4, and thats after the nerf. The only time the V9S outshoots the XP is at <10 meters, but single fire weapons at close range is not reliable. You can easily hipfire the XP and hit far more shots than V9S, solely because you can afford to miss a few times in your spray.
When compared to medium weapons, FCAR, FAMAS, etc we get the same results. TTK data is misleading because it assuming 100% hit shots, so heres # of shots to kill:
Medium v V9S At 10 meters:
Automatics:
FCAR 7 = 7
AKM 8 > 7
Single Fire / Burst:
FAMAS 7 = 7 (burst fire, so 3 clicks)
Pike 3 < 7
Revolver 3 < 7

Turning private matches into a custom games lobby should be a huge priority. Especially if you want to bring modes out of rotation.
I understand the change regarding Bank It; although I think it would've made more sense in my opinion to replace it with a Free For All instead. I imagine though it wasn't an efficient use of server capacity or whatever having it reserved for it.
That being said people shouldn't require a private group or look for one externally. A lobby where people could list public or private rooms would solve this. A versatile space for whatever. Making friends or joining clubs, playing less popular modes, creating their own with custom game settings, easter egg hunting, etc.

I hope the minigun gets only the 5% accuracy buff while moving and 10% while standing still, it feels too good. I liked it at launch, same with the cerberus. They felt way more rewarding back then, but people cried.
I know a lot of people don't like melee weapons (ok understandable) but so many of them are in such a bad place right now. Not because the melee weapons are bad but just because of how dominant many of the other classes short ranged weapons are. Cerberus, Double Barrel, and Minigun are all guns that just out ttk every melee weapon easily in addition to being able to deal damage from range. I would love to see something done about this in the mid season patch please embark!
Please remove "objectives" in the **Lockbolt **description. That literlly makes zero sense to have that as an attribute. More people use that specification to glitch the functionality and not for what the devs intended it to be used for.
The cardboard guns are a 10/10, although they're pretty expensive (please lower the price for LATAM). I'd love it if they added a skin for the revolver or some pistol that shoots with your hand, that would be awesome. Thanks for the cardboard guns, they're really good!
Good take - melee weapons should have a VERY strong niche at point blank range but theyāre currently all outclassed by guns. Riot shield and dual blades are arguably in the worst spot.
For riot shield in particular, on top of low overall DPS theyāve made it INSANELY UNFORGIVING to land hits, you have to practically be inside of your target and swing at the very center of their model, otherwise you miss.
Melee weapons shouldnāt demand so much of your aim
Revert Sword Lunge to 140. Removing Lunge + QM combo vs Light when Light kills Light fast with literally anything is nonsensical. Only change needed = Fix phantom strikes.
Sword was somewhat balanced.
No synergy with Dash = Would be too immobile for Light melee that needs multiple hits
No QM synergy = Breakpoints would be too slow for Light melee that needs multiple hits, requires not overshooting lunge to make it harder to aim at you, must stop right beside enemy to QM
No multihit = Would be useless if >1 enemy, in melee as lowest HP class but 0 breakpoints hit on anyone except first.
-Multihit should be nerfed to reduce damage per enemy by 25 for each new enemy hit per lunge. e.g. first enemy full dmg, second enemy in same lunge = 115 dmg and so on to reduce insta team kill.
No lingering flicks = Would be too readable for Light melee that needs multiple hits
Sword is the single worst weapon in the game. Not only is it melee on lowest HP class, you removed every single breakpoint fast enough to work vs even remotely competent players.

The Finals does not need more ARs, SMGs, LMGs, Shotguns, or DMRs.
I have consistently seen people suggesting new weapons in the aforementioned weapon categories. The reason I believe that we have more than enough of these kinds of weapons is fairly simple: they will inevitably either be better than the currently available options, resulting in power creep, or they will be like the ARN and inferior to available options.
Even if they do somehow miraculously nail the balance where everything is equal in power, it would not change the fact that there would be very little different or unique mechanically. That's understandable in games like Battlefield or CoD where they are basing their options on current or near future options, but this game is not constrained in that way.
The Finals is set in a VR game show. They can add basically any weapon concept, and it'll fit with the setting. A wizard staff that shoots lighting, bouncing disk launchers, throwing axes, the zero point energy manipulator from Half Life 2, they all would fit right in. Not only would they fit, they would offer completely unique mechanical challenges, instead of just mild differences in recoil, damage, and reload speed.
Ok, now is the time when you reply with some form of "I can't read more than one sentence" and pat yourself on the back for being a comedy genius.

Defending team in TA should not be able to come and shoot you where you spawn right when the game starts. They should have a larger area to work with after the prep time ends but they shouldnāt have the entire map available. I cant tell you how many times an entire team of lights 5 stacking will just turn the game into a tdm where they have the advantage of knowing where the entire enemy team is.
I really don't like the hardware stress test option that pops up before launching the game after a game crash. It just adds an extra layer to get through to reconnect in time

Matchmaking experience for quickcash is still horrible... Absolutely making me not want to play the game. Duos that have no ability to play the objective, people with over 60 account levels blatantly griefing the match and not even going towards the objective. Kyoto is miserable with revolver, getting stuck inside of dematted buildings, even unable to mantle chest height broken parts of buildings on that map. Just not having fun with the game in these matches.

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.
With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
V9s isn't fun to use and zero reason to pic over xp and M11 so to make it better it could have perfect hipfire accuracy like counter strike and it would be a unique niche

I think the only reason terminal attack still exists is so there's variation and it serves the S&D niche of the playerbase, despite there not being that many players in the playlist. They should probably tweak the modifiers so more people would play it like health packs (or barrels š) around the map or something
I could agree with everything but the KS23.. Wall pen makes no sense when no weapon has it. Same with shotguns not having headshot multipliers but I could see it as a niche.

Like, reduce movement speeds, reduce ttk (50hp, 75hp, 100hp that kinda thing). It doesn't feel any different to other gamemodes like cashout. You're literally just depositing a cashbox inside but the other team isn't and you're playing in rounds. Not really that unique.
And for those confident little kids that are gonna come to me and say "its gonna ruin the feel of the finals its supposed to be a fast-paced action game!" you can literally just go play other gamemodes for fast-paced. TA was supposed to be a tactical gamemode, not fast-paced. Otherwise there's literally no point of TA anyways.

hi is it in the game code, that the map kyoto shows up more than often than others? I just got it 4 times in a row in different game modes, & I started to realise i never get maps like Monaco. Or the Og oneās, there should be a good balance.

Why is there a contract exclusive for WT or Ranked? The "Earn 45,000 cash in a single match, 3 times in World Tour or Ranked" is making players who do not play those modes or are solo completely unable (Or very unlikely) to complete the contract and the whole stage due to the contract's tournament exclusivity. It should be changed so more casual players can still complete it. I do not believe I will be able to do this one, and the whole stage, without the utter pain and misery of solo queuing through WT. Please change. I love the contract system, and this must be changed for casual and competitive player inclusivity in The Finals.

I think something that would help greatly with the feel of the game is if the player capsule had more give to continue moving when it hits a collision object.
for example if you hit a flat wall perpendicular you should stop, but at a 45 degree angle your momentum should continue and you will travel forward while scrubbing the wall.
right now it feels like there is 100% friction when this occurs so the angle needs to be more forgiving. there is a balance between always being too stuck (as it is now) and too slippery and I think leaning a bit more to the slippery side would help

Just played a game where 3 teams would always spawn at the same cashout while one team was constantly alone with their own cashout... The entire game.
Allow us to spend VRs to reroll gold contracts!!! I cannot complete the newest gold contract because the region I am in is pretty much dead 5/6ths of the day for non-quickplay modes. Very annoying. I prefer contracts that require individual skill, as those are a lot easier to do without a party.
1.add option to apply multiple stickers on guns and gadgets
2.add option to assign different specializations,gadgets and weapons to different classes in private matches or make it a fun quickplay gamemode(but i dont see that strong of a reason to allocate server space for it)
3.add cone skin to proxi sensor
4.fix spawn logic when a third team is near your/taken from you cashout, leading to you being spawned further away from it after death
5.dont revert sword, im light main d3 and still think its absurde to lunge double kill both me and my half hp medium(maybe play with the multihit rather than the damage)
A couple user interface requests: under cosmetic item descriptions, I'd like to see what event/achievement granted me access to said cosmetics. Some stuff is obvious, like halloween or valentines day cosmetics, but some are not. I'd settle for "obtained from ___ event 2023" but I'd also like to see more details, if it was a circuit, who I was signed to, what club I was in at the time maybe? Also, I'd like to see unavailable skins. For example, I didn't play much season 3, and didn't get the katana/knife skins, but I'd like to see them grayed out with a description of when/how they'd have been obtained.

The Finals needs bigger lobby gamemodes like for instance simple 12v12 CTF where you grab a flag from the middle and need to deliver it to your base, without the ability to sprint or even shoot, only melee similar to how Halo does it.
I also have a personal idea of a 24v24 "mayhem" mode, where you and your team fight over cashboxes that are randomly dropping into the arena from the sky and your team needs to deliver them to your base and enemy team to theirs. The team who gathers the most cashboxes before timer runs out gets a point and needs to defend them from the other team for X amount of time or until they capture your base, turning the entire game from scavenge hunt into TF2-style attack/defense mode.
Now, If you lose your base you lose all of your money and enemy team gets a point, if you successfully defend the base then you simply win the entire match and you collect your money from the cashboxes, enemy team gets nothing or 50% of their cashbox value since they lost the entire game.
However, if you lost the defense after winning scavenge round - they take all of your cashboxes and the roles switch, now you are the ones that attack the enemy team but this time you fight over your and their money. It's basically all or nothing for both teams.
That means you technically could let the enemy team win and steal your cashboxes and then fight them in their own base for even more money (yours and theirs), that is if you are confident enough that you and your team will indeed manage to capture their base, otherwise you just lost everything.
A gamemode like that would of course require bigger maps and probably even some weapon/gadget/ability locks to prevent balancing issues but I believe that it's nothing impossibe to do, my biggest concern are the servers and server side destruction with such high amount of players in one match.

Make the Ranked and World Tour rewarding more fair
In ranked we spend 20 minutes to win +1000 while spending 8 minutes to lose 1000. The maximum amount of ranked points we lose has to be 500 maximum at any place. But this is in the lobbys with the same or close enough ranks. The game can just send you to the lobby with Diamond ranks while you are the gold 4 or 3. In that cases we have to lose even less points like -40 for the 7-8 place in tournament. Change it couse the game doesn't have many players
Increase the amount of points we receive in World Tour +4 for every place from 1-8
Rewarding in world tour is unfair as well. You can win all cashout except last put a lot of effort and time and win no points for the 5-6 in tour. That's why i want you devs to give +4 points for 5-6, +10 for 3-4 instead of +6,+18 for second place instead of +14 and +27 for the first place instead of 25
Every lobby i played in WT in season 6 were full of high level players or sometimes cheaters or smurfs. That's makes it hard to make through rounds couse only people that left in the game are high level players and cheaters, and we don't get nothing for trying. It's just lost of time with no fun and no points earned

- I think it would be cool if on kyoto, the cashout would spawn more often on the big tower in the middle. I just had a game where it happened and I completely forgot it was possible.

My guess as to why the pike didnāt get any additional sights at the beginning of this season is yāall donāt want it to have the shorter range sights and want it to retain the scope glint unless you can find a target through the cluttered irons.
Totally get it (i think) but the solution has been in front of yāall the whole time! Give it the Reflector! Still a higher zoom scope with reduced visibility compared to other options while retaining glint (like the LH1.) Thisād make the weapon much more comfortable for folks like myself who donāt like the high zoom while keeping most of the downsides of the scout.
Also, the scout could go on a few other weapons. The LH1, SR84, and CB01 come to mind but also both the lmgs would be fun with a long range scope.
Edit: also also would love to see some more pike skins in general, itās a little lacking among other weapons. Plus itās a great opportunity for my favorite color palette, wood, black, and raw steel. Mmm wood and metalā¦

i have a 4060 nvidia rtx and a Ryzen 5 5600x 6 core with 32 gigs ram and i do everything on low only textures on epic my anti aliasing is on nvidia dlss , quality and i seem to get such an unstable fps mostly from 130 sometimes 120 to 150 - 160 what can i do that my game gets more fps or is just my pc not enough for that i wanna have a stable 165 like my monitor refresh rate i dont want it dropping all the time please help me
Thatās a perfectly good framerate, though you shouldnāt need to be running the settings low - my GPU is a little worse and I can run everything on high fine. If you want to have a stable 165 then youād kind of need a top of the line CPU.

lmao this is the single worst take ive seen on this topic. nothing ever fails. you can always make it better. they could do a whole bunch of adjustments to the gamemode and make it better. Investing more time in it is going to help attract more players, both from inside and outside the current playerbase = profit.
and fyi, TA had a lot more players than Bank It when it used to exist. TDM has a lot more players than what Bank It used to have. The whole reason why Bank It was removed was because it failed.
So putting older and new gamemodes into rotation is fine, but no way they're gonna remove a gamemode because you think it "failed".
So yeah.
Ks23 is in a very frustrating spot rn. It deals so much damage, "can" destroy players in long ranges and is in theory a really strong weapon or an obvious meta pick. However, its awful close range combat, projectile speed and lack of animation cancelling, leaves it completely ineffective at any range.
Ks23 used to be really strong before 5.8 as jab combos made up for the gaps in its damage values between bullets. It worked extremely well at close range and was an occasional long range option thats outclassed by other weapons. It however wasn't meta as its long range was incredibly inconsistent due to it being a projectile and its projectile speed was difficult to estimate and was usually too slow, not to mention netcode affecting it. It worked perfect at mid range as it also worked so beautifully with winch claw and any midrange situation could be avoided by simply winching.
Now, without jab cancel, and without winch cancel, ks23 is in a sorry state that is inconsistent at any range. Its only decent specialisation is mesh shield but it's still not an effective playstyle. Close range is awful as you must not jab no matter what, and you will be hardstuck to the same ttk as at midrange. Midrange will at least allow you to mesh juggle but you are still incredibly vulnerable as you are unable to pump your gun and it leaves you massively vulnerable when you take off your mesh. Long range is incredibly inconsistent, enemies will genuinely have to be stationary and server lag will ruin any shots.
Ks23 went from an incredibly fun 'quickscope' movement weapon to a slow stationary weapon that requires you to play ineffectively at long range. Please embark, i love ks23 with a burning passion but it breaks my heart to feel so incredibly uncomfortable and ineffective everytime I try it.
things i want for the halfway season update:

place more glitchbarrels on the maps to make it easier to counter broken specs/gadgets without having to use glitch nades/mines

Change the ranked system to a more fair state. Getting kicked out while getting 2 first cashes than other team doubles and only tries to block the second team while ignoring everything is not fair. That is basically getting punished because you play good. Ignoring double is almost impossible. All the teams wants in the case of 2 teams getting 2 cash out. Because it is 2 team needs it and first team just wants you to kick out. If this happens it is so hard to get the cash. You need to wipe every team or try to get lucky and steal with heavies or smokes.
I think this is not fair. A team getting a rank up because they are easier to win against while the other team is losing makes no sense.
Possible fixes are:
Make cashes amount almost the same. So even doubling is not gonna be enough. They need to wipe or get kills to get to the next round. Which sounds fair.
Make the game mode just final round. Which is makes the game totally different but with doing that there is no 3rd parties or randomly getting killed by a team just spawned out of no where. Because when you are fight in the last round you know where the other team is most of the time.
Or make the ranked system better so getting more kills than every team means something in terms of rs. Like 2nd team gets a still good amount of rs but has in total 15 kills while 3rd team had 50. 3rd team should get lesser 2nd team but not lose like they didn't do anything the hole game. They should lose lesser or gain more than the seeding system of yours shows.
All sights on all guns next patch is a MUST. Give 93R and Revolver some love, pretty pretty please.

You're right though, I would love to have this information in game. What kills me is that during the active season, the BP items say "Unlocked in Season 6 Battle Pass" or whatever, but then as soon as a new season drops those descriptions disappear and only the current season items have that description lol.

club activity, and rank display, at least to the owner, trying to filter out and see who has been on, who participates, who is good enough to stay, etc, all are a nightmare as is

its nice to have to worry about 3rd parties in PS, TA and TDM, but they all have their own issues and differences
PS is prone to extreme sniper oppression, alongside explosive spam and potentially unapproachable defenses when fighting a stack
TA can feel too slow and limiting due to its regen system and no respawns, which can also make it too risky and punishing for certain playstyles like melee
i dont have any complaints about TDM, but with constant fighting and no direct objective to focus on, it just plays too differently and might not scratch the right itch
i think QC being 5v5 could make it a lot more enjoyable, please consider it as an option for an LTM in the future

I restarted it, so maybe it will now work. Looks like a problem with some UE culling or view distance being broken
Make sniper harder to use, buffing the fire rate has made it oppressive as hell, and you can hip fire it like a shotgun with no bullet deviation, the recent scope changes have made quick scoping just an easy go to when you canāt be bothered to sit back and shoot. it is making every kid and their dog run snipers in powershift and they donāt play the objective they just play tdm on a bigger map.
yeah I get it they dont want to update it. But downright removing it is NOT the thing to do. If it was they wouldve removed it anyways.
I think its better that we put the gamemodes into rotation, bcz there ARE ppl out there that like TA.
And still, im personally against this thing of bailing out on gamemodes. Hopefully when Embark gets richer and better in the future they can invest more time into the gamemode and make it better.

Absolutely not, the idea of having teams get to afk the rest of the match by hiding with no consequences is exactly why doubling is a thing, if you get the firet 2 boxes? Then hold the third set away, play for first by eliminating the other top2 team, play for second by killing anyone but the box holder but there should never be a guaranteed pass for winning an early box, as it stands right now ranked format is the most enjoyable gamemode because there's always a way to win.
A rotation would be a good idea, everyone can play every mode if they want then, just swap one of them every 3 weeks

I think it would be cool if there was a weapon ban option at the start of every round. All players in the round would vote on a weapon that can't be used that round. This would help in competitive since nothing has been done about cerb, and that way the players could act as their own balancing. If a weapon was voted off, no one would be able to use it, so everyone would be on equal footing, and it was voted for, so it would only get banned if the majority of the players wanted it out.

As I understand it, hiding player deaths in ranked from the scoreboard was done to reduce third partying, right? If that is the case, then why not show deaths but only when theyāre due to either you or your teammates killing them?

Itās not like SMGs where you can just switch to another flavor smg if you nerf one hardā thereās no viable or comparable melee weapon for lights. if your character has enough momentum while doing a heavy attack with the dagger, the hit just wonāt register at all. you can recreate this in the firing range pretty easily by hitting the jumppad then dashing in middair and backstabbing a dummy. the hit sound plays, coins come out, but thereās no hit thatās registered. this happens to me at least once a game and makes me want to slam my face into a brick wall repeatedly.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, make a change to ranked so if a person reconnects after disconnecting, they don't loose RS and allow them to gain RS. even if they don't loose RS it makes a world of difference. (from what I've noticed/experienced)
As someone who bluescreens and disconnects from the wifi every so often, it basically makes ranked unplayable...
The problem is that people crashing or disconnecting make lose points and TIME to people in their team. I have lost 5000 points because i have found 4 matches in a row people disconnecting at the beginning and i don't get my points back. The reply of the support has been: "Play with a relaible team".

2 things, i really donāt like how heavily and harshly someone gets punished for having not perfect internet. I use ethernet but my set up prevents me from getting the strongest speeds ever, but usually thatās not an issue. itās still pretty strong, I donāt have down times or outages, but for some reason, in only this game, a slight dip in my internet performance causes me to stutter, have input lag, and just feel gross. I do not have this issue in any other game and rarely had this happen when i had stronger internet, but the game feels gross right now to play knowing Iāll be getting annoyingly minorly rubberbanded and stuttered. I know itās not an easy āmake lag no moreā code change but i wanted to say smth.
Second thing, remove low gravity or make it smth like high jump height instead, it makes the game frustrating to play knowing that if i tap space at the wrong time or take a jump pad where enemies are i am automatically dead.

First off, Huge respect for Embark though for trying to understand what the community wants and reacting accordingly. It is very difficult to make everyone happy as some want to remove things and others want things to remain the same or adding things.
For the recent sword damage nerf, consider reverting sword damage nerf but if not, maybe increase the fire rate to compensate for the lost TTK. I understand that the "1 shot" potential of lunge + quick melee against lights is easier to pull of then a 1 shot sh1900 so fine. But the consequence creates the insanely slow TTK against heavies which pretty much invalidates the sword at that level.
I honestly think that the damage nerf is acceptable if skill based tactics like pre season 3 gadget swapping is brought back. And for phantom striking, I would say that the pure difficulty and practice required to master it is difficult enough for the rewarding damage it grants. As one of the only fast paced FPS to have usable melee weapons, for the higher-end skill bracket, sword becomes increasingly difficult to play. To maintain the usability at high levels, I believe that tactics like gadget swapping and phantom striking are rewarding enough to be kept in the game.
I guess you are new to the game. Hiding in this game at high elo is impossible. You can know every team where are they by checking some points like around cash out or vaults. If you are really try hard you can check the score board to check the kills deaths and rez amounts. There are sertain points in every map which is best places to be at by default. You can guess the spawns of teams. You can manipulate the spawn points. You can hear players 40 meters away. (but not in your right back (most of the time it is about climbing sounds being almost none existent)).
Holding a vault is harder than you think. It is just about some one pressing than 15 seconds later some one can throw it to the other side of the map. If you say don't let them press. There is a second vault. By putting that in you can get overtime. While that time you need to hold it against 1st team + other teams that need that vault. Good luck with that.
I didn't said don't give them a win con. You can read what I said. If team gets the last double cash out and played good (got some plugs in, didn't get wiped all the time, got kills, but lost cash outs ex) they should be winning. But right now 3rd or 4th teams will be winning all the time if they played to steal the double cash out and than chill while 1st team and other teams tries to wipe the teams so they can get a chase to steal it.
If the 1st team doesn't wants to face the second team in last round the answer to that should be trying to wipe them not. Just plug and chill in the back just shot when you see some one on that team. If any high level player thinks they are really good because they can pull of this I can say that you are not good by doing anything. This is the easiest thing to do and you can pull of this every round.

Quick cash having 30 seconds of respawn is too punishing.
It should be 20 seconds, and if a teammate dies they should reduce the 5 seconds, instead of adding 5 more.

There needs to be a Console Only option for players to allow crossplay between PS5 & XBOX.
Nobody wants to play Crossplay On as controller. "Crossplay" with MNK is unbearable to play against while using a controller.
And yet queues for Ranked are extremely long when you leave crossplay off.
Either allow Xbox & Playstation to play together by default, or add a Network toggle for "Console Only" .

Please allow players to cancel it when they have been defibbed. Giving trolls the ability to reset someone's respawn timer by throwing down gas and defibbing makes for a terrible solo queue experience when it happens. If not, you should at least make it so players killed immediately after defib don't have another death counted, it should go to whoever forced them into that situation (the defibber).
please make sights the same color as weapon skins, like the emerald xp should have emerald red dot, so that it looks just as good as reflector, or the upcoming ARN should have diamond sights so that it matches, its really small, but makes the same seem more polished

No synergy with Dash = Would be too immobile for Light melee that needs multiple hits
No QM synergy = Breakpoints would be too slow for Light melee that needs multiple hits, requires not overshooting lunge to make it harder to aim at you, must stop right beside enemy to QM
No multihit = Would be useless if >1 enemy, in melee as lowest HP class but 0 breakpoints hit on anyone except first.
-Multihit should be nerfed to reduce damage per enemy by 25 for each new enemy hit per lunge. e.g. first enemy full dmg, second enemy in same lunge = 115 dmg and so on to reduce insta team kill.
No lingering flicks = Would be too readable for Light melee that needs multiple hits
Sword is the single worst weapon in the game. Not only is it melee on lowest HP class, you removed every single breakpoint fast enough to work vs even remotely competent players.

Out of over 20 people that I know for sure where cheating (Cronus,aimbot,speed scripts) all where reported by me and I only received one that went through and was taken an action against , only to my surprise he was playing next week. @half briar power shift fell of because they added obscene unneeded platform rules where 1 on platform makes it move faster 2 on makes it move a lil bit faster and 3+ is apparently the same. The games just blitz past now and there was nothing wrong with the pace before. They said they did this to stop the moments where the platform was stuck right in the middle, but this was the best part of the mode. The fight and struggle to get it in your favour. It's a tug of war and they said this is a bad thing. Shows how out of touch they are. They don't seem to know that quickplay modes don't need esports rules.

The minigun is still really underwhelming, if the heavy is already penalized by not moving while using it as well as by some time where he literally cannot shoot, why make it so innacurate still? Every light with an xp54 and enough range can kill me regardless of how i try as a heavy, because the minigun is just so inaccurate. I try using this gun every chance i get because i feel like it has potential to be really fun, but right now it just doesnāt work, any other gun is just better.
I think it could be anything: make the minigun do more surface damage (i mean most of the time i donāt even break a single wall piece on a full mag due to how destruction works). Maybe add reverse recoil, where the spread of it tightens the longer you fire it (imo making it hyper accurate at long firing times would not be OP, actually fair to compensate for the no movement in a movement-centered game). I agree that the spinup shouldnāt be shorter otherwise itās just another LMG, but in this phase it is underwhelming at any range at any situation.

The ks-23 needs 100% accuracy, any other buff is pointless
The ks-23 is the only direct hit projectile weapon that is not afforded the luxury of accuracy which is the main reason its suffering. In concept its great and i love the gun, but anyone who has played it for any significant ammount of time knows that its main point of frustration is its unrelieability. Because of the spread targets beyond 8 meters are a gamble to hit. The feature inplace to make it a skillful weapon is already the projectile, however this is ruined by the spread. You can predict your targets movement, lead your shot correctly but still miss because the game decided your slug goes left.
The only buff the ks needs to be good is accuracy. Buffs like range falloff or firerate wouldnt solve the underlying issue of it being frustrating to use beyond 8 meters, headshots without accuracy are pointless, damage is going to force winch ks back which was not very fun to die to. A bigger projectile would maybe work but decrease the guns skill expression.
Even with 100% accuracy the gun would be far from op due to the small mag and bad ttk. However it would be a lot more fun and a lot less frustrating to use
also can we get a eclipse shade revolver so we have one that doesnt clash so heavily with the dot sight

Any range at any situation..? Highest dps in the game with a mag that can wipe out ten players is nothing to sniff at! It isnāt good for every situation but the entire skill requirement to do well with it is by coaxing as many scenarios into the space where it does well as possible.

yeah i tried the ks-23 and in the time you can fire your second shot, you're already dead. the 93r seems weaker too, than the other weapons the light has.
Revert Sword Nurf
Ks23 is in a very frustrating spot rn. It deals so much damage, "can" destroy players in long ranges and is in theory a really strong weapon or an obvious meta pick. However, its awful close range combat, projectile speed and lack of animation cancelling, leaves it completely ineffective at any range.
Ks23 used to be really strong before 5.8 as jab combos made up for the gaps in its damage values between bullets. It worked extremely well at close range and was an okay long range option thats outclassed by other weapons. It however wasn't meta as its long range was incredibly inconsistent due to it being a projectile and its projectile speed was difficult to estimate and was usually too slow, not to mention netcode affecting it. It worked perfect at mid range as it also worked so beautifully with winch claw and any midrange situation could be avoided by simply winching.
Now, without jab cancel, and without winch cancel, ks23 is in a sorry state that is inconsistent at any range. Its only decent specialisation is mesh shield but it's still not an effective playstyle. Close range is awful as you must not jab no matter what, and you will be hardstuck to the same ttk as at midrange. Midrange will at least allow you to mesh juggle but you are still incredibly vulnerable as you are unable to pump your gun and it leaves you massively vulnerable when you take off your mesh. Long range is incredibly inconsistent, enemies will genuinely have to be stationary and server lag will ruin any shots.
Ks23 went from an incredibly fun 'quickscope' movement weapon to a slow stationary weapon that requires you to play ineffectively at long range. Please embark, i love ks23 with a burning passion but it breaks my heart to feel so incredibly uncomfortable and ineffective everytime I try it.

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.
With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
V9s isn't fun to use and zero reason to pic over xp and M11 so to make it better it could have perfect hipfire accuracy like counter strike and it would be a unique niche

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.
Breach charge should break smaller holes in walls so lights can minimise exposure that large destructon has right now, because u have 3 charges u can still make bigger holes.It should still stack damage.

You MUST revert sword back to 140 damage. sword was balanced. just remove phantom strike . That damage was completely fair and wellācalculated. Claiming sword was ānerfed for lightsā is simply wrongālights have always been its natural counter. Compared to a 'oneāshot' with lunge + quickāmelee, Cerberus is far more oppressive. So sword must have lunge + QM 'one-shot' light kill, because light is counter to sword, as everyone knows. You keep saying youāre nerfing for lights, but the real beneficiaries are the mediums. Mediums are the most powerful class in The Finals, and sword needs to have its original 140 lunge to at least be competitive against them. also, without at least 140 damage on lunge, itās never viable against heavies.
Additionally, ranged weapons are strong not only at distance but also in close quarters. Yet meleesāwhich canāt exert any power at rangeāmust naturally be devastating up close. The idiots who have never used melee donāt understand that you have to shut down melees before they get in range, because they lack the intelligence to grasp how difficult it is to approach a ranged weapon firing from the roof.
Itās absurd to call melees low-skill weapons. melees demand movement precision, positioning and all kinds of mechanical skillāsomething Cerberus players donāt even need. Yet Embark nerfs melee based solely on the opinions of noobs who have never played melee themselves. Stop ruining the game.

after pink has been weakened from fighting us, orange steals with little contest
we try to re-engage, some keep orange occupied, building distance between them and their cashout on the moving platform while the 3rd steals
pink shows up, killing them instead
this feels like one big looney tunes sequence
i wasn't having fun and felt frustrated, so i left the match and took a short break
afterwards i decided to come back and give it another shot
the very first cashout
we get shot from behind by pink while trying to defend against orange, they steal it
later we fight over it and get it back after wiping them
both teams engage us at once in the last 30 seconds, we get wiped, and loose the cashout 2 seconds before the time is up
getting beaten down over and over like this, especially when otherwise playing generally well, frequently worsens the mood
please give us 5v5 QC/cashout so that those who dislike 3rd parties can still enjoy this type of game mode

It's unfortunately a very frequent occurrence for me lately. I don't mind matching against top players (they're usually really fun games) and I don't mind having new players on my team (I enjoy teaching new players the mechanics and tips). But it'd be nice if I wasn't carrying a full team of players who don't even have 24 total hours logged in the game between them, multiple times a night, while also trying to fight off top-10 players in the process.
add the possibility to emote in lobby with ur premades, like fornite.. i know the comparison sucks but we have enough fun emotes to allow that, everyone dancing on main menu would be funny to see

stun gun is disabled because people complained too much and embark thought the game would be better without it for a while I guess. They may re-introduce it very soon with changes. Lockbolt launcher is a neater alternative imo, since it has multiple actual forms of counterplay and doesn't remove as much player agency.
Game has been way more fun to play with stun gun disabled IMO. It's more fun to play as and against lights without every single one having it equipped. It always felt like a must-pick too if other lights in the lobby were running it. I hope however it's been tweaked make it less of a crutch gadget.

the minigun is also considered to be heavys strongest weapon by all the highest elo players it can be hard to use but it doesn't mean its bad the thing shreds and can easily take down multiple players down in one go if they are within 15 meters which is easier than it sounds when you play your cards whilst offering a whole smacking 250 rounds and being great at destruction (especially trees) overall the minigun is not underwhelming if you think it is your either not using a good loadout for it your not playing well with it and shooting people who are 30+ meters away expecting to out dps them or ofcourse you just cant tell what is good and not i would recommend you run it with proximity alarms goo gun lockbolt and dome shield

There's several things you can do;
-increase firerate but decrease damage (will lose its identity as a peakshot/movement weapon)
-increase projectile speed (will make ks23 more effective at long ranges but doesn't change the fact that heavy is most effective at close range, projectiles are inconsistent due to server lag, and you are massively outclassed by deagles or lewis gun)
-make hipfire as accurate as ads (will be more effective at all ranges but still be outclassed by other weapons at close range)
-bring back animation cancels (goes against the vision of embark[?] but brings back the original effective playstyle)
-increase damage to make jab combos more reliable as you would only need one (creates instant kill combos that isn't fun to play against but would alleviate the pain of how ineffective jab combos are)

This games balancing improves at a snails pace. Itās been almost a year and a half, not including 1 alpha and 3 betas, and we arenāt even finished nerfing the overpowered primaries (cerberus)
Mediums class identity has been eviscerated by overnerfing defib and healing beam while buffing close range options (Cerberus) and then not giving any cool utility to the class??? Medium has the same amount of gadgets that it did on launch. How??? It has the most potential for interesting gadgets and specs.
Light is a horribly designed shitshow that scares away casuals and has 1 viable playstyle in high elo. When are you redesigning the specs that only get value based on enemy mistakes? Invis blows if your opponent is good at spotting it. Dash is horrible if your opponent can aim. No wonder the class eats shit against good players and frustrates casuals until they quit.
Heavyās specs have been dumbed down a ton. Goo gun has been shadow nerfed a lot, mesh had its skill expression removed with juggling, winch is still not telegraphed???
Half of the items in the game have the status of āliterally never put this in your loadout if you want to win in any serious environment.ā How?? Itās almost been two years.

Cashout is still miserable. Team spawns, vault spawns, cashout spawns, third parties, all or nothing gameplay, griefing, being punished for other teams mistakes, etc all make knockout rounds horrible to play.
3v3 is STILL all or nothing for some reason??? The gamemode has enough downtime in the first place but then the points system means only 2-3 of the fights in the entire ~12 minute round actually matter.
Iāve always been super defensive of this games dev team and balancing because every new team shooter suffers from bad balancing at first. But this isnāt a new game anymore. And youāve stated in multiple dev comments that you actually think the game is well balanced. Everyone misses the Season 1 end of round music and Iām pretty sure a lot of people are done of hearing this sad excuse for an end of round theme that we currently have. Why have I been listening to the season 4 end of round theme for 3 seasons? It doesnāt have that kick like Season 1 did. Just give the players the option to bring back the season 1 end of round theme. Everyone wants it back. I just felt like i could get shredded by any light player using the xp54 at any range, but, i agree, it may be a skill issue. Imma try that set, see if it work better :D
I will admit that the model was imbalanced in range, but the damage debuff in the season 5 mid-season update destroyed it. That update caused the model to have the longest ttk in the medium class, despite the range effectiveness between it and rifles. The damage output at close range and medium range also feels too similar, which doesn't make sense for a weapon that is supposed to be a shotgun. The model also shoots a spread of pellets, so if you miss a single pellet, the already long ttk manages to be even longer. The animation cancel patch for the model makes it even more ineffective, as you can not compensate for the sliver of health the model will leave the opponent with anymore because of the debuffs. To keep up with the meta, I had to abandon the movement model play style I adored in exchange for the typical boring FPS experience that weapons like rifles provide. I have been playing this game since the betas, but it's becoming harder to enjoy when every weapon gets heavy debuffs.
To summarize:
Despite the short range and usage of pellet spread, the model has the longest TTK among the medium class.
Close-range damage is too similar to medium-range damage, which undermines its identity as a shotgun.
The animation cancel patch removed the ability to compensate for the already ineffective damage output.
Reverting the season 5 mid-season update would balance the model, as the weapon would be effective again when you can both get close and hit all the pellets, instead of being a low-damage laser like it is right now.

The Cerberus really needs a damage nerf ā itās hitting way too hard right now, a shotgun that already has the unique ability to slow down healing shouldnāt be this oppressive. Another thing that needs fixing is the rotational aim assist and auto-centering while zooming should be removed, as they make tracking overly easy and give too much of an advantage. Aim assist in general would be better off as just a slight slowdown near targets, to keep things skill-based and fair across all input types.
Also, a slight fire rate buff for the SR-84 would be great ā itās feeling a bit underwhelming compared to other weapons. Appreciate all the work youāre doing on the game! I hope youāll consider these changes ā thanks for all your work on the game! Its really cool and fun but some things takes too long for you to fix.

Ranked > Incentives for being first need to be implemented
- High ELO Cashout is, play everything correctly or mostly correctly, but you end up getting griefed due to the double mechanic, and the first team being "safe" as there's no good reason for them to stay first.
- The incentive to being first and how it differs from ranked was highlighted in PHL, where second and first had a solid difference in points gained based on positioning.
- Yes there was griefing, but not to the extent of double last box haha focus second team fair gameplay.
Cashout still has issues:
- S3 promised a more robust and balanced gamemode as it was āshelvedā temporarily for TA. We have not received much, and the only changes have been to WT have not affected Ranked in the slightest.
- WT, introduced as an experimental ground, hasn't tweaked significantly with the rules, and any tweaks have not impacted ranked in the slightest.
- Spawn quality has deteriorated since the beginning of Season 6, Monaco especially has been affected the worst and continues to play horrible due to the spawns piling up on one active cashout.
- Not sure why we have to wait for weeks to fix a bug in the spawns
Balancing:
While most balancing is in a good place, there are a few outliers. The Cerb and the DB have way too much damage potential, and i'm honestly surprised sword got nerfed for "1-tap" potential when you can literally 1 tap lights with both, 2 tap mediums with DB, 2 tap mediums with cerb. The fire effect is also weird for the cerb, if i'm outside the supposed effective range, a pellet will still set me on fire, and chunk my hp which both slows my regen, and also is a weird feature. it's horrible to play both of these weapons on either light or medium.
Modes:
I'm a player who puts in time and is somewhat decent at the game, but if i ever want to try out wacky loadouts that i don't typically play with, there is no mode where i'm able to do that without running into either cringelords or sweats.

Smoke is unusable garbage. Sometimes its transparent from certain angles, sometimes they cant see, you can, sometimes other way around. Make what CS did back in 90s. FUCKING FIX SMOKE
Is it possible to create a different reporting system, or is this issue only happening to me? I donāt know how it works on PC, but at least on console, when you want to report someone after a match, everything you type keeps getting interrupted by around 6-7 notifications like "+1 level." You try to rewrite it, and again it cuts off while you're typing, with messages like "+1300 fans," etc. It's really frustrating, and in the end, you donāt even have time to report properly after a game. Either the option to report needs to be removed, or it should be made so that when you're writing a report, you arenāt interrupted by notifications
There still is no fix for the controller in free spectatormode after a team wipe. You changed the upwards downward movement to the shoulder buttons. The upward button (R1 or RB depending of Sony or Xbox Layout) is also the Ping wheel. This is a really stupid bug and shouldnt happen if you would playtest on controller. I also cant remap this, besides of remapping my communuication wheel. Pls fix this asap
Make it so Demat is easier to see through the effects make everything so hard to see and yes you could lower graphics but console players cant so they are stuck with a demat thats impossible to see through

Yeah is definitely needed. I love running thermal and smoke but it's just not worth it because half the time they can see you when you are standing directly in the middle of the smoke and you don't expect it. Its too inconsistent. On that note, thermal is also bugged when a player has the skybox behind them, making them completely invisible. I think that hadn't been fixed yet.
To the post below me: I 100% agree. Sword is completely unusable now for me in ranked, despite having hundreds of hours with it. If you absolutely need to nerf it, then 135 damage is still a significant nerf. Lunge + quick melee + slash would do 249 damage, forcing the sword to hit two melees and a slash with one lunge or just doing two lunges which takes slightly longer but easier to hit. For heavies, 2x lunge + slash does 344 damage, forcing the sword to hit at least one quick melee. However, 2x lunge + 2x quick melee does 350, just enough damage. This is as balanced as it could get.
Additionally, I have fought several swords since switching to xp before the nerf and I kill them before they have the chance to damage me. It's not that hard. Just keep distance and shoot. No need for a nerf.
You MUST revert sword back to 140 damage. sword was balanced. just remove phantom strike . That damage was completely fair and wellācalculated. Claiming sword was ānerfed for lightsā is simply wrongālights have always been its natural counter. Compared to a 'oneāshot' with lunge + quickāmelee, Cerberus is far more oppressive. So sword must have lunge + QM 'one-shot' light kill, because light is counter to sword, as everyone knows. You keep saying youāre nerfing for lights, but the real beneficiaries are the mediums. Mediums are the most powerful class in The Finals, and sword needs to have its original 140 lunge to at least be competitive against them. also, without at least 140 damage on lunge, itās never viable against heavies.
Additionally, ranged weapons are strong not only at distance but also in close quarters. Yet meleesāwhich canāt exert any power at rangeāmust naturally be devastating up close. The idiots who have never used melee donāt understand that you have to shut down melees before they get in range, because they lack the intelligence to grasp how difficult it is to approach a ranged weapon firing from the roof.
Itās absurd to call melees low-skill weapons. melees demand movement precision, positioning and all kinds of mechanical skillāsomething Cerberus players donāt even need. Yet Embark nerfs melee based solely on the opinions of noobs who have never played melee themselves. Stop ruining the game. Nerfing isnāt the only way to balance a game.

Embark I am confident that there are some bans being handed out that are false positives. The amount of posts of people saying they got banned unrightfully has spiked in the past month or 2. Combine this with the fact the 6.3 or 6.4 update introduced a new false positive that detects "disallowed tools" that are nonexistent, I really think you need to address this problem before it gets out of hand
Allow more customization in the training room, like replacing the target dummies with target boards that show you where your shots actually land. More options for bots' movements and ability to shoot us back (ik there are 2 at the corner but they generally don't target you and their damage is laughable)

Overhaul the WT point system
You should be rewarded at least around a couple points for either not coming in dead last the first knockout round or for hitting certain cash thresholds. This will help casual players with less time to play feel more rewarded and stop higher end players from feeling burnt out

there's no such a thing as best weapon, it's simply (high risk = high reward AND low risk =low reward ) balance , repeater for example has the highest damage across the board you can literally 1-2 tap players , but when you look closely , it genuinely requires a lot of skill to make the most out of it , whenever you see there's a ( low risk = high reward) weapon , it indicates a balance issue and embark must fix it

Make a new cosmetics tab called eyewear and put all glasses into it so I can wear a snood and glasses.
Also make 1st and 2nd mag on ARN same recoil pattern, otherwise its gonna get overshadowed by XP like it already is and whilst you're at it, improve hipfire because even when I tap the trigger once its not on the reticle whatsoever. Also make 1st mag quickswap regardless of ammo and allow us to hold R for full reload.

World Tour is too much of a grind. I've been playing everyday for at least 90 minutes, WT only since season 6 dropped and I'm still only Platinum 1. It feels like the only way you can reasonably grind to Emerald 1 before the end of the season is to completely no life the game, or have a consistent play group. It's getting to the point where playing The Finals feels like a chore if you want to reach Emerald. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
There are a number of things you could do to remedy this. and I have a couple of suggestions.

Add pity points. If you come in last, by default you get a small amount of points. gaining zero points for coming in last, quite frankly, SUCKS.

Allow the team in last to lose faster so they can quickly queue up for another game. I would add a forfeit option. If there's a small amount of time left in the match and your team is in dead last, with no hope of a come from behind victory, players can vote to forfeit. It would require all 3 teammates to agree to forfeit. And only be a feature in WT.

Hey could you guys like, nerf pyro mines?? It has the SAME issue that stacking frag mines did (which you guys did nerf), that it can basically insta-kill a light and medium, and not to mention it nearly kills a light outright with ONE pyro mine. Why not just remove a majority of it's explosive damage? Because it completely defeats the purpose of carrying frag mines unless you are stacking both.
Also, could you actually make smoke useful? There are so many instances where you can even stack three smokes in one spot, yet you can still see through the smoke. Sometimes lighting makes smoke completely useless, and looking left and right quickly resets the render for it and let's you LOOK RIGHT THROUGH IT. It's very unusable right now for World Tour and Ranked.
And why do flashbangs blind you even if you look away... I don't think I need to explain why that's dumb. In fact, they should blind someone looking in their direction from a much greater distance because that's just how they work! I know you guys recycled the code from the frag grenades, but don't be lazy! Flash nades should be treated like they are throwing out light, not metal fragments.
And why is Finals the only competitive game ever made that doesn't allow headshot damage with a shotgun?

Data Reshaper would be a lot less niche if you could reshape dome shields from outside the bubble. As of now with 2 charges (post-nerf), it feels a little weak. With 3 it was better but I can understand it feeling oppressive against placeables. The only way to reshape a dome shield is to be inside of it and with such a low uptime itās hard to pull off without being blasted in the face. Dome shieldās counters being bullets, time or glitch nades is good, but adding reshaper as another counter could boost it just that little bit it needs to be a more viable pick.
I think this weapon should be nerfed because I lost one round against a heavy.

Power Shift is supposedly a casual mode so health regen and respawn times shouldn't be so long. Sometimes devs fixate too much on the competitive wannabe streamer crowd they forget about casuals who just wanna play the game for fun.
Respawns should be 5-10 seconds. Health regen should take 7 seconds. Fuck balance we just wanna play your game

it doesn't seem like items are balanced in plays vs counter plays leaving some weapons and strats just unbeatable. can you lean more in this direction? one example would be to have fire melt goo faster. it could create a spot for pyro nades, mines, thermal bore and flamethrower.

Can the guys in charge of balancing actually play light and heavy for a season? I think a lot of people will agree; this near life long medium meta is insanely boring. Why should anyone play the finals over any other FPS if the most effective thing is the "gun guy" from any other FPS. Fun tech? Removed. Medium falling behind? Rolling buffs.
I don't see the thought process behind bringing 66%(H and L) of the player base down and raising 33%(M) up. Do you guys like the medium centric meta? Is it regret from adding too many unique gadgets and them being harder to balance than "gun guy"? I'd like to play light without using the one viable weapon and gadget spread for them. In your case, bronze 1 takes 100 points and silver 4 needs 150, so while the numbers show 112/150 the scale behind shows 12/50 (since you need 50 points to reach from B1 to S4)

If what I'm assuming was the problem is that enemies could hear the moo and that would potentially become annoying hearing a moo every time they die that's fair, but the answer is to make it so only you hear your own charm mooing and make it moo every kill

KS23 is bugged and will double pump, because of thje whole melee to skip certain animations its axed the KS23 almost completely. So if you use the ks, rack after a shot like complete the rack animation and melee after you will have to rerack the gun. So you know when there is a light or two or heck even a medium right infront of you, say goodbye because if you DARE melee with the PRESICION SLUG shotgun you will have added time between shots which more or less will always result in your death.

Our only option is to play on Asia servers with predictably bad lag which makes it even harder for some of us casual players to get to the 45k milestone.

Revert Sword Lunge to 140. Removing Lunge+QM combo vs Light when Light kills Light fast with literally anything is nonsensical. Only change needed = Fix phantom strikes.

Please nerf the xp54 its so ridiculously easy to use. The hip fire is amazing, the recoil is nonexistent after your recent adjustments, the mag size is very generous, the default scope even provides some zoom...!! I never use this gun i have 1000 hours and literally only level 1 on the xp54 but I can drop so many kills with cloak + xp54 it is a bit too effective in too many scenarios ESPECIALLY when compared to the other automatic weapons on light, there is virtually no reason not to use the xp54 over the m11 or arn220
The problem with this game is content not balacing (even tho the devs do a horrible job at it).
Right now i think that when it comes to balacing Embark doesnt understand that certain gadgets or abilities can be used to counter weapons or abilities (Glitch for dash or invis or heal or defib or charge or meshshield (btw fuck the people who wanted to destroy mesh shield probably its the worst nerf ever implemented in this game). When u guys say nerf no one propose a "counter buff" instead.
This game has gadgets for a reason you cannot just say : SwOrD ToO Op / sHotGuN ToO StROnG / LiGHt OvERpoWEred. Please think of uselful use of gadgets or abilities.
Then comes also the element of teamfight and strategies rn the plan is u see someone u shoot then push them thats it. I dont want to play a Call Of Duty i want to play the finals where defense matter offense too placement or how to fight as team. Right now the soloq is destroying this game. no medium uses heal or turet they all use demat, light dont use glitch or sonar or help teammates and heavy dont use shield or goo gun since its useless. So the elements that makes this game a bit unique are not use either by the players and not improved and put forward by the devs.
Then content. We need new gamemodes for fun, more abilities / gadgets not weapons, maps need to be design for melee and long range (monaco, seoul, skyway stadium ... mhhh all the original maps not the new ones coincidence ?). Embark improved private (BIIIIG thx btw even tho no one at embark or CM will see this). I remember that there was lore in the begining, things that were fun to follow, to try to understand the univers. And right now there is nothing, like we got bernal for no apparent reasons (nice map but kinda empty). No reasons (lore wise) for why a "improved" las vegas.
So please when balancing use counter items instead of ruinning the fun of a weapon and please more content and reasons for why certains things are in the game.
We were talking about suggestions for the medieval season and i had this to add, thought id share it in this channel also:
A medieval season would be such a great opportunity to introduce something they failed to do back in season 3. (remember that szn 3 was the szn of the ninjas and samurais but didnt feel like it imo beacuse of a missed opportunity to lean into that vibe a little more)
A LTE to introduce the new season and contents, where u strictly play with medieval weapons (no guns, just sword/bows/sledge/spear) with only armor cosmetics. (Would also be a great way to introduce some cosmetics before they release it into the shop, for a little teasing).
And you try to siege each others base/castle in a similar way as in Chilvary.
It would make the finals so fresh and different for a little while, would be epic. And a great way to feel like the season is medievaly based instead of the usual, a little bit of this little bit of that themes that we've been getting.

The Cashout modes can be quite an awful experience for solo players, hence I tend to avoid them.
Putting specific game modes in contracts isn't a good idea if you want people to keep playing the game and feel like doing contracts, which make them more likely to keep playing the game.
And of course I agree with all the people that have complained about the 45k contract, as someone who doesn't even like to get specific game modes in the daily contracts.
I probably won't even complete all contracts this season due to several being in the cashout modes, and get less excited for next season and the game in general.
Also, are you ever gonna fix the demat and jump pad bugs? Died twice to that while typing this, and also just spawned right next to an enemy team. So not only am I forced to play Cashout, it's real buggy as well.
The balance in solo q ranked is just terrible, thereās zero dependence on skill level, itās pure random. The numbers are the same, but the understanding of the game is completely different. I still donāt understand how this system works. It was much more balanced in the second season.

Just came back after a long break to try the game again as a sword main, after 1 game I immediately noticed that big brains at embark probably nerfed a melee weapon in the game again. Was not surprised since a blind chimp with a wheel of fortune could do better balancing then these guys.
What you fail to understand is that only a very few percentage of people can actually use the sword to the full potential, the rest will just dash and press the left button, and you only get those players at the very top where you should be able to use the plethora of gadgets provided to you to counter these players like gravity launchers, jump pads, mines, gadget mines, etc. just to name a few. With this nerf, you can go ahead and remove the weapon from the game to save space.
I understand this is all profit driven as these shi*tty players who can't use a single gadget out of the three to counter a melee weapon in a shooting game with a gun go here a whine asbout how they are getting owned (once again by a melee weapon in a shooting game) and they get frustrated and leave the game.
My point is, if you get these players, and you are owned by them, just start a new acc and play with the little kids and noobs as this is where you belong. It's not weapon issue, it's skill issue.

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.
With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
V9s isn't fun to use and zero reason to pic over xp and M11 so to make it better it could have perfect hipfire accuracy like counter strike and it would be a unique niche

Buff all of lights weapons other than the XP-54 to even the field out! lights always been a underpowered class and the only reliable weapon on light that you can consistently beat other builds with is the XP-54 and that's why you see so many lights running it and why people think its overpowered! when the XP-54 is about the only weapon in lights arsenal that's as strong as a lights weapon should be! due to lights low health all of his weapons other than the XP-54 are completely useless even in the hands of very high skilled players! Here is accouple alternatives to my fix! you could either nerf all of heavy's and mediums weapons into the ground (at least halve the ttk) to make it more fair for us light mains or you could or of course buff lights hell to at least 225 (preferably 250 since medium has such high ttk weapons and op gadgets) I hope this opens your eyes embark!
Change the way the Interrupt opponents stealing your cashout works: If you damage someone stealing your cashout he gets a mark that last for 3 seconds (renews for every instance of damage you do) if the marked person stops stealing your cashout within the 3 seconds, it counts towards your progress. It makes zero sense to have it only count when you only LITTERALLY stop him via killing or cc'ing. Its more than logical to assume that he stopped because you're damaging him ergo you interrupting him.
Make leaving the match easier at the end of the game. Idc about gear XP, most of the time I don't even care about the scoreboard. As soon as I see ELIMINATED or WINNERS I should be able to leave.
Also, as usual, delete defibs. They're extremely toxic for the game. They're both the most META gadget in the game and the most teammate abusing gadget in the game. It's actually insane that those can both be true at once, the FINALS really is a unique game in all the ways.
Glitch mines are ruling the META rn, as they're the only effective counter to a defib, and they completely shut down anything light tries to do. Light is plagued by glitch mines & motion sensors. Those gadgets need to deactivate temporarily after use, especially since they stay forever unless shot at (unlike most mines that are 1 time use). And on the subject of shooting gadgets, make the hitboxes a bit larger or reduce the health, and make glitch explosions damage gadgets not just disable them for a second or 2.
Minigun's presence has caused more mediums play melee (to block the bullet hose). More heavies are using hammer, I think, because of the increase in medium melees. The thing about hammer is that if you're also using melee and not a hammer, you can't fight the hammer heavy. This applies to all melee weapons for all classes, except the dagger- assuming you get the backstab.
Hammer really stands out over other melee because of the damage/health ratio for a heavy weapon. I'm not necessarily saying nerf hammer, but possibly look at reworking Medium melees so that swords can compete with hammer DPS, even if they block less (Medium melee options are redundant rn anyways). Lastly, it would be really nice if the Heavy GL could fire automatically with the same fire rate.

I think that the real problem was it being paired with the dash making it unnecessarily hard to track them while all the light had to do was get two free hits with the lunge and a quick melee to kill most players. But you are right that nerfing it into the ground wasnāt the right choice, everyone thinks the sword damage was the problem but it was really just the dash in combination with it. They needed to put some limitations on the dash imo, I think the simplest answer would be just making the dash have a like 1-1.5 (that number might be high) second cooldown between uses

Heavy class should get a SMG, maybe dual P90s.
Medium should get a new handgun or Lmg to help fill that support/defender role like a Krytec MK3 LMG PARA. or maybe dual Berettas.
Light should get another AR to help balance out what is already needed in their load out such as B&T SPC45 PDW SBR.
Now as for heavy utilities and possible specialization, consider a stim to help heal the already not tanky heavy and give them a little more defense.
Consider increasing the health pool for all classes because the damage is insane and there's just unfun and unfair weapon balancing going on to where meta guns are preferred over the already expansive weapon list available.
Consider increasing the player and team count in quick cash because it seems a little off when you play on a big may like Kyoto or Seoul or any of the maps in general.
Please consider the "balance" that's being implemented to weapons and the actual flow of the game that even includes the gadgets. defensive options for heavy for example are not viable and goo is being used by every class. It's stronger than shields. And the only thing "worth" using .
Lockbolt still gives movement to those affected and the stun gun hasn't returned as promised since season 6 launch.
Just know there is a lot that's missing from the look and feel of the finals since it was released in season 1 and that love and fun fairness for all players levels and Play styles is nowhere to be found.
For example quick cash has extremely high level players in it and they dominate a lobby.
Instead of having them flock and use that game mode to warm up on, maybe have an Actual Warm Up game mode for those players who want to get ready for ranked that way. And keep those guys out of a casual place for players who just want to play the game.
Just some considerations and feedback for the next season or so.

Buff LH1 ,it feels miles worse than all mediums rifles
-Even if there are balance changes to give prominence to certain weapons, it's important to keep in mind that they must have limitations. The SR-84 for the lightweight is more effective, but it can be countered by using defensive gadgets and vision blocking. The XP-54 is currently meta, but what's the point of using the SR-84? I consider the Cerberus effective in combat, given its increased damage, but it fulfills its role up to a certain distance without being too oppressive with its incendiary casings at medium ranges. The M60 requires sustained fire to be able to control accuracy more easily after the first rounds are fired. Although it can be oppressive at certain ranges, the recoil is more likely to require some preparation, making it less effective when hip-firing if it does complete at close range against the Shak-50 or Lewis. My point is that the medium and heavy weapons are both good in their respective distances, but the light has always had the problem of being oppressive at various ranges without a consistent balance. Seeing Appoh be a genocidal XP-54 at long ranges makes me question how easily pro players can outclass casual players with such destructive weapons.
I'm Main flamethrower, I know their damage per second, distance, combos, team combinatios to stay close of some camper players. Thanks to it, i won easiely ranked tournaments and World Tour Tournaments, i know this gun is hell in short distances; also I know i can't kill a Sniper player everytime or some range player at least the player reach flames range.
I don't wanna win everytime i use flamethrower because i know how to use it. I wanna WIN because i keep my enemies in a closer range to kill it and i wanna LOST because i don't reached enemies space to kill it. It's about consistant.
The balance and meta are about distances, areas and weapon limitations. This game needs to get more solid about meta.

In my opinion, the spawn system in ranked might need a complete overhaul. In a chaotic environment like The Finals, there should be some fixed things you can rely on. For example, if an enemy picks up a coin, you often donāt even notice it until they suddenly shoot you from the side. Even if you realize they took the coin, you still donāt know if they respawned nearby or far away. This is important information for making smart decisions instead of just guessing.
One idea to make the coin mechanic fairer and less random would be to have players basicly "defib" themselves at the statue when they use a coin. Also, the number of coins left could be shown directly above the statue, so teams don't have to press TAB after every kill to check. Another idea would be that instead of on top of their statue they will spawn on top a teammate but with a visible warning countdown for enemies.
Buff dual blades fix spawns (Egregious in kyoto I had to fight a team 3 times to get one cashbox in, purp respawned after we wiped them and pink) and fix the fact that being the worst team is beneficial in ranked (You will be allowed through by the top team)
It's not. The problem is that most of the players complaining about the sword (and probably the dagger) are so used to the usual "Gun-play" Apex, CoD, Battlefield, etc has that they have trouble adapting and learning how to deal with a weapon that has a different playstyle than what they're used to. It also doesn't help that such non-firearm weapons are ofter seen as the "disrespect" weapons because they're often designed to be ineffective and gimmicky by these other games that if you die to them, it's akin to being unskilled at the game.
Pre-nerfed Sword in particular was balanced and the reason why it is balanced is repeatedly posted here in this channel as some sort of copypasta.
The best way to address this issue is by simply adding in more melee options in the game and rework/buff the current underperforming melee weapons. Providing players more options and familiarity.

BUFF THE V9S
No one ever plays it anymore because it has seen no improvements while other weapons across all classes have increased in light killing effectiveness. Its a single fire weapon that sucks at range, but hipfire is unreliable, so you end up losing close quarters most times. It can't even kill a medium by surprise if they have good reflexes, unless you literally hit EVERY SINGLE shot. You miss literally once and you're dead. Increase damage and reduce mag size, or reduce recoil. It is in a miserable state.
People say that its good because a full mag does 800 dmg, no, a full mag does 800 dmg only at <10 meters, then damage MAJORLY falls off. It takes 7 SHOTS to kill a LIGHT at 20 meters, whereas XP takes 9 shots, but the XP has a MUCH higher firerate and larger mag size, plus its full auto so you can just hold down and aim, instead of picking and choosing your shots. LH1, another single fire weapon, only takes 4, and thats after the nerf. The only time the V9S outshoots the XP is at <10 meters, but single fire weapons at close range is not reliable. You can easily hipfire the XP and hit far more shots than V9S, solely because you can afford to miss a few times in your spray.
When compared to medium weapons, FCAR, FAMAS, etc we get the same results. TTK data is misleading because it assuming 100% hit shots, so heres # of shots to kill:

what i really love is how you've made TDM the most enjoyable mode by allowing for perpetual blindness from flashbangs and the doubling of the opposing teams dps with full medium teams running turrets. The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.
With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
V9s isn't fun to use and zero reason to pic over xp and M11 so to make it better it could have perfect hipfire accuracy like counter strike and it would be a unique niche

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.
Breach charge should break smaller holes in walls so lights can minimise exposure that large destructon has right now, because u have 3 charges u can still make bigger holes.It should still stack damage.
I think taking out Bank It was maybe the worst decision the devs have made by far. Not even in season 3 was replacing the ranked version of cashout with terminal attack was this bad because we still got the option to play cashout with world tour and giving us a little bit of a change with the rank gameplay. But taking out bank it which is one of the only 2 gamemodes that make this game different from any others was a bad call. Why take out a gamemode that is unique to this game and replacing it with something so generic, has really no objective, and can be found in almost in other fps you play. What was the thought process here. I don't wee why every time you add something new you have to take something away. We saw this early going from s2 to s3 you took out both single round Cashout and Ranked Tournament to give us world tour and Ranked TA. I'm not saying that you can't change the game and give us something new. What I am saying why do we have to get rid of a gamemode in order to add a new one. At bare minimum give us some sort of an arcade type gamemode where it will randomize various quick play gamemodes such as quick cash, single round cashout, bank it, powershift, and tdm, and put us in one of those random gamemodes.
Please revert the sword nerf. There's so many counters to it. Turrets, glitch traps, flamethrower, minigun, etc. It's completely gutted now, and no fun. I have been a sword main since season 0, but am now forced to use a gun. The reason why I loved the finals was it's unique weapons, but now the only real choices are guns
Coming from someone who has spent at least 1000 total in-game hours using sword specifically:
There is no amount of skill you could possibly possess to make the sword viable at high levels of play anymore, at all. It's genuinely one of the worst weapons in the game now due to the damage nerf.
The damage was never the issue. The hitbox is too fat, and the lunge has too much effective range, with too much of a lingering hitbox, allowing sword users to hit with the very end of the lunge animation, basically right as they're preparing for another lunge. These were the main issues with the sword and none of these issues were actually addressed.
Instead, they panicked, and just.. nerfed the damage, even though it was already objectively THE SLOWEST time to kill weapon on light for all classes, besides the light lunge + qm combo, which wasn't ever an issue anyways since light has everything in its toolbox to completely counter a sword light (dash out of the way, or grapple away, or gateway to a safe location, find an off angle, etc)
So glad embark completely ruined an entire playstyle instead of fixing the actual issues that were causing player frustration.

I agree. The lingering hitbox of the lunge is really what may have caused the oppressiveness of the sword. And you are right about how the light lunge + quick melee combo is relativly easy for the light to escape if they know what they are doing. Some frustration may arise from the fact that sword + dash's unique playstyle is much different than other playstyles for other weapons, so for new players, it make seem unfair due to lack of knowledge of counterplay. This is why playing sword + dash is high risk high reward. If Embark takes away the reward, then the risk is not worth it. Hopefully we can see Embark making tweaks to the sword in 6.6.

Even though the nerf to sword is absurd, unfortunately I think they will leave it gutted for some time if not permanently due to a fear a of public outcry from casual players and not wanting to admit mistakes. Reverting it would make them appear like they have no idea what they are doing in regards to balance (which is deserved tbf), and that they simply did it to appease to mob mentality. It's a Pontius Pilate situation and the sword players are the ones sacrificed to appease the mob.

I think sword's alt should get either reverted or replaced entirely. As it is now the alt is an active detriment to gameplay because just swinging and qm canceling that is faster. With stun gun coming back, which was already the main counter to sword, the lunge is going to drag this weapon down further.
Solo Q is some hell. Wouldnāt mind it if everyone in the lobby was also solo queueing but thatās not the case.
Constantly put up against 3 stacks on each other team while I get new players on mine. I donāt blame the new players. Sucks we donāt have the population to just have separate solo and group queues for certain modes.

I know a lot of people don't like melee weapons (ok understandable) but so many of them are in such a bad place right now. Not because the melee weapons are bad but just because of how dominant many of the other classes short ranged weapons are. Cerberus, Double Barrel, and Minigun are all guns that just out ttk every melee weapon easily in addition to being able to deal damage from range. I would love to see something done about this in the mid season patch please embark!
why not allow people to do more club dailies or change what counter for it the out of 10? its just a little odd to me seeing 10 doable challenges but i can only be limited to 2

So Embark made it so that the damage feed after you die only shows the last 3 or so seconds. If that wasn't stupid enough, this also seems to have made it so that if you Lockbolt someone as they go over a jump pad to their death, you will not get credit.

Weapons must be fun first, balanced second. Sword was annoying, so it was effectively disabled. Eventually it will be reworked or changed somehow to be fun.

The ks-23 needs 100% accuracy, any other buff is pointless
The ks-23 is the only direct hit projectile weapon that is not afforded the luxury of accuracy which is the main reason its suffering. In concept its great and i love the gun, but anyone who has played it for any significant ammount of time knows that its main point of frustration is its unrelieability. Because of the spread targets beyond 8 meters are a gamble to hit. The feature inplace to make it a skillful weapon is already the projectile, however this is ruined by the spread. You can predict your targets movement, lead your shot correctly but still miss because the game decided your slug goes left.
The only buff the ks needs to be good is accuracy. Buffs like range falloff or firerate wouldnt solve the underlying issue of it being frustrating to use beyond 8 meters, headshots without accuracy are pointless, damage is going to force winch ks back which was not very fun to die to. A bigger projectile would maybe work but decrease the guns skill expression.
Even with 100% accuracy the gun would be far from op due to the small mag and bad ttk. However it would be a lot more fun and a lot less frustrating to use
also can we get a eclipse shade revolver so we have one that doesnt clash so heavily with the dot sight

I think it would be cool if we eventually got back some if the more fun strategies from the game's past. Grappling onto explosive barrels was peak movement, and making airplanes out of goo was some of the best ingenuity I've seen in a game in years. The destruction and physics in this game is really what sets it apart from other games, and these fun little exploits that didn't hurt other people's game experience were a huge part of what turned the finals into my favorite online game. Some things like snuking were completely oppressive and we're better off without them, but the fun and creative strategies are like core memories for me. I would like to see some of them back someday.

Incendiary shell is the most frustrating and unskilled mechanic ever, I keep getting situations where I clutch the last member of a team and still die after him from the burn itās dumb af and thereās literally nothing you can do to counter that.

cheaters would actually benefit the most from their cheats on heavy, as gamesense is less important compared to aim with a longer time until death. Even if a light had perfect aim you could win many engagements against them due to ambush, burst or HP advantage, for a heavy itās a lot harder.

in my opinion there are some aspects which make this game less appealing to casual players
-no map choice
some weapons, especially interesting off-meta ones can see differences in usability based on the map, punishing someone for trying to have fun with their favorite weapon
being able to que up for any mode and any map at once like in tf2 would be awesome, but even just the choice between 2 different maps in any given mode would already help a lot, since it makes our favorites twice as likely to be available, while allowing for personalized variety
-team stacking
the advantage of communication and coordination frequently creates matches where you have basically 0 chance of winning and just waste your time
(even worse if they always throw the box away and camp it to farm kills while prevent everyone else from playing the objective)
leaving as precaution then leaves your team even worse off
trying to match stacks more amongst themselves, or adding an option for extended solo matchmaking, trading time for fairer match ups would help against this
but giving an xp boost (which is already given to the team having an easier time) to someone going up against a stack could at least take some of the sting out and make sticking around worthwhile
-3rd parties
the more invested you are in the objective, the harder/more often youre punished, its not ideal
adding more 5v5 modes has been great so far, but getting to try 5v5 QC/cashout would be the last bit of variety we need (not limited in regen, respawn and items like TA, not open to sight-lines/spam like PS, but actually objective focused unlike TDM)
i think improving on these points could make the game a lot more enjoyable and help keep players around

Please for Season 8 have a matchmaking playlist dedicated to new players where new players are paired with and against other new players regardless of player count. For Stacked Teams try to pair them up against other stacked/partied teams. Stacked teams with full comms should not be going up against solo players.

I think it's cause it's not a perk from game pass but a dlc included with the game so once your membership ends you lose access to both. Like you would with cod and a map pack for example

93r less time gap between bursts and slightly less fire rate of burst as each burst is so quick it might as well be on bullet being fired and buff damage to compensate for lower and manageable fire rate.So u can fire slowly to make it more accurate or keep firing it like an auto so u can switch between the two and u have flexibility.
Make dagger alt have one tap like before plus u can hold.
Ks23 need one wall penetration with lower damage after hitting the wall for balance,it needs slightly faster projectile speed and 1.2 head shot multiplier(mainly to deal with other heavies with minigun)

The game is literally hurting because of a really bad matchmaking. Ranked is a joke on gold already. World Tour is a sweatshow.
It also keeps new players away because they are being stomped. Keep sweats in their own region even if it means prolonged search timer. But otherwise it will hurt even more.
Something needs to be done to xp5. It overshadows most other light options and you just got beamed non stop in all game modes

Add kusarigama for light,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage ONLY where blade hits NOT the WHOLE CHAIN,itās skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction,a mix of projectile and melee.
To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.
There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim
U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.
Either u canāt use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else itās the most dull experience chasing player as a medium
Quickplay progression isnāt a ranked system, itās badges that you get for playing. Itās just there so that casual players get to see a number go up as they play. It doesnāt do anything to matchmaking.
Not only this, but sbmm is there for casuals. Casuals are generally at the lowest tier on the skill ladder. So sbmm to match them with other casuals can only be a good thing. Without sbmm they would get matched with players that are better than them.
All of this being said, finals barely has sbmm in the first place. Itās incredibly light and only really exists for new players so they get matched against other new players.

Still no stun gun after a month. It should come back . Waiting for 6.6 now...
Cheaters are spreading all over the game. A lot of wallhack and aimbot.
**Servers need an improvement fast. It's still boring to need behind a cover because your dash do not register correctly with the netcode. **
For the game
- Add "step" in the reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completly reset.
- Increase the netcode/tickrate/servers. Getting kill at 3m far from a hammer/sword or behind a wall / door / cover is not ACCEPTABLE. Servers can't register your movements
- Perma ban cheaters
- Add a report option " Sabotage " in the report section in game please.
- Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
- Let us go in practice with friends
- Delete low gravity event. It's not fun AT ALL and unfair for Light. Movement are cancel and they only got 150HP
- Random skin and charm list for weapons/gadgets
- We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad and didn't play during the round
- Let us invite friends or join them in group even if we are not the group leader
- Add the possibility to look at the profil/card of friends and recent players.
- Dash is trash with your netcode. Servers can't register a dash behind a cover and you will die anyway
- **Give us the possibility to customize rules in private match. Like "only M and Dual Blade", "only Light and SR84", "only marksman", "No heal, Light only and grenade only". You can imagine all you want and put it in private match for streamer and their community to make the game more fun **
** For balance **
- You shouldn't be able to right clic sword + dash
- CB01-Repeater is just stupidly OP. Nerf the damage
- CL40 revert the buff.
- Buff Vanish Bomb and make it start regen instant and/or. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
- Nerf Turret range.
- Nerf proximity sensor range
- Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR
- **Nerf Cerberus damage ! **
- Nerf the range of the KS shotgun. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did in 5.8 with that.
- LH1 nerf was to strong in 6.0. Buff it to 45 dmg.
- Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls or other.
- Nerf the hammer like you did for the sword to 100, because > Winch + Hammer + Melee = Free Kill. Same with chains.
- Revive and Objectives score should add additional points in ranked
- Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive more safety !
- Rework Sonar : Scan 5 times instead of 3 but if you don't move it can't scan you
- Chain and hook shouldn't do damage.

The recon tracking dart gun honestly just needs a rework or some kind of push. It's not useful in most situations. I have no earthly idea how it could be changed lol. Maybe it could show hp through walls too? That might be an awesome buff tbh.
