I shouldnāt have to restart my game every 2 rounds to try and not get frame drop.

Can there please be a way to view multiple customizations on your character before buying them, it would be awsome to have a way to make sure cosmetics look good together before buying them.
As a defib main, i think defibs are in an ok spot. could definitely be stronger with how annoying the cl-40 is moving the trophy. and also i think its annoying when i rez my teammate doesnt have any bullets sometimes, makes me really sad. but us true and true defib players will ride out this season as embark keeps fighting the good fight. if theres one thing us defib players have in common, nothing is better than reviving your teammate and getting fresh waft of their musky unwashed mancocks, so we can power through season 4
what the CL 40????
Gotta fix the amount lost for ranked. If my game crashes or I get disconnected in any way not only will I be given a suspension but I will lose 1000+ RS because I disconnected on top of what I lose for losing the game once I do reconnect. I played a lot of games today, won about 4, lost 2 gained an overall profit of around 2000 RS, totaling about 34,000. I then qued into 1 game, my game then crashed, I reconnected with a minute left, we lost in last place, Lost 1,200, and then when i re-checked my RS amount it was about 1,200 even lower. So from 1 game because I disconnected from it, I lost 2,400 RS, I am now sitting lower then I was if I hadn't played at all, simply because of a crash. To say the least its very disheartening to have all my progress from hours and hours of really good playing to be wiped away due to (maybe a bug) or even an intended feature. Its also worth noting that this has happened to me before, just less amount loss (around 1,500 the time before, for the exact same reason) If this is a bug, any way to resolve the issue and get my RS back? If not, why make it this way, its not my fault I got dissconected, so why should I be punished so harshly? Overall, ranked this season Is a lot better of a system. But If stuff like this keeps happening I can't see myself going on the grind for Ruby if I can be set back a whole day by 1 game.

-You shouldnt be able to climb while charging the dagger, i try so often to backsab someone above me but instead of jumping and stabbing, it tries to climb and my charge gets canceled (VERY IMPORTANT THIS WAS NOT ABLE TO HAPPEN LAST SEASON SO I ASSUME YOU JUST FORGOTT TO PROGRAM IT RIGHT)
-Option to hold and tap backstab like with the throwing knifes
-Always being able to run as last season
-Add a visual indicator of when the backstab is charged

Season themed around fantasy/magic. Medieval castle map, wizards (maybe magic gadgets/specializations?), swords/crossbows, etc. I think it'd be great. And it's a VR game show, they could add anything!

Light often feels too squishy. If I'm in a team fight and it turns into a 1v1 against medium or heavy, it's very difficult to win that 1v1. If I've taken any damage before hand I can't really wait for the regen or else they could res, and even then I'm still starting that gunfight down 100 HP in comparison. Maybe a small buff to lights regen time or health could help solve some of these issues. I think the issue has been especially noticable recently with the cl40

Nerf the glitch mine, it disproportionately disadvantages lights. Lights HEAVILY depend on their abilities to survive and just negating that gets lights killed 10/10 times. The time it takes to find and destory the mine you're already dead with your 150 health.

Can shooting and gun skill be rewarded more in close quarters. It seems like close quarters (which is most important in this game seeing the positions of objectives) can be quickly over run by melee and gadgets. Thereās counters to being shot like swords that deflect bullets or wenching/charge n slam if youāre being shot but thereās not much a person can really do if theyāre guarding a cashout and a riot shield guy walks in the room for example. We need hard counters to melee and Iāve been suggesting one since season one. At bare minimum there should be push back if shot will using melee either that or when shot while running with melee it stops your run or something. I shouldnāt be able to continuously shoot as you sprint full speed towards me. Melee should be something for the most skillful players but in this game it seems like an escape route for ppl who canāt really aim or shoot to still get kills.
HI there will there be any performance patch? I did not play for few months I came back after the engine update and the finals is not playable anymore - 15-60 fps when explosions smokes ect 3-6fps constantly. I changed all my settings to lowest same thing, other games works perfectly fine only the finals.

Lobby 10/10 grenade launcher M spamming like turds who has 0 aim skill and still overrun the lobby. Charge n'slam, Stun Gun, CL-40 non-existent self-dmg and that cancerous Pike and your complaining in melee? Braindead take, range here is the strongest atm. Even Sword needs muscle memory and requires high reflexes but can be tracked unless your really close to it, or hammer need high ambushing gamesense to punish range players. Legit hard counters of melee is stun gun and goo grenade, period. It's called melee and range for a reason, and you should be punished accordingly
Why are there so many cheaters in the compitetive
with M & H melee you are handicapping yourself and ultimately your team for utility. because with melee you are relying on your gadgets/specialization in order to bring you closer to the fight or setting defenses up to hold your position, because you ride or die under your area of influence. The thing is, is that any sort of gadget or specialization that could be good for melee, can be better for ranged. H winch is good with the 50. cal and ks-23 to land a body shot followed by close ranged combat. Using sledgehammer with the winch is ok for picks, however it can be hard countered with L having a dash. these problems do not happen when you use any sort of gun. RPG was such a good damage booster that everyone ran it 24/7. now that RPG is balanced for ranged, melee doesn't have enough chip damage at times to rush the enemy before they kill you. dome shield was used a ton for H that with the recent nerfs to it, it kicked out any sort of use for H melee. Medium has movement utility to close the distance, but cant kill them fast enough when they are in range. buffing the melee weapons would make them a better melee heavy. So my proposition is to give Medium and Heavy a secondary. something that is not needed for ranged M & H, but something that melee users would be able to access to do chip damage/use in firefights. pyro in tf2 had a short-medium ranged secondary and that is what made them have value whenever they are not charging at you blindly. so maybe give H & M a M1911 or a Remington Elliot 4 shot pistol. it shouldn't kill every class with the entire clip, it should do like 65% of a M health bar. make it so that quick swapping to the secondary when your magazine is empty becomes very slow (there needs to be a punishment for trying to sustain more damage when you run out of bullets in the primary. otherwise it would still be good for ranged players like M.) also make it so that you only have a clip of ammo and it has to be regenerated like tracking dart.

replace medium cl40 with this long range explosive bow(with slight delay) cause medium with that much health(plus turret) shouldnāt spam explosive like that so with bow(with long range sight) u need good aim,itās long range and still good damage to be viable or rework cl40 to be sticky grenade with delay
Or just give these ideas to light class cause it has no explosive weapons

Some suggestions.
- footsteps need to always make noise
- Frag grenades need a noise or beep.
- model needs to do 110 damage, reduce range/ increase spread.
- CnS needs a delay, but if it succeeds the user gains damage reduction./
cannot be hit more than once with CnS. - dash melee light needs a rework or adjustment. no more backstabs from the face, no more 140 sword lights.
- revert APS nerf.
- Give Medium sonar grenade.
- MGL32 needs to explode on contact with an enemy.
- revert mesh shield nerf.
- revolver drastic hipfire buff, slight firing speed increase.
- revert AK bullet nerf.
- give AK and Fcar the Famas sight.
- dual swords buff 3rd strike damage, allow full movement speed while deflecting.
- fire damage needs a buff across the board.
- give glitch mines an extra 2m.
- give defibrillator an extra 10s cooldown.
- turret needs a turn speed increase, and to not stop shooting enemies until line of sight is broken. no more running around a turret and having it lose you.
- increase heal rate to 45, then remove heal beam stacking.
- dome shield can protect for 8 seconds.
- refine sledgehammer heavy attack to not linger after a missed strike.
- spear alt attack to be a bubble of damage around him that pulses and guarantees damage to enemies inside avoiding missing people next to him.
- KS23 reload speed increase/ allow headshots.
- goo gun alt fire to full auto/ megaburst of goo.
- drastic M60 hipfire buff.

you can't backstab from the face
Just because there are other things to be fixed doesnāt mean there isnāt an issue here. My entire point is about controlling the flow of the game where it matters most which is in and around cashout especially in those last crucial moments. Having one single thing that only one class can use is quite literally not a hard counter. Instead that would be a soft counter. Every class has something they can do to directly counter being shot at but thereās no universal direct counter to melee situations in close quarters. Most often the only option youāre left with is repositioning and approaching the fight from a new angle. Pyro grenades arenāt even as effective as they should be. I understand melee is melee but ultimately being shot should do something to someone running at you with a sledgehammer. Itās like if you choose to use a regular bullet shooting gun in this game when it comes to being caught in closer quarters you have to do everything everyone else does plus have superior movement with the exception of the few insanely fast ttk guns on light. Yes there are plenty of other issues like the CL40 being over tuned. I never felt the stun gun was that bad I almost always come out successful against it unless there are two lights. It seems we agree on the charge n slam tho. Everything you claim is skills of melee are just universal skills in FPS so idk what youāre talking about there. In short, my point still remains balancing as it is relates to the various weapon types needs to be looked at and not just in general but specifically how things are balanced within close quarters needs to be worked on because this game revolves around close quarters. Almost everything that happens at mid to long range is irrelevant due to revives and respawns the close quarters battles are what win games.

When you start firing your gun, the scope and aiming point don't match. This issue is more noticeable since the optics patch. I don't know if this is a maintenance issue or an unfixable bug, but it's been happening since beta, and it's irritating. Please fix it.

@last mirage i used to sell HWID spoofers and give support to people spoofing, the weakness is in your message, "hardware ID can be spoofed easily by people who know what they are doing"
most cheaters do not know what they're doing, i have firsthand experience with the amount of idiots being unable to spoof, and majority of cheats are just pre installed on computers in internet cafes in China, imagine the headache for business owners having their machines HWID banned.
your point abt phone numbers while true, it adds another layer for cheaters to bypass, making things more tedious and discouraging.
The sad truth is we can never stop cheaters, but plenty can be done to make it really hard.
Just leaving matches now when i see an excessive amount of CL40, just one is already enough to ruin a lobby, having 2 on every team is enough to drive a man mad.

i'm in I.T and hardware ID can be spoofed easily by people who know what they are doing. verification from phone numbers isn't a good way to solve the problem either since people can also just sign up for a temporary phone number websites to get over that hurdle. government id can be faked by using other peoples id. Overwatch did a system like this and there are still repeat cheaters on that game. The thing is that people who cheat repeatedly, don't care if they have to spend x amount of time or money to do such a thing, if they want to cheat, they are gonna cheat. slowing down the process to get into a game isn't a good enough deterrent from cheaters to not play the game. and sure you can catch out the clueless people who attempt to cheat, however its not gonna stop the people who make a living off of making cheats from this game, and people who are more knowledgeable in software on there own hardware. if we attempt to catch up to the standard of what's being done with every single game in terms of punishing cheaters it would only make the people who develop those prepackaged cheats previously in different games adapt very quickly. and when stuff like this becomes the standard in terms of working with cheats in every game, then the knowledge of spoofing hardware will become the standard for people who are looking to cheat. I agree with what you are saying for the most part and understand why it makes sense to do hardware ID. however it isn't the correct way to mitigate the overwhelming issue of the repeat offenders. it becomes a diminished return for the amount of time spent working on that feature in terms of fighting against cheaters. unless we start becoming unethical in terms of fighting cheaters, the ball is in their court and Embark can only do periodic ban waves.

Like the entire class is built around being an annoying prick. Lights are playing cod with their paper health and massive damage output while everyone else is playing a different game.
Like think about it. They have a tool that's soul purpose is to make you stand still while they get an easy frag.
The grappling hook's cool down allows them to constantly move massive distance away from attacks while jump pads, zip lines hell even the lights dash can't keep up with it in terms of spam-ability.
Lights have not just a specialisation but a super power in the form of cloak/invisibility and vanish bomb/Diet invisibility and it's only weakness that isn't on the light class itself is on the motion sensor which no heavy will bring when memes like the rocket launcher and protection tech exist. The only other counters for invis are thermal vision which is bugged and causes people to become completely invisible when standing infront of the skybox and the sonar grenade which is also a light special.
Then there's evasive dash which when used effectively means that relentless pursuit by a light holding any one of the light's high burst damage weapons like LH1, Bow, Throwing Knives, Sword, both of the shotguns.
Medium was mostly fine as it was and I don't think the solution in a team game where lights were playing cod was to do the same to Medium and Heavy
virtually ensuring that now it doesn't matter what happens in ranked mode a team that wants to 3rd party will win the engagement if they only use Deagles, Pike, and CL40 because they are very high burst damage weapons which will cause anyone that gets targeted by a team of them to fucking dissolve.

You sound like someone who's never really played Light. Else you would realize how difficult it is to play the objectives while not getting deleted in the blink of an eye, especially these days with the 3M CL40/Pike/Model/heal/defib meta.
I played quite a few QC rounds as Light recently (not even WT or Ranked...) and although I could make a mess of enemy teams at times by using the full extent of my loadout (V9S, flashbangs, stun gun, invis, dash), I often got insta-gibbed countless times. You just can't take damage as a Light. If you don't engage the enemy on your own terms, you die.
I have an easier time playing Medium, I can be as oppressive/hard to catch as a Light using dematerializer/pads/ziplines, except I have 100 more HP.

Im not the highest rank, Im not a comp player. As a casual player, the CL-40 is just absolutely atrocious to go against. Its not fun when most of my power shift games are nothing but the CL-40, Same with QC. Its not fun at all. By the time I react to the first explo from the cl40, I might as well just stop moving because the other 3 are already on their way and Im just gonna die. Skill issue, whatever, its actually mental. Another thing, the Sledgehammer for the Heavy. I understand that its meant to be a hard hit with the M2 but damn its insane being oneshot as a L/M

Iām forced to run APS in ranked but it only eats 3 nades form CL. Atleast it gives me a chance to actually react to the weapon before Iām insta dead.
Because people playing ranked are usually premade teams, and those people acknowledge that lights don't offer good team play, as they aren't good for much else apart from kills, so lights won't get picked. That doesn't stop them from being stupidly broken, having weapons that can melt heavies in 1 second is munted

this game used to be about teamplay and coordinated teamfights.
now we nerf mesh, healing, give the support class the best weapons in the game and just fuck up 3+ seasons of balancing towards class identities, while nerfing Light, a class that already struggled at higher elo and is now even worse.
GG embark please keep ruining every bit of depth in your game because bad casuals cant play together with their team, so we just remove everything that requires any bit of teamplay!

Hear me out about the sword. Itās fun and all but does not take long to be good with. In no way would i say itās a skillful weapon.
The lunge should be dropped to 100 damage. Since every sword main quick melees on lunges that will make it do itās normal 140 damage.

in my mind, the cl is a weapon that takes these roles and characteristics:
- defend the cashout from a long distance without harming/exposing yourself to the enemy
- when faced with a close quarters combat, there is a high chance you will lose because of self damage and the superior damage of other weapons
- destroy structures
in the state that it is now, you are rewarded for close quarter combat, and medium range combat, even at long range you can pester enemies so severely that they are forced to move away, the factors at play for this i think are: - damage at long range is too high, it should explode after travelling a certain distance, so that you can still protect the cashout, but not be at such ridiculous ranges to do so, this is THE mid range weapon
- self damage to yourself is too low, it should be something around 150%, you shouldn't be rewarded for blowing up your own feet and winning
- damage values itself are too high, a light with a close range weapon will simply lose in mid to close range combat no matter what, in 2 shots more or less, regardless of if they are well or poorly placed
even if you don't nerf it, please for the love of god reduce the visual clutter it generates, i can't even see who im fighting and my fps lag spikes constantly, especially against a team of 3 mediums with the cl
How am I supposed to get 5 elims from 40 meters with gadgets? Nothing goes right ever.

Please fix the optimization. Every time anything happens, fps drops by like a half, which makes the game so frustrating to play. This didn't happen before.

I have now 100 hours and can confidently say that something is wrong with the light class. I get killed 80% off the time by a light player with the dash and get sprayed with the M11. It is realy annoying and buffing light because they loss more games is no opting. You play light only when you want a high kill round so ignore the cashout and your team mates. The light class need to focus more on the recon and not on the damage dealer role. I know the most player are often light player roasting medium because they can now kill you while you are dashing and destroying your 20 k/d.

This is kind of unavoidable if you want a ranked system that actually places people in their skill group. Considering you have to match 8 teams together, itās not always going to be fair. So when your team is ranked the highest in the lobby by far, it makes sense you wonāt gain much from winning. It sucks but you canāt really do much about it

I know they can't type in chat but it sucks to see your teammates suffer in silence because of one teammate leaving, can midmatch joining be for tournament, because it sucks having a great 3 player team and slowly die because of bad connection or rage quitting, I know tournament is not supposed to feel like quick cash but still it'll at least give us a 3 player team and not give us a disadvantage, maybe bring back the underdog effect thingy. I want some sort of bonus or buff for when one/all of your teammate(s) leave midmatch.

How can it be fixed? I suggested it on another channel. This was my message:
The devs are saying that the buff to the CL 40 was because it wasn't fair for a medium to hit 100% all of his 4 grenades to kill a heavy.
But the solution was really an overkill. Damage increase. Radius of max damage 3.3 times as much, leading to an Area of max damage 10.9 times as much!
With that much of an area, aiming is easy, and can be done while jumping. But jumping to to avoid dying (1) doesn't work with a sphere of effect (which has become 35.9 times bigger) and (2) increases dispersion of the weapon countering the CL 40.
Also its almost forgotten that this weapon deals multidamage, hence if the fight happens in a tight place, 4 grenades are enough to obliterate or weaken any team.
This is why I don't understand at all this huge buff, and I think the devs can achieve the fairness their talking about, by:
- keeping the damage as it was.
- Increasing the amo to 5 instead of 4
- decreasing the radius to 19cm (avergae between 9 and 30)
- increasing reload time (natural consequence of having 5 grenades)
Rework dash and cloak to not be hard countered by anyone who can aim or has functioning eyes and ears. Light would be completely fine if its survivability wasnāt entirely tied to your opponent playing like shit.

However, the matchmaking has been broken since Season 2. In Season 3, I didn't play much ranked because it was TA, and I detest that game mode. I thought that during that season, meaning Season 3, you were working on the matchmaking to have something decent for Season 4, but I see that this issue continues from Season 2.
My matchups make no sense, neither in terms of rank nor in terms of the dedication to the game, which is evident when I compare my number of kills and revives with those of my teammates. And when I look at the other teams, they are with the people who should be matched with me, but instead, I'm playing against them.
I'm saying all this from the perspective of someone who plays solo, without a team. When can we expect improvements in matchmaking for solo players? Seriously, we've been like this since Season 2, it's very frustrating.
Note: I've even had people on my team who said in chat that they were playing ranked for "fun" in the sense of playing "quick play." This is a bad joke.
Note 2: I don't mind if it takes longer to find a game as long as it improves the current experience. I'd rather wait more than 2 minutes or however long it takes than wait 10 seconds and end up with a team with zero skill.
Note 3: Do not use the excuse of not changing the matchmaking in the middle of a season when you make buffs and nerfs to weapons, gadgets, etc., which also affect the game in the middle of the season. You have had enough time to do something about it.

A few ideas:
Dash speed needs to be buffed for it to be viable in higher elo.
Qol change for dash would be that you keep your momentum.
Increased throw speed for good nade/portal/vanish.
increased glitch duration and maybe double duration on objectives like mines/turrets.(helps lower elo lights where more turrets are present)
I would also be great if glitch disables meds wallhacks and does an glitch effect on the other side.
all these changes would help light without making the class easy to play or op

When playing on PC, I notice significant frame drops when particles fall from the ceiling after an explosion. Given that a lot of important events tend to take place after explosions, it would really be nice to have those extra frames.
I play on all around low settings with Nvidia DLSS set to Ultra performance. Fullscreen is enabled at a resolution of 1280x720. I play on a Lenovo Legion laptop with an RTX 3050ti graphics card.

I have a first feedback after a full week of SEASON 4.
I TBH I feel too much tryharding around than before in S3, but it may be a feeling. The end of Season 3 felt more fun IMO.
- I report a certain toxicity in Ranked-Cashout in the chat
- OPTIMISATION the game is still not optimised and absolutely TOO heavy on the CPU: I am now running the i7-6700k pushed at 4,6GHZ and I think that a *free game * should check to lowspecs PC more.
Also I basically can change the quality parameters (internal, rendering engine) but in the end the game fill the CPU and GPU at a 95-99% that feels fake or adaptive weight. This is a sign of absence of optimisation. Also, playing at 720p doesn't help. - the Class balancement is somewhat ok but rough, with the H still too much OP and insensitive to HEADSHOTS š like if they have some fat into the head as a barrier...
- the last problem is the WEAPON BALANCEMENT and it's the bigger. I don't know if Embark produced other FPS before, but there are oddities like the L'UZIs that are unexpectly good at a range, and overall all the automatic "noob" rifles like the AKM and FCAR are simply too precise.
The onliest weapon that's still incredibly bad is the L "sniper rifle": low damage, no headshot to M and H, 3 or more body hit to kill (M / L).
If you for some reason want to play some sniping and not a melee approach, you're losing basically every 1 to 1 duel indoor. It fels so bad as other games had a correct risk/reward approach. - The new wap is bad, poor event and also heavier to load
- ...it causes less matches in KYOTO which is the top location, and where the most fun matches happened, for me.

Kyoto was a UE5 portfolio piece that accidentally made it into the game as a map. Please optimize it or get rid of it. It also plays the worst out of any map in pretty much every gamemode, especially powershift. Theres a reason why the platform spawns on solid ground in literally every other map. Also the slowing water adds literally nothing except making the marshy part of the map terrible to play.

I'm gonna reapeat the fact that Pyke / Deagles / Cl40 are the most oppressive weapons in the game, but there is a few takes I wanna go out of my system :
-Up a tiny little bit cloak and dash : cloak because it's basically bad on every point, everyone hear's you from miles away, if you move just a little bit, you can be sure there is some kind of an arrow pointing your head, it's actually insane. And dash, just a tini-tiny less couldown so it can be considered as "not bad"
-Do not up Xp 54, this weapon as been everywhere in the arena since s1 played by metaslaves crying like babies when L has been nerf. This weapon needs to be put aside, just for a season, for now, it's the case and I'm very happy about it. You know what ? I would be very happy to see it nerf to the f ground.
-H should have an overhole protection/utility gadget and spec buff (mesh, dome and more) and should get a hard nerf on charge dmg, it's crazy the number of time I see H lose their 1v1, press charge and win it anyway they have been outplayed or not.
-Defib, pls, do something about it... playing a final against MMM is so stupid. You kill 2, the last sprint on the token, everyone get revive. Having to kill them 6 times for a wipe is a crazy thing to do
-And do something about the toxicity in ranked / world tour (how can you be toxic in world tour ? that's the question), I'm tired to see countless insults about my mom's sexuality when I missplay for the first time in the game... tf is wrong with y'all ppl ?
50 headshots @ 50+ meters?(Engimo S2 Quest) Bitch with my GFX settings the models are barely visible grain clutter at 50 meters. Been grinding maybe 6 hours now with 12/50 done. Yasugiru desho, maybe that's a bit too much? 20 would be a real task for most players, but 50 is a heroic display of a true sniper player. It gets bit tiresome ruining so many hours worth of games for people. In normal play, without questing I'd not reach that number even in a year.

Defib would be fine if medium didn't currently do more damage than light. A medium will get back up and immediately chunk you for 128 w/ the model which is absolutely horrid to fight against. If you want dps as medium, they should make a special for it like a-wall from titanfall or something. The fact you can have the best of both worlds while sacrificing nothing is ridiculous, and goes against how the other 2 classes are designed. Also the fact you can triple stack M and still account for everyone's weaknesses is a massive red flag. Triple L lacks survivability and has dps. Triple H lacks mobility and has survivability. Triple M lacks.... what exactly? Not dps, not survivability, and not mobility.
(also the fact the support class only has 2 support abilities is lame, pls more support gadgets embark. )

Can we please replace the "Headshot 50 opponents from a distance of 50 meters or more" contract? Especially with the nerf to the SR84, this contract is beyond painful to do. It also promotes some awful gameplay. This game isn't meant to be played 50m+ out. It encourages players not to play the objective and make for an all-around poor experience for everyone.

So yeah, most of the feedback recently has been about PIKE, CL-40 and mesh shield being bad now.
Aside from that, as a medium main, triple medium teams are totally a problem, mainly because of triple healgun, triple turrets or triple defibs (ignoring triple CL-40). Defib is definitely too strong and could probably use some work like, the cooldown being shared to all defib users on the team. Anyway, it needs work for sure.
And here we thought S3 was bad for catering to Lights...

I think these would be fine changes. My biggest concern is throwing it back in the trash where it was. I donāt want the game going towards a AR only sweatfest. The CL, MGL, and Flamethrower all need to stay relevant to keep the game fun.
I think the defib being a mandatory loadout is more annoying than anything in the game currently. They are big talk when it comes to saying the RPG shouldnāt be in every loadout. But when the defib is mandatory in every loadout, and being enforced by their players on other players, itās okay.

Their movement also has certain upsides as mediums can be abused by enemies or destroyed, while lights are easier to use at a moments notice
And dont forget that light by itself also has a higher movment speed and a smaller hitbox

The movement speed difference is negligible, somewhere in the realm of 6% i believe? And hitbox size does not matter much in high skill fights. The bottom line is pike and model do way, waaaaay too much damage out of the box. Triple defib healgun is actually somewhat manageable when they're not shitting out 500 dps each simultaneously. If the medium ARs were buffed to be in line with model and pike, and medium became a dps oriented class, the game would be fucking miserable. We saw what FCAR meta did the game, we really don't need that again. A mildly sweaty MMM stack is pretty much completely uncontestable without laser focus or just also going MMM. In what game do you get your shit kicked in instantly for diving the support class? oh yeah, none of them besides THE FINALS.

Lights is a balancing failure and the foundation of it made it inevitable for the class to be either too weak or overpowered and never in the middle ground.

I just ran into a team on fortune stadium that was continuously gooing the jump pads to zone 6.. Gotta fix that. Shouldn't be able to put goo on top of a jump pad. Every where else it bounces off. Game breaking. They were just sitting back with long range weapons and grenades and we couldnt even get over to them to do anything because we had close range weapons'.

Currently I am ranked gold 3 playing with a duo ranked gold 4. Our last game we were just place in a trio diamond team lobby, with the rest of the teams being gold and 1 plat. I don't remember this being a issue and season 2 as bad and don't think it was suppose to be part of ranked. Keep in mind as well we got minus 346 points.

I think the defib does too much to reward playing poorly. Thereās too many times we will outposition a team, get a kill or two, and before we can even move in to set up on a trophy they have already defibbed and are combat ready again. Down in the low ranks you can see how much milage they get out of it because they will blindly rush to get a defib while getting shot down and die as the defib is popping up.
To me it feels like they kept nerfing heavy because it was too effective. But the reason it was too effective was because it got a second life and 500 health from having the medium leash.

What an absolutely insane take. Did the Stun Gun instakilling melee players slip your mind? Or asking your Heavy to start destroying their cover? Or, and this is gonna sound crazy, using the massive range advantage you have by virtue of taking a gun to a knife fight? And Riot Shield?? Please hook me up with what you're smoking. Riot Shield is a D-tier weapon at best. What if you have to hold it on the person you're reviving for 1/2 or 3/5 normal Rev time but they come back with full ammo, full hp?

It cannot be that these weapons work well for medium and long distances, and of course, that's normal for short distances.
They have no recoil (so you can shoot like a chimpanzee, running and jumping), they are fast, and they have a brutal damage range for distances that are not suitable for these weapons.

However, we think, and there are others who have considered this idea as well within the community, that new community made items should be given the chance to be official and in-game.
This would not be the first time that such a thing exists in the world of gaming. Warframe's 'TennoGen' is one of the best examples of having the community be involved in the creative process. This engagement's potential is virtually limitless and invaluable for the game's longevity and community. It can be further sustained by giving the creator(s) a chance to be awarded through a variety of ways, in combination or merely by themselves:
(a) recognition,
(b) in-game or IRL payment,
(c) but most importantly a free (perhaps personalised) version of the very same item that will be immortalised in the world of TF.

thank you, as a heavy melee main, the updates to mesh shields and RPG made it harder to secure kills from afar, and tend to make heavy have to hide in the shadows in order to defend the cashbox. any sort of specialization/gadget that can be good for melee heavy, can be better for ranged heavy. same thing goes for medium as well. If they found a way to make melee heavy and medium have a way to do damage from afar without it being useful for ranged players then it would balance things out.

there are two solutions i could see working:

being able to shoot the hologram and if they take a certain amount of damage, they are stopped
its still far from ideal, as its still a free 2v1 (because you need to choose between shooting the medium or the hologram) but it allows you to prevent a free revive from a teammate that comes along 10 seconds later/during team fights -
slowing the medium to 0% during charging and making the charge up last ~3 seconds
(that is very harsh, so in return the person would come back as revived, so instantly and at 100% hp/ammo)

@smoky gust easy fix. Just use the defibs as the mediums standard revive animation. Keep the noise and stuff so you have an audio queue for when a medium is reviving. Your second solution is almost identical to mine. The main thing Iām trying to fix is having it be mandatory. That way we can see more variety in the medium builds.
Aye real shit though we do need to buff the dual blades. give em a lunge or something man, they're god awful as it stands right now. it's not a matter if you'll die but when. all you do with them is prolong the inventible death in using them. i'd say give them a stamina bar, accuracy more dependent on where your cursor is, and a heavy lunge out of block or charged up from holding left click.

The battle pass is so fuckin lame this season, I couldnāt care less about unlocking anything in it
well yes but the thing is with your concerns is that it all depends on the cashout having any sort of cover/room to begin with. some maps like the variation of the destroyed church in Monaco, the desert variation of Las Vegas, and Kyoto having limited building for cover are painful for melee heavys to fight on because of how open it is. meanwhile for maps like standard monaco and skyway stadium are perfect for melee players fighting in the map because of how nearly all the cashouts are in tight buildings. melee and ranged players need to have aspects to cover there own weaknesses in terms of the cashout. ranged heavy needs more destruction, and melee heavy needs more ranged damage options. just so that those gadgets can cover the weaknesses of players attacking/defending from all other aspects of terrain. for medium its almost the same story for melee weapons you can never do enough damage up close that by the time you try to charge at someone with melee you get mowed down before you even get halfway through their health. however for ranged you at least have dematerializer to be able to peek into buildings. so its pretty obvious for why medium doesn't use riot shield/dual blades more often. we need to fix both of these aspect for those different playstyles otherwise. the game with either be ranged sided or melee sided, either of which is not fun for everyone involved. and the reason why people respond to others ideas is to tweak/rework those ideas to try and make them better. the people who scream nerf/buff X aren't gonna explain the issues fully of why X isn't good/too OP. we humans are bias, and its best to weed out those bias to make the game fun for all.

Remove Kyoto from the map pool. Nothing about playing on it is fun. It's too big, you spawn too far away from anything, the destructables never despawn so you get perf issues on any of the moving platform variants, and the terrain quickly becomes untraversable. It's pretty, but it's easily the worst map in the game.

Getting the dreaded Error Code TFLA0028, no longer able to launch the game. Even tried re-installing. Such a shame as it was the only game I play.
I would agree with that except for the fact that we already have a passive of sorts in the lights. They heal 3 seconds earlier than the other classes. I think passives like that could bring out the identity of the classes even more and help new players decide what they want to play. Having the special revive gives the medium the support identity that embark seems to want them to have. Give the heavies a passive like resistance to explosives or CC and you have a pretty well rounded roster. All it takes is a little text blurb when making a new contestant to get the passives in the head of the new player.
This on top of opening up a slot for mediums to express themselves more when building a loadout. Effectively, the medium only has two gadget slots in their current state. I think making it a specialization is fine, too.
And we do have an animation for the defib revive already. Just having them stand there and do the charge and press with the paddles could be the passive revive animation for mediums.
Finally get cash out back for ranked and now Iām too afraid to start a ranked match in fear of getting put on Kyoto and getting penalized for quitting after ridiculous lag. Is it such a hard thing to take it off the map pool until things get fixed?

Light:
The Light is decent but not great in its current state. Its main role focuses on securing kills rather than supporting the team. While the glitch and sonar provide some utility, they feel like the only viable option in team-based play. The Gateway isnāt as viable due to its short duration, and the tracking dart feels too situational. As a result, Lights end up focusing more on themselves, especially when queuing solo, with little incentive for teamwork. Regarding the special abilities, two out of the three are functional, but invisibility has become far less effective. Itās too visible and the activation sound is way too loud, making it easy to predict. A potential fix would be to mute the ability entirely, which would improve its effectiveness by making it less predictable and more valuable.
Medium:
The Medium is currently overpowered. It excels at nearly everything, which makes it too versatile. It has access to well-balanced assault rifles, a strong no-aim weapon like the CL-40, a powerful DMR, and an exceptional shotgun. These weapons cover all situations, and the only real weakness of the Medium classādestructionāis somewhat mitigated by the dematerializer. The classās versatility makes it too dominant, in my opinion. Additionally, the defibrillator is in need of a significant nerf, especially for in-combat use. Itās unreasonable that three Mediums can continuously revive and heal each other with minimal downtime. The recent CL-40 buff also established one weak point in form of the APS (the only counter), which gets destroyed way too quickly.
Heavy:
The Heavy is the most balanced of the three. It has a more interesting specialization when it comes to weapon choice, with non-aiming weapons like the flamethrower and sledge being the most effective. The RPG nerf has helped balance the class further. Overall, I find the Heavy to be in a good place, with clear strengths and weaknesses that feel fair in most situations.

I mean yes dome and mesh shield was good for squad potential however whatever is good for melee, tends to be better with ranged. right now for ranged players dome is nearly perfectly balanced just the way it is (mesh not so.) to use it with melee isn't good at all to use. so if heavy players benefit from having defenses overall, then lets try to make melee heavy have some ranged damage gadgets that would be pointless for primary ranged weapons. I also hope that they focus on the RPG to do more destruction than damage, since ranged players need a way to get into a tight cashout buildings without entering the effective area of melee players holding out. I semi agree about winch. winch should just yoink dome shields away from the enemy team and stun specialization for 2 seconds whenever people get grabbed. however when you do get grabbed you can still use the primary while getting grabbed. when that happens then the 15m distant feels justified. because there is a way to avoid/counter the punishment from winch heavy currently, is just by specialization alone for light and heavys getting grabbed. with these changes it doesn't make the winch claw this "stun gun 2.0" in terms of balancing for ranged players fighting the winch but makes it fair for people who steal your teammates out from under you. I don't play enough melee medium to fully understand the hardships of using it competitively. however I believe you when you say medium blades should just be buffed a bit.

You clearly weren't here in previous seasons, where invis cloak drove mad half the playerbase. Now its in a decent spot; it isn't op and it still provides decent utility and serves its purpose.

There are so much lights out there who frag way less then most mediums or heavies even in terms of quality instead of quantity. This class is just not versatile enough in my opinion. It got better but itās still too strict.

GAME BREAKING BUG
Pyrogrenade has a bug where if you hit the Riot Shield with it, the Riot Shield will be set on fire.
This issue has existed since the Riot Shield was released and has only been getting worse. In season 3 there were 2 ways to counter it: get healed and have someone throw smoke at you.
Now that healing has been reduced, the healing beam can overheat while trying to save the Riot Shield resulting in a free kill for the enemy, wasted time for the Healing Beam User, and a dead Riot Shield.
I was told to make it clear that I DO NOT THINK YOU SHOULD REVERT THE HEALING CHANGE, I think you should finally fix the bug youāve ignored for the last year.
With how the bug works, Riot Shield cannot switch off their weapon to save themself, if they get revived fast enough they will continue burning to death, the bug can be applied to DEAD Riot Shields making their statues ON FIRE and then subsequently setting the Riot Shield on fire anyway after being revived.
All of these instances Iām referring to arenāt free ticks of fire damage, it is an active flame stuck to your model that WILL KILL YOU.
Please stop ignoring Riot Shield. This is why everyone hates it.
Also make the Shield active when interacting. It was a genuinely amazing mechanic and you just need to make the shield visible to make it balanced.

It just seems like an inconsistent special that allows for cheap kills on casual teams and only barely helps Light in high elo games even if it is the only viable high elo special.
My proposal would be:
Longer use time. Like half a minute or more. (Maybe not that much).
Can walk and possibly run while cloaked.
No visible shimmer whatsoever so the map colors cannot screw the Light over.
Plays the cloak sound consistently in any movement state (maybe not when crouched and/or walking. I would personally try it without a sound first in those states).
Attacking while cloaked reduces attacks damage output until cloak is fully off.
Can run over mines without setting them off.
Cloak must fully recharge before being able to be used again.
PLEASE buff the riot shields hitbox. This is bs. An m60 just outright ignored my shield

CL-40 main since OB here, just ran a tourney with 3 CLs (2 turret, 1 heal) and might have been the dirtiest win I have ever had in this game. Projectile weaponry should inherently have lower usage stats than standard fire arms. imo, CL-40 should be a fairly niche skill based weapon - good for those that thrive on prediction over direct aim, but not whatever the hell this current broken mess is. Please nerf CL-40. Fix my baby.

A POWERFUL ALTERNATIVE: Make the CL the RPG for the Mediums. You yourselves, Embark, changed the RPG so that it became a wall-destroyer (AS INTENDED!), not a strictly PVP weapon - why don't you do the same for CL? Make it an ability, like the RPG, which has 4 rounds and needs a regen thereafter?
P.S, seeing comments below: @clear hemlock CL, yes, agree. fire rate needs a nerf and/or the same bullet speed as sniper. Weird that one sharpshooter has that bullet speed and others don't.

CL-40 is way to easy to Combo & takes Far less skill than another other automatic, Simi automatic in the game. That ranged weapon shouldn't be used so effortlessly close range.
In a game where Mobility matters, as much as I LOVE the new scopes it killed the XP, & FCAR unique factor, CL Has amazing close range & good mobility due to being able to spam

It's beating weapons like the model, & R. 357 giving you the best of both worlds, while Pike completely out shines R. 357.
S4 weapon balance meta threw a wrench in what was working & didn't help the overall pacing returning players worked so hard to figure out.
I understand new season = new meta for most games, but those are only around for 1 year then left to a skeleton crew to make updates for bugs & cosmetics.
Embark made a board game & is free to shuffle the cards how they want, but it feels like they took fundamental things from the board like go straight to Jail or collect 200 when you pass go. It just messes with how the game plays out feeling like something different entirely.

Embark, ive come up with something cool. What if instead of recharging over time for free, the defibrillator recharged immediately every time you got an elimination? I think it would make the defibrillator reward good gameplay and be less of a get back in the fight for free card.

CL needs a slower reload, or a 1rnd reduction i think. OR a flat AOE damage reduction (direct impacting is hard, that dmg is fine). APS is in a great spot, needs a redeployment-after-picking-up cooldown though. DMR needs way heavier of a damage fall off, like the LH1
@viscid raft @void blade 3min is insane, 1:30 raw between revives, elims reduce by 30s, store up to 3 (5s cooldown inbetween), 66% revive HP for Lights/50% for Medium/33% for Heavies (encourages reviving tactically, instead of directly on an objective), and lower the goddamn regen cooldown by like 2s for heavies because 10 seconds is, frankly, ridiculous
@glacial storm @hearty wadi agreed, the recent buff lowered the skill floor of the weapon to the actual floor, it requires very little skill to use even kinda effectively, and it obliterates even Heavies at basically any distance you can arc a grenade to, it was so unnecessary.

CL-40 getting both its max damage radius AND its max damage increased so much was so out of line, the 30cm max damage radius lets you just shoot at enemies feet in duels, hitting the ground near them and still dealing full damage. i can understand trying to make it a more "high still" weapon. but increasing its max damage radius so much did the exact opposite.

I've been a part of The Finals since the open beta and to see how far you guys have come and how much care you take when listening to community feedback is unmatched by any other studio. The amount of content thats been put out for free-to-play players is so refreshing to see, the amount of secrets, easter eggs, skin variety, and quick balance patches is insanely appreciated. I bought the battle pass in S1 and have been able to grind to not have to purchase it ever since just from the pass rewards this amount of choice, grinding options, in-game events, sponsorships, and game modes this game offers is what makes this truly one of the best games out there today. I hope you continue to stick down this path of giving 110% because thats what makes me want to spend more on in-game purchases and support every livestream because I see the effort and care.

why does the sniper have bloom? I've never used it because it felt so bad to use in the betas. Now im using it to try to get the stupid 50 headshot achievement which im almost certain isn't tracking at this point and the sniper has random deviation when scoped?!?! I have thousands of hours in counter-strike and I grew up sniping with the scout and the awp and this shit is terrible. I understand it's ballistic after 40m now, but that's not what im talking about.

performance tanked in 3.14, they still haven't fixed it yet, meta is toxic as ever, they buffed shit that didn't need buffed and didn't nerf anything that needed nerfed. rn the balance is so bad that it would actually be a step in the right direction to lower medium hp to 200 and heavy to 300.
overall most medium and heavy weapons do too much damage looking at the time to kill a light compared to the ttk a light needs to kill them.

So basically it would be like a cartoony cat and dog onesies. For inspiration, look at "pejsek a koÄiÄka" on google. It was a Czechoslovak fairy tale for kids, where they did many things like cooking, but I digress.
I think it would be nice to add this into the game, as it fits the theme with other onesies, and you could even do a sort of matching emote for them of some sort? While community won't appreciate locking it behind paywall, I think if you added both onesies into a single, 15$ bundle, with some additional cosmetics (maybe something with a cake, episode with cake was the most popular from the whole tale) and maybe a matching emote, would be nice and increase your earnings by atleast 20 dollars :)

It is actually funny to see people saying Heavy was nerfed hard, while it is still one of the best classes to play š Yeah sure its defensive capabilities were hit, but i did not see too many people run anything besides Charge and slam in a good while now, considering it is just so good. As someone who plays all 3 classes, heavy is far the easiest for me to carry with still. CL40 is annoying, maybe even a bit too strong in its current state (especially when 3 players run it in the same team), but overall the games balance is not in a very bad spot right now.
Pike could take a small hit i guess, but data will tell that to Embark.
Heavy is definitely still fun until they nerf charge & slam. Rpg is NOT for shooting at players anymore. Another nerf is coming, directly as a result of all of the other nerfs.

However, the matchmaking has been broken since Season 2. In Season 3, I didn't play much ranked because it was TA, and I detest that game mode. I thought that during that season, meaning Season 3, you were working on the matchmaking to have something decent for Season 4, but I see that this issue continues from Season 2.
My matchups make no sense, neither in terms of rank nor in terms of the dedication to the game, which is evident when I compare my number of kills and revives with those of my teammates. And when I look at the other teams, they are with the people who should be matched with me, but instead, I'm playing against them.
I'm saying all this from the perspective of someone who plays solo, without a team. When can we expect improvements in matchmaking for solo players? Seriously, we've been like this since Season 2, it's very frustrating.
Note 1: I've even had people on my team who said in chat that they were playing ranked for "fun" in the sense of playing "quick play." This is a bad joke.
Note 2: I don't mind if it takes longer to find a game as long as it improves the current experience. I'd rather wait more than 2 minutes or however long it takes than wait 10 seconds and end up with a team with zero skill.
Note 3: Do not use the excuse of not changing the matchmaking in the middle of a season when you make buffs and nerfs to weapons, gadgets, etc., which also affect the game in the middle of the season. You have had enough time to do something about it.
I dont know if this is true on other weapons but on the AKM having a sight equipped covers any sticker on the gun.
you can always be better than anyone else. but from a point of view where 2 equally skilled players fight each other it needs to be balanced. light is harder to use but has more potential. but this potential get shut down by outrageous disbalance of way to high dmg weapons from m/h. AND they proceed to nerf lights mobility which makes no sense at all. I died so many times bc of this nerf even if i played wayy better it just doesnt make sense to play light anymore. btw cloak is completely useless and they should at least give the player 100% invisibility when standing still its hilarious how visible they are right now
i agree, 3 heavy teams are still a bitch and a half to deal with, but not like... impossible. i think they are in a somewhat good spot, other classes should be balanced around them IMO

Bro it's been shit since season 1. Even atm i m getting matched with ppl with +10k RS than me. The Leavers still get no penalties whatsoever and their fix to this was add AI's instead of remaking the matchmaking.
If ur waiting for the devs of this game to do something, let me give u the tldr. They will time u out when u start giving to many real arguments and completly ignore what u said.
In terms of balance Since the game came out Heavy and Medium were meta and up to day they still are and only because of 1 simple fact Revives and HP pool. People will deny this and add arguments like mobility, weapons and gadgets, but delusionals can have their own opinion.
Just unninstall the game and play something else, no point in debating with devs like this. They will never answer to any of ur requests or even comment about them. Save time and brain cells and move on brother. šŖ
I'm currently in queue for ranked in OCE servers and have been for the past 3 hours without getting into a single match and still to this day have only ever been able to get into a ranked match on Asia servers which aren't viable due to high ping, i know getting players for ranked is difficult although i believe either having region locked ranked (as many players have decided to only play on other regions servers as they cannot find matches otherwise) or doing community time slots for certain regions to all play ranked would help boost player counts during peak hours.
It is very frustrating wanting to play ranked in a game which i have enjoyed since day 1 and want to devote time to getting to diamond however am unable to ever get given an opportunity due to issues which are unrelated to the developers, however i just hope that some steps can be taken to reduce queue times and create a community of players where one currently is not. I'm also aware this is not limited to OCE and SA also has trouble when matchmaking for ranked.
So to anyone at embark who reads this i hope you are able to find a solution to this widespread issue even if its is largely out of your control.

It's time to add a voting system to expel a team member. The number of people joining and trolling is increasing. Match after match, there are AFK players who let themselves get killed, and since they stay dead and we donāt revive them, they don't leave. We end up playing whole matches with only two people, unable to let anyone else join because of these actions, or they just move for a few seconds to avoid getting kicked. Matches we could have won but couldnāt because it was just the two of us the whole game.
Also, the penalties for leaving are too light, and people constantly quit mid-game.
NERF the grenade launcher. It's unbearable to play matches with constant explosions, everything falling apart, FPS drops, and you canāt make sense of anything, not even where you are, because itās just rubble and explosions everywhere. It makes no sense. The L players, moreover, go down with just one grenade.
The dagger: How is it possible for someone with a dagger to deal damage from 2 meters away? I was literally in a space on the new map in the cash-out area, and someone with a dagger against the wall managed to hit me even though I was far away aiming at them with my weapon. It doesn't make sense. Itās fine for a dagger to deal a lot of damage, but only if the player gets close enough to be within arm's reach, nothing more. Otherwise, it's excessive.
Rework dash to have a higher skill ceiling while also being faster and harder to hit. Light is useless in high elo because all of its survivability is dependent on the enemy missing shots or making mistakes

I enjoy matches when there's class diversity. The lack of diversity is most noticeable when it's 8+ mediums out of 12, and that occurs frequently in my experience playing WT and Ranked (~gold).

If the devs are worried about the dual blades becoming too strong after buffing them, why not nerf the aim assist? Then you can buff the dual blades while nerfing the dual blades by requiring more precise aim
At any case it would be much more playable as a solo to not face 3 premade squads. Also you won't win the final around against them either if they have good teamwork.
10th day of asking embark to fix the game its stutter for me om this update every 2 seconds with my rx7900xtx and reyzen 7 7800x3d never had issue before only the last 2 updates ruined the game for me with micro stuttering every few seconds

"Maybe play height ?" - as if non-brain dead CL40 users didn't do that in the first place, while Medium class can use not one, not two, but three mobility utilities on a single loadout.
One of my Medium loadouts is exactly that, and with demat/zips/pads, even Lights can't compete with the level of mobility I have access to.
Trent, you've said before that you were a top 150 player, I think this ironically gives you a biased view on this topic. Maybe CL40 users aren't much of a problem to you, because you have enough skill to out-maneuver/out-DPS them, but you have to realize that not everybody does -even players who don't necessarily suck at the game in general. It feels like you fail to see the obvious imbalance of skills/efforts needed to play the CL40 effectively vs. countering it effectively. Especially in more realistic team fight settings where you have to deal with constant explosions on top of incoming fire from other players.

To combat out of control 3-medium defib trains, you just need to set a minimum statue time of 10~sec or so (balance it) after death where a player can not be defibed but can still be revived by hand.
After 10~sec (balance it) you can defib like normal

One big "issue" (which is not really one in fact) is that as this game is "action and destruction" oriented, most people forget the basics of a fps : don't rush in when you don't know where ennemies are, have some cover when fighting, don't ego-challenge people.

CL-40 would be fine if it did the same kind of self damage as a rocket launcher did, but it doesnt. It instead just makes you wish you were never born. A nerf for it is welcome considering most other people use bullets, and they hardly have to aim

im genuinely getting reported trying to get the 50 hs from 50m in casual cashout... this is not a fun challenge something more creative then shoot gun from long distance (this is hard not only due to having to actually aim and hit shots but locations its really difficult to get to a 50m range that you can shoot from im even playing on 45 fov to just make it easier and its just not fun i want to get on and play the game but i also as a completionist want to complete the circuit stage 2 for enigmo why was it made this way

It's literally explained in the next paragraph.
You can literally win off of 30% plugs, non-stop plugging.
30% plug makes an extremely grief heavy Final cashout.
1st or 2nd place will double the last cashout to get first place and be Secure.
You can't counter it because wipe is only a 10% penalty.
This forces you into a 3v9 for the last doubled cashout.
There's also situations that arise where the 3rd and 4th place team are in an unwinnable situation on last cashout.
Let's say 1st and second place both have 35k and 3rd and 4th have less then 10k.
You're literally hosed if first and 2nd place split the cashouts. Zero way to win even if you win a cashout. You can't wipe them and win because it's only 10% for wipe lol.
Not to mention people play like idiots because there's no penalty not to.
It's better to suicide wipe then rez your team in 90% of situations, and the 10% wipe facilitates this.
You can literally win off of 30% plugs, non-stop plugging.
That means that one team is consistently getting control of the vaults, and is likely more skilled than the others.
You can't counter it because wipe is only a 10% penalty.
The 10% penalty is designed to punish teams that do consistently poorly and wipe repeatedly. The top teams should not be in danger from wiping once.
There's also situations that arise where the 3rd and 4th place team are in an unwinnable situation on last cashout.
If they're doing that poorly during the last round of vaults, then they've been playing poorly all game and don't deserve to win on anything less than a doubled cashout.
One is a committal primary weapon that puts you at a disadvantage in plenty of scenarios for using and the other is a commitment free gadget you can swap off from and go back to using a hitscan automatic immediately

'Commitment free gadget' well, it uses one gadget slot to be able to deal 100 damage tops every what, 40-50 seconds ? Frags are a better option at this point. Since Mesh has been gutted, everyone and their mothers run C&S anyway, so it's not like you need another utility to destroy walls, floors and ceilings.

- CL-40 needs a nerf. its a stronger grenade/rpg that can be reloaded faster/launched farther. Also the buildings are just being completely torn apart which is cool but causes performance issues because so many people are using this in lobbies
- 30% cashout bonus is too high, too much reward for grabbing a box and putting it in. I agree it deters not putting the box in but on the last cashout is worth the value of placing/defending the first cashout. Additionally it forces double box cashouts on the last one which shifts the balance of the whole match because one player throws a box in. A flat rate would make more sense.
- need a higher wipe penalty. 10% is worth less than getting a box in later on so risking it all for a little extra is too worthwhile now.
- We need more reliable spawns for end game. Often times I'm spawning with 30+ seconds left in a spot that would be impossible to get to the cashbox and steal it.

You all need to just embrace the stuff you complain about. We started running triple medium 2 CL40 and 1 Pike. Weāve been walking up the ranked ladder with minimum effort. Use the broken stuff. It wonāt change unless they see numbers to back it up. They donāt care about what you have to say, only statistics. So go ruin some games for everyone else.

You get 2 instead of 1, shorter cooldown, higher AoE damage, can be thrown from a good distance, dropped, and even hit enemies outside your LoS/behind cover if you bounce them off obstacles. Not to mention they're sometimes very hard to notice during fights. If you're looking for AoE damage, with the RPG down to 100 tops, why wouldn't use frags instead tbh ? The only real advantage the RPG has is that it can hit near instantaneously. Which I agree can be strong at times.

CL40 is great for bugs, lags, rubberbanding and internet connection. Iām pretty sure players have experience shooting at an opponent and their shots not connecting knowing your reticle is center mass. CL40 kinda helps with all the issues with splash damage. Thatās not skill issue

This past week I was in a game and orange was about to win so both my teammates left, I kept playing and stole the cash out a 1v3v3 in gameshows something like this will really be insane.

Please fix the frame drops as soon as possible. This shit is outrageous. 90% sure it's a cache issue, largely due to it running just fine for 3 games or so, then suddenly it'll start chopping like crazy until I restart.
Please look into this ASAP, it's 100% ruining the game when you have to leave and restart every half hour.

-specializations are the most important part of balancing bc they have a major impact on the pace and fun of the game. they should be balanced in their own category because of that.
nerfing specs is the worst thing you can do balance wise, because it always messes with the pace of the game, which was in my opinion better in season 1/2. almost every spec nerf/change led to quicker, and more on raw weapon combat focused fights, and always took away a tiny part of the games caracteristic. domeshield nerf; dash nerf; heal nerf; cloak nerf; all of these had a major impact on the value of specs in generall. but we need to understand, that, compared to gadgets and weapons, the specs NEED to have the most value/impact on the games balance and pace bc IT IS the MOST ICONIC AND UNIQUE part of the game, besides the destruction, which is not a part of balancing. so i suggest to buff specs, and balance them on a high value level.
imagine specs being way better than ever. it would make the different classes more unique and would bring out the CLASS CHARACTERISTICS more.

I understand weekly contracts are meant to take some time to complete but having a contract be āheadshot 50 opponents from a distance of 50 meters or moreā is just not very feasible to complete in the average game right now, even with weapons like the sniper, bow or pike. Maybe reduce the distance or amount of headshots because even dealing damage at those ranges can be quite difficult. And mind you im on controller so factor that in too

Winch Claw should simply not exist. In its current state it does not just ācross distanceā it completely deletes the distance between you and the enemy.
If light had an ability that teleported themselves directly in front of someone within 12m of them, people would say itās broken because it allows them to instantly use their high damage short range guns.
Light Sword is the most broken thing in this game right now without a doubt. It's insane how 1 L sword player just can run through entire teams. It's impossible to hit. The only counter is stun or cl40. It's so stupid.

The fact it can 2 shot a light/medium at any range is crazy. There is no balance and there is nothing you can do to mitigate it.
Yes you can run an APS, but it pops in 3 shots ( despite the model showing 4), and the reload time on the CL-40 makes the brief protetion from the APS useless in comparison to something like landmines or grenades would offer offensively.

Ranked is in a great state but there's some thing i do hope they change and improve with it. I think a big thing is personal performance being taken into accounts, its literally the only good thing Terminal Attack had going for it yet they scrapped it from cashout. I think the fact you gain / lose elo based soley on tournement position is a little stupid (it fits with the gameshow theme in universe but for a video game ranking system it is pretty stupid, for example you could have like a 10+ KD, 10K in all 3 scores, and lose to a team by $500 with a combined score of less than half of your own personal score, and you will lose 1000+ points, where as they will gain 500+, even though realistically you are a better player in every capacity, they just got a last minute steal or something, or maybe your own team just got third partied the entire game.
There's been a lot of games where i have blatantly carried my team in every regard only to lose the exact same amount of Elo as them, its is clear im a better player but have just been put in a bad team.
I know personal performance could be a hard thing to manage in the Finals as something as simple as holding E on a cashout at the last second can win you a game, and theres not really a good way to reward players for them small plays that dictate a match, but i think overall a small change to your Elo for having more / less score than your team or other players in the lobby wouldnt be a bad idea.

Also.. the Rocket launcher can deal 174 dmg to me.. but only 100 to the oponent.. but two CL-40 can two tap a Heavy. Where is the fix to the "opening" in this?
In the heavy.. make the charge reduce some of the incomming damage.. or remove the initial build up.
