i think after unlocking all the weapons you should be able to exchange VRs for multibucks in small amounts. Something like 100:1 to incentivize playing the game more consistently. I think propping up the queue and its userbase is a fair trade for not buying skins. Most people who buy skins were gonna do it anyways

I feel people just need to start de-fibbing bodys in a safe location because ive been seeing so many people use de-fib like we are still in season 2. But I do understand where your coming from

I feel like the DAGGER could have more dash with the second attack and also a faster alt charging, rn sword does everything better, with the dagger you need to be like, 3 meters in range with the target? Alt atack maybe 5? And even though you swing attacks at the same speed as the sword you do less dmg, and backstabs frequently lend to elbow stabs, In a game where everyone kills a light in less than a SEC, buffing the DAGGER seems like the obvious choice to me, it is fun but... a bad sword.

please add an amethyst gem skin either as:

  • weapon mastery [have a card in the weapon's overview page that says: "x" amount of kills, damage, tournament wins, etc.] once you achieve all the challenges you unlock the skin for that gun. Make this take time as it is the mastery amethyst, same as our badges. (It would be nice if it can track from S1 but I understand if it was a fresh start)

or

  • The end of all the weapon levels [ex: lvl 15 skin is the gem skin, players will push for that grinding out the weapon to show their mastery] (I know embark doesn't have all guns gemmed yet but at some point) As and end level skin make it cost 1 mil xp or have it require "x" amount of tourney wins (like how emerald s3 was).

This allows players to "target" what they want instead of the ONLY waiting for random gemmed skins every season. I understand keeping emerald and diamond for seasonal fomo, but amethyst would be adding to the collection. Also you would be earning it at the same time! Players would understand the mastery behind the amethyst gem skin since our badge top mastery level is amethyst. Either way embark wants to add it, I just say this now as a solo player if the gem skins don't interest me I don't grind for the season.
Also I don't know if embark cares but I would be nice if they added S1-S3 badges and backgrounds for veterans players. They can even go all they back to the closed betas if they want. It's small nitpick but it would be nice

i still cant comprehend why dagger and sword alt attacks get cancelled on too short of an input and yet throwing knives have been working just fine

its such a simple thing that ruins one too many fights for absolutely 0 reason

many argue that i just need a better sense of time to time it better without slipping up, and sure theyre right to an extent but I find that absolutely absurd to be expected to do so just to use a certain weapon (especially when others are fine) as it has 0 relevance to the skill that should be required to actually use the weapon. Its like when games have absurdly bad camera systems to where you have to train yourself on how to use the camera before you can even play the game. its just annoying and provides no benefits to the enjoyment of playing the game

just to add a bit more to my rant, why are you guys nerfing the already inconsistent backstabs the daggers were designed to operate by and buffing the light attacks that were meant to be bad in a way to punish those with bad placement or strategy? this is the exact opposite of what the dagger needed and every dagger user wanted - it only gives us more of a reason to use the already overused sword as the dagger slowly shifts into being a worse version of it

get rid of goo gun if youre gunna rework stun indefinitely, why can a 350hp heavy stop me in my tracks repeatedly no cool down 20 times but i cant stun him for 3.5 seconds at 150hp. make that make any form of sense, especially when im 1shot to half the weapons. also, cerb is only liked by absolute dorks, nerf it or get rid of it, dying to fire after outplaying a team or getting away (ya know, what light is supposed to be able to do) is the most aids thing ive ever experienced outside of all of heavys easy cop out panic damage they can throw at you when youre fighting them with strategical advantage i.e. panic slam, panic RPG (especially when they throw in a bubble and a mesh or double heavy bubble and mesh while getting sucked on by their medium healer giving them the equivalent to 1000hp)

😩 I did not say "take away" defib sickness. That is towards your section about "defib shouldn't allow you to immediately go in to a fight -".
With reviving, at least you'd still have whatever amount of ammo left in your weapon when you died but the cool down, due to defib sickness, on gadgets remains due to the sickness. What I said was to have the heal beam cure defib sickness. Give a person back their kit the moment a heal beam is used on them. Maybe the medium will stick around too, heal the person completely. Keep the beam on them, keep them alive a little longer to do damage to a sudden light walking in with a sword or double barrel. And if they do this all while strategically reviving the person, ey look at that, teamwork happened and flourishes. This idea is to push for more teamwork cause still, to this day, so very often, anytime I've gotten revived I get near immediately killed cause the medium didn't want to stay, didn't want to heal, or I was killed cause a heavy and two lights walked in or a light in general walked in. If the medium at least squirted a little bit of the healing beam my way after reviving me but right before them dying, I'd like to at least throw a grenade before getting squashed instead of reloading my gun cause the amount of ammo isn't enough to push back or trade with an enemy. Maybe even a goo grenade to block, hide, sneak, and then revive the person who revived me.
All to incentivize teamwork just a little more.

MVP is won by whoever has the highest combat, support, and objective score of the winning team at the end of a match or tournament.

Quitters need to be punished much more heavily. It's actually insane how many times I backfill into fucked matches and have teammates quit at the very first wipe/couple of deaths. Having people quit so often destroys the integrity of the matches and almost always skews ongoing matches in one teams favor.

Ngl, I preferred when offensive gadgets did more damage. I never liked Battlefield or CoD because of the huge emphasis on guns and getting the best accuracy and lightning fast reflexes to be good. I've praised the finals to give me an alternative of being creative with gadgets and turning the tides with well-set traps. Now, mines and grenades are more of a minor inconveniences that is more about area denial than actually punishing those in range, the rocket launcher is more useful to do self-damage and break walls, you need to be a fortune teller to predict where to use the C4 to make good use out of it.... It's disadvantageous to use gadgets for damage because they don't have enough dps with their deployment time compared to just shooting the opponent. Just shoot-em fast, move fast and don't miss too often (or try to retreat), that's the go-to way to win a gunfight. I get it, that playstyle is popular... But I really missed the times where my killfeed had more various causes of death other than primary weapons and when I could more frequently get outplayed by creative players rather than just losing to a reflex/aim competition against tryhards and hackers.

Just had to wait about 45 seconds to respawn in "quick" cash. The changes have made it worse than S1-S3 QC by far, it either takes 7 seconds to respawn (in which you cant change your loadout for the first 8 seconds by the way), or about 30. Change first kill respawn time to 25s, change teamwipe to fully reset to 20s, and make it so if anyone dies while another teammates has 5 or less second left they start a new wave. And make it so as soon as you die, you can change loadout instead of having to stare at the enemy move.

Light breach charge needs to break smaller holes that’s enough for lights to peek and shoot or go through and don’t leave large open holes like it already does and besides no one needs that level of destruction and it’s almost NEVER used!!!!!
Make damage STACK at least close to season 1 breach charge.

Other competitive FPS games have solo-queue only lobbies as an option when the main ranked mode is teams. I STRONGLY recommend this, as it would make the experience of ranked much more fair to players that don’t always have friends to play with, or can’t get into a call here because people kick them out

Although the queue times would likely be incredibly slow, it would be worth it knowing the games you join are much more evenly matched, and every game actually has a chance to win for once.

I love the actual balance but sword lights are the worst "insert all known insults" of all time. Hitbox is far too big, Multihit shouldnt be a thing, dash + Sword lunge shouldnt catapult big distances.. A sword shouldnt be able to do what hammer did before the overhead swing nerf.. its bananas..
Fixes: Either fix melee in general ( even quick melee is a bit broken atm.. ) or make it so that the dash resets the sword lunge so you have to load it again. This is a pain for casuals and a big nono for newcomer. Make this game newbie friendly to grow.

The Head Hunter World Tour mode is very confusing and not fun due to how random the money is. It leads to the same sort of issues from previous iterations of Cashout, where you have no ability to come back due to the differences in money.

I feel like sword players are mad predictable even the really good ones. There's only so many ways for the sword guy to get close to you which leads to easily predictable behaviors regardless of skill level. That's not to say I don't have trouble with some really good users but goo gun, lock bolt, and your weapon of choice shuts that shit down

My Feedback as a powershift player and season 6 almost enjoyer.

The Platform must keep moving for the last team that capped it, Too many games end in one sided domination from stacking teams against randoms and spawn trapping to farm kills.

The Spawns need to be more diverse, Powershift mains know all the spawns and will destroy all mobility tools and trap spawns.

Swords need to be only able to hit one person or less damage since they can wipe a whole powershift platform solo. (Ive tried the counters they dont work because of ping or games choices)

Dual blades need some sort of slow or Preferably a new specialisation for medium that gives them short term movement speed. because its too ez to counter them by just running away before they have to hit a whole combo on you

Flashbangs need to be toned down a little or atleast remove one of them.

Sensors should no longer work through walls.

Make the Fcar and AKM feel alot more different, they both seem to fill the same roll now and it comes down to whichever has the best dps that season.

Please, please, please dear god add sbmm to WT. it’s not fun getting stomped by players who are 10 or 20 levels above me. I don’t care if I still lose, I’d rather lose in my skill level, not against people who are above me in every way.

Also, I don’t know if anyone has watched his video, but add Macros suggestion for WT. the suggestion was that whether or not you lose, people should get one Win point for every 10k or 15k cash you make. This actually makes sense, considering that the leaderboard isn’t based off win points or wins, but in cash. This would also help make the grind of WT, which takes around 100 hours to do for the average player, more bearable.

Nahhhhhhh that would absolutely kill sword. The issue with sword is a skill issue. It's incredibly strong in casual but weak in high elo rank because people understand how easy it is it counter sword. People always complain about it with it's just a skill issue on their part. They don't ever even fathom to maybe use one of the many ways to counter sword

Edit: I'm not saying that high rank players are the only ones capable of countering sword because of their skill compared to casuals. I'm saying that casuals tend to not give a single effort into actually thinking for a second on how to counter, which can be done quite easily. Just off the top of my head, lock bolt, keep distance (easiest one to implement, jump pad (between sword and you or jump in the air so sword can't hit you), goo gun, close range guns and not melee other than sword (melee tends to just be free kills for sword), wrench claw, and more. The counter to sword I get 100%, but if you miss the lockbolt, sol, if you aren't running flamethrower, sol, if you aren't running goo gun/grenade/winch/shotguns, sol, fix hit reg, disable quick melee on melee weapons, and make it so that dash resets heavy attack so they have to think when to heavy attack and when to dash,it isn't fun or fair to run into one of them who can dash past my screen and back before I can turn my camera back on a controller, I'd much rather fight a winch/sledge or spear cuz at least they have to hit a skill shot before demolishing me, also bring back bank it and make the head hunter event happen more than once

Don't allow the player to use winch until after animations like the KS-23 pump or the SA1216 barrel rotation are done. That would avoid the player getting what's basically a double animation because they used Winch 0.01 seconds too early.

Its not a skill issue because you are playing with sonar grenade and you can know our exact positions and just jump in from an unexpected direction. so what do we have currently?
its left click doing 74 (fine) right click damage being 140 with AOE (issue). sledge was changed to not multhit with its heavy attack for a reason do the same for this.
effective range of this increases by a lot when combining dash+ sword alt/right click, 6m 7m to something like 11m-12m although light becomes a human bullet. so he is vulnerable to mines and being shot while coming at a target.

this range increase makes so sword achieves slightly better range of effectiveness off the double barrel with the disadvantages of positioning and not able to interact with stuff if they dont get close (activating mines, damaging props and other stuff in the map), also being line of sight exposed when attacking to gunfire and gadgets

Assuming a light player uses dash +sword or dash + double barrel with both having vanish bomb...

So sword can do (140+40) (180) to oneshot light from 11-12m while double barrel two shots them in 10 m and needs to be at 4m-5m to oneshot them

So sword can (140+140) (280) to two shot medium with 11-12m while double barrel needs 6-7m to two shot them (light can also 140+40+74 for similar two shot)

So sword can (140+40)+(140+40) (360) to two shot a heavy with 11-12m while double barrel needs 4-5m to two shot them...

main differences important to point out double barrel has to reload sword does not, sword is forced to use dash to engage while double barrel can decide depending on situation. sword has AOE double barrel does not.

I'm OK with the range and all, but if your going for a Lunge, you shouldn't be able to draw massive circles to hit left and right of your corridor. The polarizing nature has way more to do with dash than sword itself. Dash is a binary check of: "Can you track? Yes/No." Your answer to that question entirely determines what a dash player can do, and sword intensifies this by giving dash a hitbox. This is also why m11, another weapon that synergizes with dash, gets a ton of flack despite being completely balanced.

What needs to happen is dash getting a rework, not sword.

I think sword is too easy to play for what it can do. You have a build in dash 2, combos to kill every class + multi hit potential and i feel like they should nerf the multi hit. Make it harder to do like most good players just does 360 and hit every one in the range at the end of there dash. Which is bs. I saw some players 2 hit combos 2 mediums with that. There are counter play to those things but i think it should get a dmg nerf to multi hits or do some thing about 360 turning.

Please buff the V9S, it gets no love anymore. You never see it in high ELO. I love the weapon but it is outperformed by nearly every other light weapon. Missing even 1-2 shots can easily cost you the fight, even when surprising enemies, and the hipfire is NOT consistent. Also, damage falloff is insane, at 20 meters it takes 5 HEADSHOTS to kill a light, 7 body. Seriously you killed RPM then just left it in the dust. Other guns have the RPM and mag size to be able to miss 3-5 shots and still come out on top, but not the V9S. Also, this is from playing nearly 300 hours with JUST the V9S, so I do know what im talking about. Make the gun viable again please.

Honestly, I can't believe how broken this game has become. I keep getting matched with the same people, and the skill gap between teams is just absurd. It's like there's no balance at all. The game feels seriously messed up right now.

There’s no one left who seems to be around my skill level. Most players are grouped up in pre-made teams, and somehow, not a single strong player ever ends up on my team. It’s just ridiculous.

These unfair situations keep happening over and over again, and honestly, it’s exhausting. I come to games to relieve stress—not to add more of it. But lately, it feels like the player base has shifted completely. If I speak as someone who’s somewhere in the middle skill-wise, I’d say that mid-level players have basically vanished.

It’s not that I play too much or aim to climb high—I just enjoy the game. But it feels like only high-level players are left now. The middle ground is gone, and I have no idea where those players went. Right now, just launching the game feels like walking into a nightmare.

Who would want to start playing this game in its current state? No one. Absolutely no one wants to get stomped repeatedly and somehow still be expected to have fun.

That’s how I feel right now. It’s incredibly frustrating. Even when I win, the situations I find myself in are just nonsense. And the worst part is—this seems to be the new normal.

Who would want to touch a game that keeps heading in this direction? My love for it is fading fast. I really hope the developers snap out of it soon—before it’s too late.

I believe it has a lot of potential, but there are a few issues that are causing the game to be more frustrating than fun. The obvious n1 culprit is the clear mismatch between new players and skilled veterans being put in matches against each other - ridiculous to say the least, and that's on casual mode, don't get me started on WT or ranked.

Secondly, for a multiplayer game that claims to want people to play together as a team, there is very little in set in place in game to encourage coop and teamwork in matches, causing people to grief their teammates by leaving losing matches and leaving teams with 2/3 players out of 5 (in casual modes). It's been happening pretty much every single game I've played the last two days, especially in Power Shift & Cash Out. It gives the opponents an unfair advantage and makes it extremely unfun for people replacing the griefers mid match, especially if they're joining a losing team with 1 min/30 seconds to go until the game ends. Is there any punishment mechanism for people who grief their teammates by leaving the game at the beginning of/mid game? If not, can something be implemented? For players joining a match on a losing team with a minute or less, the loss shouldn't count towards their stats like it currently does and perhaps they should have some grace period/incentive to stay so that they also don't exit.

Lastly, please add more incentives for people on the same team to work together (especially on casual game modes/ PS where the objective is literally to move the platform together) by making support/objective scores, revives and assists more valuable to encourage team co-op. It might even be worth adding support scores/assists/objective scores to player card stats as only kills, wins and revives don't really reflect other players teamwork and coop capabilities.

Sword is perfectly balanced and healthy. It’s strong in enclosed areas because it’s a fucking melee weapon on the lowest HP class in the game, so it literally has to be or it would be unusably bad even in close quarters.

  • Lunge doing 138+ is mandatory to be viable. <138 = Breakpoints are garbage.
  • Quick Melee comboing is mandatory to be viable. No QM comboing = Breakpoints are garbage.
  • Dash-lunge synergy is mandatory to be viable. No synergy = Bad even in closer ranges.
  • Multihit is mandatory to be viable. No multihit = Unusable if more than 1 enemy exists.
  • Lingering flicks are mandatory to be viable. No flicks = Can only go straight = Over-predictable = Useless, especially vs ranged hitscan.

Burst shotguns still shit on Sword even in melee range. In return Sword is literal trash in open areas. And this is a game where you can destroy nearly any part of the map.

People refusing to do any of the many counters in the game is entirely their own fault. This isn’t specific to Sword either. Same goes for something like short-range guns versus long-range guns in short-range fights and long-range fights, one side will always have to do something or play differently to make up for the inherent disadvantage.

There are playstyle and equipment counters to every single thing in the game. Sword or not, every situation will not always be an even 50-50 odds of winning, that’s stupid. Sometimes you’ll be advantaged and it’ll force enemies to play around that, and sometimes, the enemies will be advantaged and force you to play around that.

I think V9S is a pretty good weapon, I do wonder why people don't use it... it's not objectively outperformed by anything, having generally good ttk, mag, range, hipfire and reloads.
Assuming missing constant values of shots between weapons with different firerates is a dishonest comparison.
If it wasn't for the mental and mechanical overhead of having to handle a tap fire weapon with its rpm, it'd be almost objectively better than the XP-54.

edit: ok, it turns out I'd somehow got the wrong values for its damage dropoff. Its range is actually significantly worse than I thought, had to edit to fix the graph posted. But I think its other merits are still quite meaningful!!!

Its very upsetting that the model and ks23 are deeply affected by jab cancel. I understand that you want these to weapons to play at a specific range but the lack of jab cancel ends up making them worthless at close range.

Ks23's best specialisation is winch as it enhances what makes the weapon good and makes up for the weapon's weakness. The other specialisations, while are fine picks, do not specifically enhance the weapon in any specific way. Ks23 cannot take advantage of the quick switch to goo gun as it needs to pump, can't take advantage of mesh either well because of pump, charge and slam isn't that amazing of a specialisation and ks23 excels more at pumping out damage in close range without it (not to mention that it can break walls on its own). Ks23 is very much enhanced by winch due to its free one shot with it. However, the removal of jab cancel has really hurt the feel, fun and effectiveness of the weapon at close range and with winch. You can be more disciplined and be more careful with jabs, but it is still just far weaker than other weapons without jab cancel at close range. Not to mention that all of heavy's other weapons can jab as they please and close the gap in health far faster than ks23.

Model is another weapon that's far more enhanced by jab and the lack of jab cancel hurts it deeply. Again, I understand that you would like the weapon to play at a certain range, however, because of the damage nerf to the model, it has made jab combos with the weapon more important than ever. It has made model most effective at jab range and borderline worthless at mid range despite the fire rate buff. Not to mention that it's a shotgun and long range is simply not an option for the model. At close range, it is also simply just outclassed by cerberus, which doesn't need jab cancel.

What's most frustrating is cerberus not being held down by the constraints of jab. It doesn't need jab at all to be effective but isn't affected if it uses jab in-between shots

its funny to me that everyone seems to know how to fix this game, yet hardly any of them agree with each other. I think they are expressing more a dissatisfaction with their experience, not the balance as a whole.

For instance, I dont like any of the melee or explosive weapons, and personally wish I didnt have to deal with them. That doesent necessarily mean that they are overpowered, just that my playstyle can be thwarted by them in abrupt and annoying ways. Boo hoo I guess, but thats not good enough reason to nerf them into the ground or remove them, Im not the only player after all.

I also find it funny that everyone likes to bring up all the theoretical counters for a complained about weapon. Are there counters? Of course. But are 90% of the listed counters effective ones? Mmmmm not usually. In reality, these people are ignoring all the problems with the weapon and its interaction with the game in favor of pointing out why its actually fair and balanced numbers wise or "skill issue" wise.

Overall, this game and its playerbase is one that will have to just learn how to play around its unique mechanics, frustrations, and problems. Similar to how I imagine Team Fortress 2 was when it was a younger game. People STILL complain about tf2, but oh well I guess. Maybe we will never really grow up and stop complaining lol.

Missing shots isnt a dishonest comparison when you consider mag size and RPM. You cant really quantify the full auto versus single fire trait, but we do know that single fire works best at range, like LH1, Pike and so on. In order for the V9S to outshoot XP it has be at very close range, which favors XP. The XP can pepper bullets in an area much more easily than the V9S, so people need to be less accurate.

Its more of a skill thing, which would be fine IF the tradeoff of being high skill means that I have a decent advantage, but from your chart you can see that in the 0-10 meter range the difference is nearly negligible, making even surprise encounters risky. And being high skill in the 10-20 meter range means little as the XP has large advantage, PLUS the 10-20 meter range is where the majority of shootouts are fought.

TLDR, the V9S seems to be built for close range, yet its a single fire weapon that struggles with close range accuracy, especially when on the move, which lights always need to be.

I think there should be some kind of system for rewarding playing creatively or stylishly, the type of stuff y'all show in your trailers and that people love to clip. Cashbox trickshots, kills with unusual stuff like jump pads or flowerpots, nukes, mass destruction, parkour, etc. I think it'd encourage players to focus more on having fun instead of exclusively being competitive. Make it just as effective to play silly as it is to play serious.

True, I went off on a bit of a tangent there. I'll be honest I dont feel like mathing it out and min/maxing the numbers, but there is merit in someone who is very experienced making comments about the weapon. For example, just today I engaged a medium from the top of a building, ~20-25 meters away. I hit him 6 times in the body before he located and started shooting me. I then had to move around a bit to try and dodge, I missed 2 of 3 of my next shots, and in that VERY SHORT period he did 170 damage with the AKM and killed me. I did I think it was ~230 damage to him. I dont know how many shots he hit/missed.

This happens often, no matter how much I surprise people I only have a 60% chance of coming out of an encounter alive, and its NOT because I missed constantly, its because if I miss even ONCE, I can easily die. We were also only comparing the XP, the TTK on mediums versus any of the standard weapons (FAMAS, AKM, FCAR especially) is NOT enough.

Again, I haven't run the numbers, but I've played the V9S for at least 300 hours and am a diamond light main. Its not SUPER underpowered, it just feels like I need to try twice as hard for the same result as the XP, M11, ARN etc.

Cerberus 12GA needs a very slight damage nerf. Currently, it is capable of doing 151 damage in a single hit (12 pellets that do 10 damage each + 31 burn damage).

A Medium or Heavy being able to do >149 damage in a single hit with a ranged weapon is unhealthy. The only reason it’s healthy Light can do 150+ damage in a single hit with a ranged weapon is because Light has only 150 HP, meaning a Light who oneshots other Lights can have the exact same done back to them. AKA, it’s perfectly symmetrical.

Light versus Medium or Heavy is not symmetrical because of the different HP values. Light cannot do 250 or 350 damage back in a single ranged weapon hit (nor should they be able to). Likewise, Medium/Heavy being able to do 150 damage in a single ranged weapon hit is also unhealthy.

  • Pellets: 12 -> 13
  • Damage per pellet: 10 -> 9

This reduces total pellet damage from 120 to 117 a shot, which changes zero breakpoints. 120 x 2 was 240, 117 x 2 is 234. 120 x 3 was 360, 117 x 3 is 351.

Burn damage is still 31, so this reduces total pellet + burn damage from 151 to 148. This changes Light breakpoint from 1 (+ Burn) to 1 + QM or 2.

This successfully solves with a mere 3 damage nerf, less than 2% of the original value, the problem of a Medium or Heavy ranged weapon doing more than 149 damage in a single hit, without compromising anything else. All other breakpoints with or without the burn will be the exact same.

  • Medium: 2 + Burn, 2 + QM, or 3
  • Heavy: 3

I just solo queued a ranked game and my teammates were silver 3 and gold 4, im currently plat 2.... the teams we played against were diamond/ruby. Explain to me how it also makes sense we are second seed losing 800 rs for 5-6 place. whatever rs adjustment is being put into place to average out teams is a good idea and all but holy shit I cannot keep babysitting new players going against top 50 teams, its not competitive for anyone and makes the games extremely one sided. Maybe the SBMM should be considered for fill teammates instead of just rank but considering I can queue up with silvers while im plat says otherwise.

To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.

There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim

U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.

Either u can’t use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else it’s the most dull experience chasing player as a medium

  • Add "step" in the reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completly reset.
  • Increase the netcode/tickrate/servers. Getting kill at 3m far from a hammer/sword or behind a wall / door / cover is not ACCEPTABLE. Servers can't register your movements
  • Perma ban toxic players and cheaters
  • Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
  • Let us go in practice with friends
  • Delete low gravity event. It's not fun AT ALL and unfair for Light. Movement are cancel and they only got 150HP
  • Random skin and charm list for weapons/gadgets
  • We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad and didn't play during the round
  • Let us invite friends or join them in group even if we are not the group leader
  • Add the possibility to look at the profil/card of friends and recent players.
  • Dash is trash with your netcode. Servers can't register a dash behind a cover and you will die anyway
  • **Give us the possibility to customize rules in private match. Like "only M and Dual Blade", "only Light and SR84", "only marksman", "No heal, Light only and grenade only". You can imagine all you want and put it in private match for streamer and their community to make the game more fun **
  • Let us use our VR for XP weapons or other things (not from me but very interresting idea !)

  • Nerf the range of the KS shotgun. You can put 100 dmg at 20m easy.
  • Nerf PIKE to 48 instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did in 5.8 with that.
  • LH1 nerf was to strong in 6.0. Buff it to 45 dmg.
  • Buff Light survability or DPS. Light should be the DPS class but the game is always around Medium and Heavy class
  • Nerf a bit Deagle damage or range
  • Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls or other.

  • Revive and Objectives score should add additional points in ranked

Seasonal badges will still be locked behind their respective season but it sucks that most weapon skins will be locked behind a single season. If I reach Emerald / Diamond or even Ruby I should be able to choose one of the already released skins instead of a skin I might not even use by trading in one of their respective coins.

This would not only be a great QoL change but also encourage more people to actually grind these playlists leading to a healthier playerbase.

Such matches don’t have any sense. Imagine being stomped by top-1k players and having like 0.2 KD, but as compensation you just don’t lose many points...

The top priority for any competitive game should be to provide fair and balanced matches as much as possible. That’s what makes a competitive game/mode truly enjoyable or at least meaningful. The current ranked system is absurdly rewarding for full squads of high-ranked players, which leads to total stomps against solo players. Requiring solo players to find a squad before playing ranked would be a terrible design for player retention

👉 Please split ranked matchmaking between full squads and solo+duo teams. This is a highly competitive mode and playing solo against full squads that are conversating in Discord puts solo players in a huge disadvantage. If creating a solo-only queue isn’t possible due to a lack of players, at least separating full squads from solo/duo teams would make a big difference
👉 Please avoid matching players with a ranked difference of 5k+ in the same match. There's no one who will think -"oh i sucked with no break for 10 minutes but at least i just lost not much points so this if fine, i highly enjoy it!"

I don't think matchmaking should be split between random teams and pre-made teams but at least make it less punishing for teams that aren't pre-made and not very coordinated unlike the ones that are.

Light Sword+Dash is oppressive for a new player and annoying for midlevel play while being mediocre in high level play.

so what do we have currently?
its left click doing 74 (fine) right click damage being 140 with AOE (issue). sledge was changed to not multhit with its heavy attack for a reason do the same for this.
effective range of this increases by a lot when combining dash+ sword alt/right click, 6m 7m to something like 11m-12m although light becomes a human bullet. so he is vulnerable to mines and being shot while coming at a target.

this range increase makes so sword achieves slightly better range of effectiveness off the double barrel with the disadvantages of positioning and not able to interact with stuff if they don't get close (activating mines, damaging props and other stuff in the map), also being line of sight exposed when attacking to gunfire and gadgets

Assuming a light player uses dash +sword or dash + double barrel with both having vanish bomb...

So sword can do (140+40) (180) to oneshot light from 11-12m while double barrel two shots them in 10 m and needs to be at 4m-5m to oneshot them

So sword can (140+140) (280) to two shot medium with 11-12m while double barrel needs 6-7m to two shot them (light can also 140+40+74 for similar two shot)

So sword can (140+40)+(140+40) (360) to two shot a heavy with 11-12m while double barrel needs 4-5m to two shot them...

main differences important to point out double barrel has to reload sword does not, sword is forced to use dash to engage while double barrel can decide depending on situation. sword has AOE double barrel does not.

drop its alt fire damage to 120 and reduce AOE. about the AOE If the secondary would only hit in a straight line, that would be enough of a nerf for it. I'm OK with the range and all, but if your going for a Lunge, you shouldn't be able to draw massive circles to hit left and right of your corridor. Also lag and bad server tick rate benefit melee more then guns in general

The Eternal Problems with Light’s Sword and Medium’s Dual Blades:

SWORD:

  • Its Right Click deals 140 damage, more than a mine, grenade, or RPG, and can be spammed.
  • And Dash + Right Click is just MEGA OP, granting excessive mobility.

DUAL BLADES:

  • The Deflect ability is absurdly OP, reflecting 100% of damage while also blocking 90% of direct and 70% of indirect damage. With 250HP, this can be abused indefinitely.
  • However, despite lacking mobility, jump pads and ziplines aren’t the solution, and the mini-dash on melee hit mechanic is an overpowered mechanic that should be removed.

THE SOLUTION?
The most logical fix is to swap their class weapons:

  • Make Sword a Medium weapon
  • Make Dual Blades a Light weapon

DUAL BLADES in Light Class:

  • Deflect abuse is reduced since 150HP means you’ll die quickly if overused. The ability still needs rebalancing because it's too OP, but just switching to Light Class already solves most of the problem.
  • Mobility issues are fixed with Light’s Dash, eliminating the need for OP mechanics like mini-dash on melee hit.

SWORD in Medium Class:

  • 140-damage spam is still a problem, but less abuseable due to reduced mobility. The damage should still be nerfed (it's basically a perma-RPG from Season 2), but this is a step in the right direction.
  • Mobility abuse is addressed, limiting spam potential. The Right Click dash could be slightly extended to fit Medium Class, but overall, Sword would finally stop being OP.

This change isn’t just about balance, it makes visual sense, too. Light should wield small dual swords, while Medium should use a large sword.

Why Embark Needs to Act Now:
Ignoring these issues means losing players. Catering to 4% who abuse imbalance at the cost of 96% who quit is suicidal for the game’s longevity. With Season 8’s competitive mode on the horizon, Embark will face a harsh reality check if they don’t act now. The Finals is an amazing game with unique mechanics, but its poor balance is driving players away.

Sword is perfectly balanced and healthy. It’s strong in enclosed areas because it’s a fucking melee weapon on the lowest HP class in the game, so it literally has to be or it would be unusably bad even in close quarters.

  • Lunge doing 138+ is mandatory to be viable. <138 = Breakpoints are garbage.
  • Quick Melee comboing is mandatory to be viable. No QM comboing = Breakpoints are garbage.
  • Dash-lunge synergy is mandatory to be viable. No synergy = Bad even in closer ranges.
  • Multihit is mandatory to be viable. No multihit = Unusable if more than 1 enemy exists.
  • Lingering flicks are mandatory to be viable. No flicks = Can only go straight = Over-predictable = Useless, especially vs ranged hitscan.

Burst shotguns still shit on Sword even in melee range. In return Sword is literal trash in open areas. And this is a game where you can destroy nearly any part of the map.

People refusing to do any of the many counters in the game is entirely their own fault. This isn’t specific to Sword either. Same goes for something like short-range guns versus long-range guns in short-range fights and long-range fights, one side will always have to do something or play differently to make up for the inherent disadvantage.

There are playstyle and equipment counters to every single thing in the game. Sword or not, every situation will not always be an even 50-50 odds of winning, that’s stupid. Sometimes you’ll be advantaged and it’ll force enemies to play around that, and sometimes, the enemies will be advantaged and force you to play around that.

Embark ruined all the practice dagger players put in, just to make the trash weapon more unplayable because someone said:

Team death match spawns are absolutely horrible, and the new maps are not enjoyable to play on:
Areas featuring tons of open spaces, or tons of verticality are extremely easy to abuse when teams do not spawn even remotely close together. When you're doing it, it feels great, when it's happening to you, it's horrible. Not an enjoyable experience.

Light's Pistol being extremely spamable is cool, but the ability to hit shots at range is incredibly upsetting, you probably won't kill anyone consistently, but you can plink people indefinitely and keep them low. Due to its low recoil (which is fine), it successfully oppresses people at way longer ranges than is expected. I propose giving it the same treatment as the Heavy's Shak 50, and using two bullets that eventually split, making it less effective at longer ranges without nerfing the overall visibility of the weapon.

I also recommend removing the half second of spawn invulnerablity from Defibs. You already get a ton of information while you're in third person, and functionally being a wall for a few rounds can negatively impact other players that have already killed someone. In the same breath, do not count additional deaths for players that haven't even been able to heal to full. People that jump into a room to revive, then die, won't go away, but punishing players that are only guilty of dying is not fair to them. Would also recommend not counting the revive at all for them unless the other player gets a kill, heals a substantial amount, or after a reasonable time.

Glitch grenades should have a SLIGHTLY larger radius, and either explode on impact with anything, or have a shorter fuse time after impact.

The time before being able to shoot, melee, or interact after dash should be lengthened substantially. There's no reason that people should be getting kills because they fling themselves through you, this style of play is not fun to fight against.

The recent invis, 1887, and Sa12 nerfs were unwarranted. Thx

Swords should be tweaked so that DMG is based on the initial momentum of the heavy attack. So that towards the end of the animation it does less damage, movement speed should also slow down after heavy swing for a short duration. It feels very forgiving to miss and then lightly tap someone at the end of the animation and do full heavy DMG.

World Tour is way too grindy for how long the seasons are. On average, a player would need to play at least 90 minutes of only WT every day in order to reach Emerald 1. Even longer if you solo queue and don't typically have a squad to play with on a regular basis.

I think that Embark should either experiment with having longer seasons, or giving players more ways to earn Win Points in World Tour to make the game mode less of a grind. I feel like I have to sacrifice playing other game modes solely to focus on WT in order to make it to Emerald. It's the one thing about this game I really don't like, although I love playing WT so it's not SO BAD.

Also, random other thing I'd love to see in this game is more fun, wacky mascots. Like, Imagine if each team name had a fun wacky mascot in addition to a logo to accompany them. I love how this game takes inspiration from sports so stuff like mascots would be awesome in my opinion. Think of the cosmetics! \

World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.

Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20

so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf

Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)

Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

If you have any better suggestion about any of the changes I brought up id love to hear them 🙂

it’s just too much to deal with playing with weapons that maybe good on paper but not fun to use like 93r and the new light AR.
Ranked players may take advantage of high damage weapons but we play for fun not to sweat and win.

Make 93r have more fire rate like reducing the time between bursts,make it shoot 5 bullets and make them incendiary and name the gun spitfire which makes more sense.

The new light AR needs reduced recoil.

The ks23 needs slightly higher projectile speed as even in mid range u have to lead your shots and it looks like it should hit but doesn’t and bullet deviation makes it worse.
It needs wall penetration and headshot 1.2x to make it truly unique and stand out.

Light breach charge needs to stack damage atleast close to what it was in season1

the 93R is based off of the Beretta 93R (if you couldn't guess from the name, lol). It's a 3 round burst pistol chambered in 9x19mm. giving it a 5 round burst would ruin the likeness it has to the real life counterpart. I think a better solution would be to give the 93R a slight damage buff to make hitting the full burst meatier and more impactful or to shorten the time between bursts, giving it a mildly better ttk.

(Fun Fact: the Beretta 93R was also featured in Modern Warfare 2019 as the Renetti, just missing the foregrip and adding the optional buttstock as a stock attachment. it was an absolute monster in MW2019, I hope Embark listen and make it even half as good as it was in that game.)

They have nearly zero line of sight (base on human eyes resolve); 2 of my teammate question the same thing. None of them run tracking dart. We are in the jungle dense area in Monaco and get shot at from guys on top of building half the map away. How do they even know when spawned there right with in first second? It happens twice so its no random thing.

Hey! I've been playing the finals for awhile, and there is one weapon this season I have been having some complaints with.

The dual blades this season have been feeling a lot more "repressing" then other seasons. And I feel like the reason is because it is essentially a weapon that shuts down all ballistic weapons.

I say this because if a medium is using dual blades, as long as they hold down the aim key and look at you, you can't do anything to fight against it if you aren't running and ballistic weapons, and to counteract this you either have to swap weapons entirely to the CL, grenade launched, Bow and arrow, or any non ballistic weapons or have someone else with you which most times is unlikely to occur.

Now, the ballistic shield is similar as well, but you can still fight back if you don't have a projectile weapon or teammate by shooting the feet, however the dual blades block the ENTIRE body and also reflect the bullets back at the opponent.

I feel like there shouldn't be a damage nerf but more so a change in exactly where the dual blades will reflect bullets. Maybe make it so that the legs and feet are shootable (or if your up for it include the head) so that way people still have at least some way of fighting back. That way the larger portion of the body is blocked while also allowing both parties to have an equal chance at winning.

The reason I'm saying this is because across multiple matches I have meet contestants that do nothing but hold down the aim key and run at the opponents, leading to them not being able to do nothing and are stuck running around. Leading to an overall unfun and frustrating experience.

  • SLIGHTLY reduce first magazine’s recoil strength on ARN first mag recoil pattern
  • Make ARN reload intuitive (fast swap between mags on single reload press, double press reload for full mag reload)

I only really have 2 things for this season that seem out of balance.

  1. Sword/dash needs some adjustment or just bring sword damage down to 120 from 140 (biggest Impact is 1 melee for full hp medium and don't get OHK after defib) damage nerf will also leave other dash related stuff untouched to not completely bomb it. I know some people also say this changes heavy ttk however I don't see it as much of a problem since vast majority of swords go for the 3x lunge to kill H anyway, which this wouldn't change.

  2. Pike needs a ROF reduction and a MAG reduction. At the moment ONE mag has enough bullets to kill 2 mediums and bring a third to 50hp with only body shots. I don't think damage can be touched since anything below 50 will completely nuke this as it has previously. ROF will slightly fix this as you will still do same damage but you might actually get a chance to kill them before you get body shot to hell from 50+m away.

Otherwise very happy with this season and having heaps of fun!

I feel like all the problems this game has would be gone if you just removed light from the game, is just an unhealthy class that flip-flops between "God mode pub stomper", to "completely useless, borderline trolling" depending on who is playing, no other class has this problem to this degree and this game will never be good enough for your average person if light continues to be in this state.

Look at Fortnite, the skill ceiling for building became ridiculously high, new players stopped coming in, they couldn't compete without training building for hours and hours, epic fixed this by adding zero build temporarily then permanently after.

I’ve read through a lot of the feedback on here and have been playing since season 1.

Is there any merit to discussing the health regen timers for the classes? They used to be even at 10 seconds a piece. I’m not sure if I got the times exactly right but it really does feel a bit oppressive in this high paced game when you get into a 1v1 with a light and both of you retreat to fight another day except they hunt you because they know their health will basically be back instantly while any other class has to cower in fear hoping they are facing the right direction. I know it may have been a pacing change but to me the regens feel a bit out of whack at the moment. All classes at 10 seconds is likely not the answer but the class with the highest DPS shouldn’t be just roam the map with minimal punishment for taking a couple bullets. Every other class is at a huge disadvantage while they wait for their health regen while the light can continually work away at it.

Can we fix how much we gain/lose in ranked based on our seeding? If I am 2nd seed and I come 3rd I gain and if I come 4th I lose 10-200 depending. But if I am 8th seed and I come 7/8th I lose 900? If I am 6th seed and come 7/8th I also lose 900? We just shouldn't be losing so much, like yeah we got first rounded but we are the worst team in the tournament.

Also if I am 7/8th seed and I come 3rd in the tournament. I gain less than what I would lose if I came last?

Suicides in TDM should count towards enemy team score. There has been a strategy where enemies simply will fall off map or explode themselves to prevent to giving points, which is cheesy as hell and it kinda feels like bad manners.

dont think the sword needs any damage profile changes. The whole point of defib being like this is to prevent people from reviving carelessly. Youre also forgetting the basic combos for sword. One more qm and the medium is dead again with the 120 nerf. Its effectively the same (its different for the combo on lights because lights can actually move away in time with their own dash or simply utilize one shot combos that have nearly the same or 0 ttk in the case of db). I dont think advocating for a nerf with its sole reason being a lower skill ceiling is convincing. A simpler fix would be to simply separate the movement of dash and lunge so you cant combine it (it will still be usable in sequence i suspect). Also to lower dash charges to 2 but increase the regen rate to prevent dash spamming during combat which can overly reward players who lunge carelessly. The regen rate increase should still retain the general mobility of light.

The fact of it adding the extra melee was exactly my point - i even said this in my comment haha. You believe the QM wont make a difference where i think it will make more of a difference than you think, either of us might be wrong or both but its a start and theres nothing that will make everyone happy - my other point about only touching sword though means you only impact sword and not other light builds that use dash. Not to mentionits probably quickest and simplest thing to change from a technical perspective than untangling dash interactions. The combos itself are actually where i think the skill gets expressed with dash + anything but the damage is just too high of a reward at the moment for sword. Not sure where the skill ceiling comment came from as i dont even remember saying anything about skill requirements haha. Im not against tweaking dash but i feel what you suggest is probbably a bit overboard as an overhaul when typically the simplest solution is the best. The defib part i do kind of agree with but its also hard to say that for sure when it legit one taps you and still does multi-target damage to whoevers near. Light breach charge needs to break smaller holes that’s enough for lights to peek and shoot or go through and don’t leave large open holes like it already does and besides no one needs that level of destruction and it’s almost NEVER used!!!!!

I've always said that the biggest problem in this game is the light, it's the stupidest and most toxic class ever created in a video game. And with this I'm not saying that it's not fun or useful, but as you say either you play them well or you're trolling. Most use lights for movement and easy kills and then actually make a fool of themselves, or in the right hands it's too powerful more than the other classes, plus it's a class too annoying it's worse than a mosquito.

Small quality of life thing, but pinging in this game could use a tweak. I understand the need to have my ping lock onto an objective marker if I'm looking close to it, but I very often am unable to ping an area or where I saw an enemy because my ping keeps locking to an objective that I'm really not even close to looking at, like 80 degrees off or more at times. Maybe lower the leniency of when that happens so pinging can be more consistent.

Add kusarigama for light,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage where blade hits not the chain,it’s skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction.

To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.

There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim

U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.

Either u can’t use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else it’s the most dull experience chasing player as a medium

The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.

Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.

This makes lights with dash op. Glitch trap is one of the bait gadgets in my opinion. When I was maining dagger in other seasons glitch traps were a problem that is easy to avoid when you know what are you doing. When ever i play medium and want to get glitch mine to counter swords it doesn't even has an meaning full impact. Other common use of it is just put in down on a statue to block insta defib and makes cloak players visible. Mid at best in my opinion. It just can be annoying sometimes.

The point of the clip was to show how forgiving sword is as a melee weapon, the fact you can lunge to a target with 10m+ of distance, while missing the majority of your attack, then being able to re-correct is what makes sword the lowest skill melee weapon in the game. Can you fix the eu severs, as i and many others i have been playing with have been struggling with the servers being horrible to play on have stutters and frequent lagging making the game not fun to play and just makes me want to quit. This mainly happens in wt but also in ranked leading to loses which just sucks when you can't do anything about it.

World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.

Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20

so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf

Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)

Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

Any fixes for the no sprint no shoot and constant sonar bug in the works ?

If you have any better suggestion about any of the changes I brought up id love to hear them 🙂

Update after patch 6.0 :
Still no stun gun. When claw do 5dmg, grab you and stun you, like the stun gun but it's still here and even buff this season. Nice. It's unfair. Claw + Hammer + Punch = Free Kill.

OH ! And I never see so many cheaters. S6 is from far, the most cheaters season since the beginning. Well normal. New seasons. New players and a lot of kids player who can't play by themself. Thanks cheat code and cronus.

For the game

  • Add "step" in the reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completly reset.
  • Increase the netcode/tickrate/servers. Getting kill at 3m far from a hammer/sword or behind a wall / door / cover is not ACCEPTABLE. Servers can't register your movements
  • Perma ban toxic players and cheaters
  • Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
  • Let us go in practice with friends
  • Delete low gravity event. It's not fun AT ALL and unfair for Light. Movement are cancel and they only got 150HP
  • Random skin and charm list for weapons/gadgets
  • We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad and didn't play during the round
  • Let us invite friends or join them in group even if we are not the group leader
  • Add the possibility to look at the profil/card of friends and recent players.
  • Dash is trash with your netcode. Servers can't register a dash behind a cover and you will die anyway
  • **Give us the possibility to customize rules in private match. Like "only M and Dual Blade", "only Light and SR84", "only marksman", "No heal, Light only and grenade only". You can imagine all you want and put it in private match for streamer and their community to make the game more fun **
  • Let us use our VR for XP weapons or other things (not from me but very interresting idea !)

** For balance **

  • CB01-Repeater is just stupidly strong and OP. Nerf this weapons fast before all the new/come back players leaves your game again and for ever. EDIT : Nevermind, it's already happening
  • CL40 buff was too much. Need to nerf it again. EDIT : AND YOU GIVE 1K$ by kill in WT for this !
  • Buff Vanish Bomb and make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
  • The Sword buff was not necessary in 5.8
  • Nerf Turret range.
  • The FAMAS nerf is useless in 5.8
  • Nerf proximity sensor range
  • Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR
  • Nerf Cerberus damage.
  • Nerf the range of the KS shotgun. You can put 100 dmg at 20m easy.
  • Nerf PIKE to 48 instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did in 5.8 with that.
  • LH1 nerf was to strong in 6.0. Buff it to 45 dmg.
  • Buff Light survability or DPS. Light should be the DPS class but the game is always around Medium and Heavy class
  • Nerf a bit Deagle damage or range
  • Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls or other.
  • Nerf the right clic sword + Dash on Light. You couldn't dash with your sword charged
  • Revive and Objectives score should add additional points in ranked
  • Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive more safety !

I've noticed a huge uptick in people aimbotting recently, but my feedback is more focused on the player reporting flow.

If a player leaves a match, it's really cumbersome to track down their account to block / report. It would be nice to have an easier way to report cheaters mid-match if needed.

For example, between respawns, if you could perform report / block functions on players, to take effect once the match concludes, that would help crack down on cheaters.

Please fix the cloaking mechanic because clearly there is something broken with it. There's this MASSIVE bug where the ability that is advertised as making you invisible doesn't make you invisible whatsoever, even while standing perfectly still, and there's this weird extremely loud humming sound when someone is invisible that just completely reveals their location. Please fix this soon, I want to be able to use the cloaking mechanic effectively.

You gotta tweak the sword for casual play, it is ridiculous. One weapon dictates your loadout, to counter it... every fucking time I have to adjust to one player, for the rest of the match, terrible design/balance. How long have people been telling you this?

Also Charge and slam, super weak pick now. it is sooo easy to dodge, with any class. If you don't want it to do damage, give damage reduction for the duration of it, would fit the class too.

Also, Powershift, new maps cool, old jank still there, you have done zero to fix spawn campign. At least give longer invulrenability at spawn, that breaks if you use something, or attack.

Also, add a map selection, or preferance. I don't wanna see Kyoto, I just leave instantly. One, this season the fps on it is unplayable for me, Two, it is almost always ALL Lights, I rather suck cow piss loli than play it at this point. Add map selection (for quick play), everybody wins, everybody will have more fun with your game, period.

New Las Vegas, to me it is like ok? To be totally honest, I liked the old one better, it feels way too open now, but new is till fun too, but I hope you add old one to the rotation too, I wanna have both.

On a positive note, new queue up songs smash, absolute bangers.

Also, I like that you did not go all in with new map in this season (I actually don't mind at all there is no new map, if we get redesigned Kyoto next season, I would be happy with that too), instead you went and put time into with overall improvement of everything, this and that. Game feels more polished, and there is less UI bugs, pop pour win.

EDIT; Regarding Kyoto, I think it needs more multifloor taller buildings, instead of swamp and open spots you shouldn't use.

i think cloak and vanish are most effective using misdirection, it almost never works in a vaccum. you gotta flank the enemy while your team keeps em busy. or throw something loud to the left when you're going right. or throw goo and make them guess if you're going around to the left or right while invis, etc. I have a lot of success with sword and vanish bomb in gold lobbies playing like that.

Would love to see some improvements in cashout and eventually ranked i feel like if you pull it in and hold it the money should gradually be given to you this will lessen the blow of 3rd parties and we can remove this plug meta its just a thought but i do feel like cashout needs something new its current system is meh imo

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf

Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)

Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

Any fixes for the no sprint no shoot and constant sonar bug in the works ?

If you have any better suggestion about any of the changes I brought up id love to hear them 🙂

The ks-23 needs 100% accuracy, any other buff is pointless

The ks-23 is the only direct hit projectile weapon that is not afforded the luxury of accuracy which is the main reason its suffering. In concept its great and i love the gun, but anyone who has played it for any significant ammount of time knows that its main point of frustration is its unrelieability. Because of the spread targets beyond 8 meters are a gamble to hit. The feature inplace to make it a skillful weapon is already the projectile, however this is ruined by the spread. You can predict your targets movement, lead your shot correctly but still miss because the game decided your slug goes left.

The only buff the ks needs to be good is accuracy. Buffs like range falloff or firerate wouldnt solve the underlying issue of it being frustrating to use beyond 8 meters, headshots without accuracy are pointless, damage is going to force winch ks back which was not very fun to die to. A bigger projectile would maybe work but decrease the guns skill expression.

Even with 100% accuracy the gun would bw far from op due to the small mag and bad ttk. However it would be a lot more fun and a lot less frustrating to use

Sword is perfectly balanced and healthy. It’s strong in enclosed areas because it’s a fucking melee weapon on the lowest HP class in the game, so it literally has to be or it would be unusably bad even in close quarters.

  • Lunge doing 138+ is mandatory to be viable. <138 = Breakpoints are garbage.
  • Quick Melee comboing is mandatory to be viable. No QM comboing = Breakpoints are garbage.
  • Dash-lunge synergy is mandatory to be viable. No synergy = Bad even in closer ranges.
  • Multihit is mandatory to be viable. No multihit = Unusable if more than 1 enemy exists.
  • Lingering flicks are mandatory to be viable. No flicks = Can only go straight = Over-predictable = Useless, especially vs ranged hitscan.

Burst shotguns still shit on Sword even in melee range. In return Sword is literal trash in open areas. And this is a game where you can destroy nearly any part of the map.

People refusing to do any of the many counters in the game is entirely their own fault. This isn’t specific to Sword either. Same goes for something like short-range guns versus long-range guns in short-range fights and long-range fights, one side will always have to do something or play differently to make up for the inherent disadvantage.

There are playstyle and equipment counters to every single thing in the game. Sword or not, every situation will not always be an even 50-50 odds of winning, that’s stupid. Sometimes you’ll be advantaged and it’ll force enemies to play around that, and sometimes, the enemies will be advantaged and force you to play around that.

The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.

Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.

Gonna say it again: If being invisible doesn't help me:

  • Hide from passing enemies (Not completely invisible when stand-still)
  • Approach head-on (Obvious distortion effect)
  • Execute a flank (Loud Obvious Warbling Noise)
    Then literally the only thing it's good for is avoiding a turret, but there are dozens of other items that can do the same thing just as easy, and odds are I'm going to get detected by a Motion Sensor or random Sonar Nade. I'm not asking for a crazy buff just make it feel rewarding to use, and maybe make the title: CLOAKING Device feel accurate.

If I wanted to feel slightly harder to see I would just change outfits.

The way your Pyro Mine works is honestly some of the stupidest design I've ever seen. It deals an inital burst of explosive damage and then sets the level geometry around it on fire -- except if the level geometry is destroyed by the initial explosion, no fire actually takes place. This means people can sit right on top of a Pyro Mine and not get set on fire.

I'm not sure if it's the same or a similar phenomenon, but I've also seen that if you use Explosive Mine + Pyro Mine or C4 + Pyro Mine in the training area, you can have the Pyro Mine explode but not spawn a fire at all. Which again, means no afterburn.

Why the fuck can't you just make it set people on fire directly?

I feel like the cash you extract from games should do something, should still do something, Anything at all, it would give an incentive to still try no matter what cause you will still make some cash at the end of the round, even if you dont win. the whole point of the game is to make money playing the finals but money is useless and you buy stuff with VR instead which is always a flat amount you get at the end no matter what, I guess is too late to rework the way you buy stuff but it would help with the whole "game show vibe" we are supposed to go for.

Idk if embarks actually reading any of this feedback but seriously how hard is it to make certain changes for this game? I don't want to play another game of Kyoto moving platforms let alone Kyoto at all but for some reason I'm led to believe that removing a variation of a map is too difficult for embark to do. Is my understanding of video game design so poor that I really don't understand how difficult of a change that is to implement? So many people are quick to call developers lazy but can we actually get an explanation on why things like changing the sword light damage is such a difficult thing to do? Every argument for this game revolves around lower your expectations because "embark just cant work on everything" but there are plenty of issues that seemingly could be finished within a week or even a days work. So that begs the question what about these things is truly just too difficult to accomplish or why is there nobody at embark willing to step up and say I'll be the one here to get it done. Because as much as I understand there's a small team working on this game when issues that a person could fix with minimal effort are ignored I wonder whether its a issue of the size of the team or the people on the team itself.
